< CRISIS SYSTEM ARRIVED! > The Crisis System has finally be constructed and release to the general public. We encourage people to test out the system and enjoy themselves in drafting grand stories capable of changing the dynamics of the Role-Play World. Understand that the system is new, thus there are some kinks to be worked out that we couldn't due to not having enough man power to test! Make sure to read the rules which are placed in the Rules and Checks section of the RP Boards.
< THE NEXT MAJOR EVENT! > The Next Major Event will arrive starting the first week of Decemeber! Why are we making this announcement so early? Because we want to provide ample amount of opportunity to warn the community to start preparing and testing out their move sets. It will be a faction event once more, which means Heroes vs Villains BUT remember that Vigilantes are now thrown into the fray. It would be utter chaos so stay tune!

Asahi would wake up hours later in a hospital bed, his body covered in bandages and connected to several machines that were checking on his signs. His body hurt all over and even trying to adjust his bed sheets seemed to pose a problem. Yet, inexplicably, his body wasn’t really in that bad shape considering the amount of damage he had taken from the villain’s attack, which had caught him by surprise given he had focused his heat sensing onto the criminal.
“Oh, you’re awake. That’s good.”
Asahi trailed the source of the sound back to a man, dressed all in white with a stethoscope hanging from his neck, who had just entered the room and closed the door behind him. Asahi sat up and acknowledged him with a nod. “Hello, my name is doctor Smith. As you’re probably guessing, you’re in a hospital. You were brought in by a hero yesterday, so make sure to send him a letter thanking him later on. I believe his name was Fritz?”
Asahi’s eye widened for a second before his mouth broke into a smirk. “So that’s what happened.” He muttered to himself as the doctor read the report.
“You know, according to witnesses, you got caught in a fairly dangerous explosion,” the doctor commented nonchalantly, eyeing Asahi up and down as if trying to corroborate the sustained damage the report mentioned. “Yet you arrived in surprisingly better conditions than you would expect from a man coming out of a blast."
Beep.
Doctor Smith looked down at his pager, which had suddenly let off an alarm. It must have been good news, because he was beaming when he raised his head to speak again. “Aren’t you guys synchronised? He just woke up, so I’ll have to go check on him now."
“Who did?”, Asahi asked, puzzle. His brain was still trying to put the pieces back together from what he last remembered.
“Oh, aren’t you friends with Roland? I thought you knew him, considering Fritz brought both of you in together”, he said before leaving the room in a hurry.
Pain was a mistress with which Roland had a strange relationship. Due to his Qurik, rarely did he ever stay injured very long; however, he would rarely ever heal cuts and bruises he obtained right away, for fear one day that, as a hero, being a stranger to pain would cause him problems. Thus, Roland did not fear pain, as others might, due to the knowledge in his mind that he could remove it at an instant…but that did not mean it was pleasant.
Roland sat quietly in a hospital bed, an alien land to him, as his eyes blinked into focus as he roused himself from him slumber. Sunlight filtered through white curtains, betraying the early morning light. He seemed to recall it being almost mid-day before he blacked out, so it seemed he had been unconscious for quite some time. He sat up in his bed, aware of the strain in his muscles to do so; and flinched as he tried to turn. Removing the sheet that covered his body, he noticed a split tied to his leg; broken, it seemed.
Around this time, the door to Roland’s room opened, and a man in a white coat entered – a doctor. “Hello there, glad to see you’re awake. I am Doctor Smith. Seems you didn’t make it out quite as well as Asashi did, there, but you should make a full recovery. Seems Mr. Fritz saved you two from a rather nasty situation; he wanted me to extend an apology. It seems he had to create quite a lot of ice to damped the explosion, and a rather large portion fell on you, it’s why your leg is broken.”
Roland nodded, remembering seeing ice spring up around his vision before he blacked out. It seemed a hero had arrived, after all, just in the nick of time to save the day. Deciding that a broken leg would be too troublesome to deal with for an extended period of time, Roland coated his body in a barrier, and the doctor’s eyebrows raised, perhaps perplexed before coming to a satisfied conclusion, as within only a few moments, Roland got off the bed and took the splint off; having been healed back to peak health.
“Did they catch the thief?” asked Roland, stretching, as he kept the barrier persistent around him for just a few extra moments to ensure that everything was optimal. As he did so, the Doctor came over and helped remove a few of the attached medical devices, before giving Roland a quick check-up to just note that everything was in order.
“Healing Quirks are quite rare – that’s a gift you have there. Part of me wants to berate you too, for being foolish, but you were still very brave in your actions. But, yes, it seems Mr. Fritz was able to apprehend the thief quite easily with the use of his own Quirk, and I imagine the individual is being expedited to a penitentiary. Come, I’ll take you to Asashi’s room. I imagine you’re wanting to employ the use of your ability,” said the Doctor, as he opened the door to the room and motioned outward for Roland.
It didn’t take long for the doctor to return, followed closely by a beaming Roland. The latter advanced towards his companion to greet him. “So, the doctor put me up to speed. The number you gave me was a quick line to Leona’s Agency? How did you even come to possess such a luxury?” Without wasting so much as a second, Roland enacted a translucent barrier around Asahi and got to work. Asahi had never gotten the chance to truly appreciate how the ability worked, so he decided to appreciate it in earnest. The encompassing energy dug deep into his skin and washed away every undesirable feeling; pain, fatigue and the very wounds seemed to disappear without leaving so much as a mark. Watching it work, the self-acclaimed self-sufficient sun couldn’t help but wonder if this trait wasn’t just healing him physically or if it was bringing it back his body to peak form. “I’ll ask him later about it”, he concluded before resuming the conversation.
“Thanks! Yeah, that was a direct line to her agency. The person you spoke to was her receptionist most likely and since I wasn’t the one speaking, she probably had to corroborate our story before sending help in the form of Fritz; he’s a hero at her agency who has freezing powers and has helped me train before."
Asahi stopped to catch his breath, and used this opportunity to take a hold of the water bottle that lied at a table to his right. He gulped the liquid down and let out a sigh of pleasure before continuing. “The line is reserved for a select few, so in order to keep it safe in case my phone goes missing, I’ve labelled the contact “EN” as in Emergency Number. As for how I have the number in the first place…well, Leona is my mother.”
Roland listened to Asashi’s story, as his barrier went to work restoring the man’s health; the surprise on Roland’s face would have been obvious, as Asashi revealed that he was the son of the Number 10 Hero, Leona.
“That’s…incredible!” spoke Roland, lost for words to meet someone so prolific. While many Heroes had their fans, Roland wasn’t in her camp, per say, but could not discount the – literal – star’s popularity and ability. To have met her son, well, it certainly explained Asashi’s Quirk, and no doubt he would be destined for great things as well. “It was quite lucky you were there, then. No doubt that could have ended much worse had we not had your connections. Oh, and if you will, please tell Mr. Fritz thank you, for me, since I doubt I’ll have the opportunity to see him again.”
“If you don’t mind, what brought you into that fray?” asked Asashi, letting himself up out of the bed, and stretching his body, seemingly puzzled, and stretching his body to explore his renewed vitality as his wounds vanished, before Roland dispelled the barrier.
“Ah, I suppose that’s a good question. I came from California to try and enroll in Dawn University, but, ah…getting involved in a commotion like that probably wasn’t a good idea,” said Roland, collapsing into a chair on the other side of the room as he said so.
Asahi stretched his body, testing his elasticity prior to practicing a quick one-two combo as if shadow boxing. Upon learning of his companion’s intentions of joining Dawn Academy, he couldn’t help but smile. “Well, if anything, I believe the help you provided during the bombing can only help your case for your potential as a future hero. You saved countless lives and I can’t wait to see how far you go.”
Stopping his motions, he turned on his heel faced Roland, who had just collapsed into his nearest chair. “With that being said, I don’t intend to fall behind nor concede any ground. My mom learnt all she knows there and is currently dictating some courses as well. My aspirations are to become an even better hero than she was but I still have a lot to learn so I’m also applying to Dawn. If I’m going to beat her, I first have a lot of catching up to do.”
“So I guess our future might be more aligned than we initially thought, huh? I’m glad I will know someone at the exam, at least. Besides your abilities are quite rare, so you will probably get in without much trouble so I need to work hard on my own craft if I want to become the best.”
Roland smiled; not doubting the fact in the least that Asashi would likely go on to be a great hero in the future, with both Leona as his mother, and having tutelage at Dawn University. It would be a good fit; in America, due to its large population and geography, many villains of many different varieties sprang up with increasing frequency, and so the need for noble heroes was always high.
“Indeed,” said Roland, as Asashi brought up the entrance exam to Dawn University, “seeing a familiar face always helps curb the anxiousness, and serves as a great motivator to push yourself. I hope we do definitely get to see more of each other, in time; I want to be a Rescue Hero, so who knows – I might end up as your sidekick in the future,” laughed Roland.
The two men spoke for a bit longer before parting ways; they exchanged contact information so that they could keep in touch, which would come into use faster than either of the two boys would realize. When Roland returned home that day, he found a letter waiting for him at his residence, addressed to him and bearing a letter head of Leona’s agency.
Inside was a letter written by the hero Fritz, the Hero from Leona’s agency with the ice powers, and who had saved Asashi and Roland that night. He spoke of the bravery it required to leap into action, and the uniqueness of his Quirk and how it had the potential to save a tremendous amount of lives. The letter spoke about how one with not only the potential to do such good, but the active desire to do so, should be allowed to flourish, and how it was their – his – duty as a Hero to help foster the growth of the next wave to come. Within the letter was a confirmation that Fritz had backed Roland’s application into Dawn University, and written an additional recommendation, and, providing Roland could pass the examination required for recommended applicants, be allowed to attend the institution.
Roland, unable to contain his joy at the opportunity presented to him, contacted Asashi to let him know that he would indeed see him again, this time at the entrance exam; though he also asked him to thank Fritz once again, Asashi ensured him that the opportunity, while fortuitous, was one that Roland earned.
With a chance encounter, and a call to action, the two men sparked what could erupt into a longstanding friendship, as both of them strove to reach greater heights as heroes.
Conclusion: The thief subdued by the hero Fritz by Leona's Hero Agency, and Asashi and Roland having returned to their respective dwellings, with Roland having received a recommendation for a chance to enter Dawn University, the two men eagerly await the opportunity to prove themselves and start on their paths to becoming heroes.

Whew, that was fantastic. I'm curious to know more about this Fritz fellow, as well as what will become of Asahi and Roland in the future. Something tells me that they'll make an excellent tag-team, a real force to be reckoned with. Anyways:
