< CRISIS SYSTEM ARRIVED! > The Crisis System has finally be constructed and release to the general public. We encourage people to test out the system and enjoy themselves in drafting grand stories capable of changing the dynamics of the Role-Play World. Understand that the system is new, thus there are some kinks to be worked out that we couldn't due to not having enough man power to test! Make sure to read the rules which are placed in the Rules and Checks section of the RP Boards.
< THE NEXT MAJOR EVENT! > The Next Major Event will arrive starting the first week of Decemeber! Why are we making this announcement so early? Because we want to provide ample amount of opportunity to warn the community to start preparing and testing out their move sets. It will be a faction event once more, which means Heroes vs Villains BUT remember that Vigilantes are now thrown into the fray. It would be utter chaos so stay tune!
< To Be Announced > TBA
Kuvira stood over the man as he lay there, on his back, looking up at the sky. Kuvira hoped that this would be the end of the fight but she knew would not be defeated unless he was knocked unconscious. It was a huge surprise to find out that he was still conscious, or even alive for that matter.
"I assume you are going to do your little phasing ability yes?"
As soon as she finished her sentence the man sinked into the ground below. Kuvira let out a sigh before crossing her arms. She had no choice but to wait until the man re-emerged from the ground below. Sure she could drive underground and try and get him but he was intangible, so that would not work.
Moments later she could feel vibrations in the abandoned house next to her, it was without a doubt that man trying to make an escape on foot. Lucky for Kuvira the house was made of brick, this would allow her to bend the walls open and then easily repair it as if nothing happened.
"You should give up now. This is getting pathetic. "
Kuvira let out a small chuckle as she walked towards the man in the other room. All of the man's big talk and he was the one running at the end, while Kuvira remained un-scratched.

In the time that it took Nike’s opponent to re-locate him and walk over to the building that he was hiding in, Nike was able to catch his breath and recover a bit of his stamina. However, because she managed to find him faster than he had originally anticipated, he was still hard-pressed to continue fighting her and to try to escape the cops afterwards. As she broke through one of the building walls to approach him, Nike would permeate and eject himself once more to make his final getaway – or at least he would have, until a few words from his opponent convinced him otherwise:
"You should give up now. This is getting pathetic. "
Nike couldn’t help but to react at those words. Calling him “pathetic” under these circumstances was like calling McFly a “chicken.” He couldn’t stand it. If he hadn’t previously expended his energy on that group of fools, he wouldn’t be having problems right now. Nike was confident that if he was in top-form, she woulda’ been caught the fade. At that moment, his pride wouldn’t allow him to run away; against his better judgement, Nike would attempt one last attack on the woman.
As she approached close range, Nike would stand up and charge her while using his “Full-Body Jigen-Tou” technique. By rapidly permeating his body back and forth between a solid and intangible state, Nike was able to phase into, rupture, and fracture the earth beneath him simply by being in contact with it. The resulting tremors would have the effect of briefly knocking his opponent off balance. Taking advantage of that moment, Nike would lunge forward and thrust his right hand through the woman’s left shoulder. With his fingers joint and pointing out, his hand acted like a knife, and was capable of cutting through all matter; therefore, even if his opponent was wearing her earthen armor, he would be able to penetrate her skin underneath.
In his current state, Nike could destroy any earth technique that his opponent used in retaliation. However, rather than to exhaust his stamina with the prolonged use of his Quirk, Nike opted for a different course of action. With his right hand already inside of his opponent, Nike would permeate his body one last time and then deactivate his Quirk. This had the effect of “ejecting” his opponent and sending her flying across the room in the opposite direction.
Nike yelled after her as she flew:
“Pathetic? Don’t get cocky! Don’t make the mistake of thinking you’re stronger than me, just because I’ve been weakened!”
As Kuvira approached the man it would seem that her words ticked him off. Kuvira's Seismic sense abilty could feel the ground below rupturing underneath them. All of a sudden Kuvira was thrown off balance. The man charged at Kuvira and used his phasing ability to thrust his arm into her shoulder, through her armor of rock. While there was no pain from the initial stab she could feel him solidify and push her across the room into a wall.
“Pathetic? Don’t get cocky! Don’t make the mistake of thinking you’re stronger than me, just because I’ve been weakened!”
Kuvira had gotten careless...again. An animal is most dangerous when they are cornered and that is exactly what is taking place here. This man was at the end of his rope with no where to go but down, and he did not plan on going down without a fight as Kuvira would find out.
Kuvira stood up and began to let out a chuckle. Kuvira began to slowly clap her hands together. In the distance the sounds of police sirens echoed. The man's time was up.
"Congrats. You hit me. Now what? The police are gonna be here in about a minute and you are badly damaged. Let us just assume you are stronger than me for a second. Do you believe you can beat me AND the cops when they arrive? I suggest you give yourself up and go quietly. That phasing ability of yours is nice and all but I doubt at this point you can hold it long enough to escape gunfire and when you eventually emerge I'll just find you. Maybe you can say you killed in self defense and fight this in court."
Kuvira did not care one bit for the man and really hoped he got life in prison or perhaps the chair. She was telling what he might like to hear in hopes that he stop resisting arrest. Kuvira leaned back against the wall she was just launched into moments ago. She had hoped the man thought about her words and made the right decision.
She was right. He had already taken a fair amount of damage, and the exhaustion was beginning to weigh heavy on his body. If he had to fight her and the cops at the same time, he wasn't confident that he would be able to escape jail, or possibly even death. He was at a loss for what to do, and his frustration was starting to boil over like a volcano, and spill over the top. As his opponent stood there and laughed, he couldn't help but join in and exhaustively laugh at himself and the irony of his situation. Upon their initial encounter, their positions were swapped, with Nike being the one to taunt and scoff at his opponent. At that moment, he couldn't help but to laugh at his shameful position.
He currently stood far across from his opponent, visibly exhausted and out of breath. The dark night sky was beginning to encroach on and overshadow the vibrant evening colors over Flatbush. If one looked out the window behind Nike, they could see the faint glimmer of flashing cop-lights as they approached the area from only a block or 2 away. The blaring sound of their sirens told Nike that things were really coming down to the wire, and that his chances of escape were null. However, just at that moment, he hatched an idea. Having decided not to give up just yet, he responded to his opponent's earlier statement without letting her on to his plan:
"Ha, well I can't deny that I'm a bit worn out. Fighting you is one thing, but from the sound of their sirens, the cops are coming en masse; trying to fight you both would be madness, even for me. Even if I tried, it would mean walking straight into an early grave, but I guess it hasn't really sunk in yet - because I'm not the least bit afraid."
Sounds of laughter bounced around the abandoned Kuvira laughed because of their positions being switched. Perhaps he actually lost his mind? Taking a Defeat to a teenage girl who randomly stumbled across him committing crimes was probably too much for him. The sounds of police sirens were louder, closer. Kuvira could feel them pull up outside in a drone.
Kuvira's laugh stopped as the man spoke. He was not done with this battle and that much was evident.
"I take it you plan on fighting us after? I understand you are not afraid but stupid is definitely something you are. Allow me to hand you over.

The sound of tires screeching to a halt, the opening and closing of doors, along with the clamoring of multiple footsteps outside resounded throughout the building room where Nike and his opponent were located. Sure enough, the police had arrived to apprehend him. Despite this, Nike stood calm and collected. He didn't make any sudden moves, and for all intents and purposes, he seemed to have resigned himself to his fate. However, Nike's opponent didn't seem convinced. She appeared apprehensive in the face of his reserved attitude.
"Haha, why the scary look? There's not much I can do right now, is there? You don't have to hand me over, I'm not going anywhere. Besides, the fact that you called the cops in the first place means you don't have the authority to take me in. Relax, let the boys do their job."
