Three of the Dusk Institution Students Approached Lawrence, Arthur, Jason, Go Go, and Siegfrid. The one with the yellow undershirt was snickering as he pointed at Arthur whom was publically sulking. The girl looked at Go Go whom was laughing out loud, she expressed a look of disgust. As for the teen with glasses, he took them off as he began his speech.
“Judging from your uniforms, you are some of Dawn University’s representatives this year.”
The girl would utter the word yuck before speaking.
“I see why you guys did not attend last year. Looks like the school is losing their eye for talent….hell at least proper females.”
The one with the yellow undershirt began laughing even louder than Go Go. It of course made the girl wince abit, but they were a team. Public cohesiveness was more important at the moment.
“Look at this one chump. On the floor cracking under pressure. You weakling! Shit you ain’t even…”
The one in the glasses moved his arm ahead of the rowdy one, signaling that he wanted him to stop. If that wasn’t enough, he spoke immediately afterwards.
“The Media says the only reason why we won the Sports Festival last year was due to your absence.”
“Pfft!.”
“As if!”
“I say not. Our school is prestigious, more so than you bunch of buffoons. We shall take great pleasure in showing the world that we are definitely better!”
Jiren would look across the area as more and more people arrived, taking in the arrival of both Arthur and blackmayne two people he had known for quite some time. He had spent considerably more time with Arthur but blackmayne was the first person he encountered from the heroic world.
It seemed there were several students from other schools approaching them as a female student made fun of Arthur's name, jiren couldn't blame her it was rather gaudy after all. But as he approached he heard the students from the other schools engaging in what seemed like trash talk. Jiren didn't have the time nor the patience for such idle foolishness, he approached closer towering over everyone he was indeed rather strangely proportioned in comparison to everyone else.
With little more than a side glance at the unknown students he spoke.
"Nobody here cares about your pathetic rivalry. If you desire loss so badly I assure you that you'll soon experience it. Begone."
Before turning to address Arthur paying them no further attention. He greeted his fellow Sparta trainee with a simple nod.

Blackmayne listened to the peons in front of him talking as he inspected their clothing. They weren't the brightest people here, obviously; one of them refered to their uniforms as if every person from Dawn was not dressed differently.
"Boy, what in the Gorillaz, Spy who Shagged Me, Lost members of the Beatles, Fish n Chips eating hell is you wearing? Harry, if you don't put those glasses on and look for a new place to locate, Voldemort and your homework gone be the last of your problems. Dressed like Hogwarts interns, fuck out my face."
Blackmayne responded to the blond haired man's jabs whilst laughing as he continued to survey the man.
"Lmao, hold up. Are you wearing ankle beaters and suspenders? Ima suspend belief that you thought this was an acceptable costume in 2019," Blackmayne laughed while leaning on Firestorm's shoulder.
"Is this what the other schools wear? If your fashion statements speak for your skill, Dawn definitely has nothing to stress about, huh Mr Rogers?"
The last year had been a series of trials and tribulations for Mob. He had gone from almost permanently being put into a coma by a Lucas family member, almost getting killed by a cybernetic swordsman, to enduring the hellish training from Professor Dupe to control his mental energy upkeep. It was tiring. He had even met and fought with a gimp to escape sexual pursuers, it was an interesting year. Mob started to think as he talked himself(he still thinks he's talking to himself).
“Boy, are you ready to participate in this festival?”, a voice in Mob’s head said.
Ah yes, the sport’s festival. Professor Dupe had probably mentioned it during their training, but Mob was so focused on his training that he didn't remember it until it was time. This would be a great time to have fun and compete with his classmates.
“I’m not sure but what I do know is I am ready. At the very least, I’m here to gain acknowledgment from my fellow classmates!”, Mob thought as he walked in playing “In My Feelings” by Drake on his Streetz portable Bose speaker.
“Look higher than that! Look to perform with the out most excellence!”, the voice said
“You’ve got a point, Tatsumaki would be impressed if I at least did well.”, Mob thought.
Mob walked to the entrance of the staples center and was met by an officer with a clipboard who wished to confirm his Hero name on the registry.
“Nexus”
“An interesting name” said the man with the clipboard as he jotted it down and walked away.
“Hiku. How’s it going?”, Mob said as they greeted each other.
Mob then heard a girl say another person’s Hero name in a laughing manner (The Golden Knight). Mob thought it sounded slightly cool, it reminded him of a video game. The girl also bad mouthed three people from another school and shoved gum in one's hand.
“It seems this one is full of energy. Be wary of those with loud mouths” “Yeah, but at least she’s representing the school. Those three dudes are out there trying to start beef anyways”
It would be a good chance for Mob to show that he has what it takes to be a hero and experience life!
Name: Savage Mind Quirk: Emitter Quirk Level: Basic [Ascend] Rank: G Experience Points: Free Type: Offensive, Defensive, Supplementary Range: Self-Close Damage: None Description: Savage Mind is the Parent Technique to “The Minds…Still” quirk. An Esper’s Quirk in nature, the user can utilize their mental capacity to perform telekinetic and telepathic abilities for offensive – defensive – supplementary measures. At this level of mastery, the user can only use basic levels of telekinetic application such as lifting solid and liquid like matter. At this level of mastery, the user can only connect telepathically to one individual at a time. That individual must be of human nature and contain a functioning brain and central nervous system. At this level, the user can only utilize one spirit at a time with themselves, although it is only possible to communicate with the spirits. The user holds great control over their telekinetically abilities, being able to control objects within four-meter radius. The user cannot lift more than four meters in length/width.
Inner Workings:
~ At this level, Telekinetic Abilities require physical cues, such as raising the arms to life targets or pointing to send the targets in a desire direction, thus without the cues the telekinetic abilities cannot be properly used.
~ At this level, Telepathy Abilities can only connect the user with human life that they can see. Once losing track of the target results in the connecting being broken. Due to directly linking together the minds, any mental base damage is amplified for the user - thus they receive an additional damage.
~Being an Esper Mob can interact with the emotional spectrum which can be applied to techniques via his psionic energy, assorted colors will show when specific emotions are present for each different emotion.
~The Attack Speed, Movement Speed, and/or Projectile Speed of Mental Based Attacks/Objects Mob Mentally Manipulates is Dependent on his Accuracy Attribute
Drawbacks: The Quirk requires Mental Energy. Abusing the quirk results in exhausting the Mental Energy. At certain points, using psionics will physically drain the user's stamina.

A very palpable heat wave came and went at these statements. Brief enough that it seemed as if it were just a particularly hot moment in the California heat, but an exceedingly sickeningly hot moment indeed. Heh.
Jason took a quick note of the 3 that had come upon them. The two women appeared to be having an altercation, and Blackmayne and That grey guy that came around after the Garden incident were also being their own brand of dismissive towards the newcomers.
Firestorm would slide between the two groups and extend his arms
Another heatwave. Dry. Arid. Sickening heat. It lasted even longer than the first one. It was still only a moment, but it felt as if it slowed time down a tad. That California sun was radioactive today wasn't it?
"Guys guys... and gals."
Jason would say nodding towards both of the women.
He would say in a booming voice
"There's no need to get heated. Lets act like HEROES here and settle it on the field. We're representing the young heroes of the world, the next generation. No need to get hot under the collar!"
The cameras had caught this altercation. How could they not. A small group of students were getting into a heated argument. Another student had fallen to the ground suddenly. But they had also seen Firestorm attempt to end the altercation, being a real hero
POWER PLAY: Cameras just caught Firestorm being a real hero and the other heroes getting into an altercation. They did not capture what Firestorm said as when he walked up to Arthur and Gogo. Firestorm also becomes a fan favorite!
“So much for my grand return”, Asahi thought as he waited in line to enter the event held by Dawn. A full year had passed since Asahi’s last appearance in the hero scenery. Shortly after the incident at the wall street district, he was admitted into Dawn Academy ready to commence his hero career. Unfortunately, destiny had other interests at heart; his plan flew out of the window by the third class when he learnt his mother, the hero Leona, had gone missing in action fighting the Lucas Family at the Botanical Garden.
This episode sent Asahi’s world crashing down, as the media scrambled to get the first comments on the episode by anyone close to Leona. In order to avoid the spotlight and have some space to grief, his father Ikhuni sent a convoy to take him back to Wakanda, his place of birth. He remained there, in the comforting presence of his brothers and sisters, for the remainder of the year. Asahi was allowed by the school to miss classes and to take an integrated exam at the end of the final semester of his first year but they insisted he made an appearance at the Sports Festival, for it would send a much needed positive message. His response was an old phrase his mother used to say; “The darkest nights produce the brightest stars.”
Lost in thought, Asahi almost jumped as a worker eagerly asked him to identify himself. Taking a second to regain his composure, he replied. “My name is Asahi, I’m from Dawn University. My hero name is Antares.”
Quirk: Transformation Quirk Level: Basic [Ascend] Rank: G Experience Points: Free Type: Supplementary Range: Close Damage: Null Description: Sunbloomer is a transformation-type quirk that allows Asahi to function as a self-sufficient sun, capable of exuding and manipulating thermal energy, heat, light and exert gravitational pull on the environment around him. Asahi’s star form possesses a short life span, which is represented by the pool of energy he can exert, although since he is a star it’s possible to absorb foreign sources of energy to replenish his life span. In this form, he is capable of sensing heat sources and differentiate the nature of that energy. The Sunbloomer Quirk does not lend itself to lying very well, thus he is useless at stealth maneuvers - since cloaking his light is almost impossible.
~ Inner Workings
When not channelling his thermal energy through his corona about his head, it swirls over his skin, raising his body temperature to dangerous heights. It doesn’t bother Asahi in the least, but he’s yet to learn to subconsciously redirect the flow so as not to scald anyone should their skin touch his. The represent the risen body temperature, the user's free-form and techniques experience damage increase. [Technique need to be made] During the times that Asahi is not using his quirk, the energy swirls over his corona - indicating that the powers are docile.
~ Drawbacks
Activating the Sunbloomer Quirk causes the body to become a Sun. Due to being an actual star means that Asahi possesses a gravitational pull, however at this level he cannot control which direction to focus his pull. Thus, the entire environment is drawn to him. [Technique to be made]
The Sunbloomer Quirk cannot be maintained for too long, thus there is an energy reserve that Asahi possesses. Running out of this energy results in forceful shutout from the power, even if in the middle of an attack. [Techniques to be made]

"My God is that Team Rocket?" Mob thought to himself.
Mob laughed as Blackmayne and Jiren badmouthed the opposing team and witnessed the Fire hero try to diffuse the situation. Hopefully the opposing team wouldn't cause any trouble right now .
It had been some time since Derek had last gone on a class trip, a year since the events of Botanical Garden.. where he fought alongside his classmates to try and defeat the villains that had infiltrated to capture Leona.. Derek had tried his best to free the top hero.. making it all the way to the green house and even sneaking her away, before he was knocked out and captured.. then in some weak minded attempt to sacrifice someone else for his own freedom he ended up with severe injuries. He owed his life to Arthur... after treatment and a year of training both physically and mentally. Derek could say he was a better man today. So when the petty children made their way to disrespect Dawn University the young hero held his tongue. He took a seat on a bench outside the Staples Center, glad to be out of New York and in the sun. He took out some rolling paper and started rolling a blunt, he took a few hits, enjoying the afternoon sun.
Name: Light Embodiment Quirk: Transformation Quirk Level: Basic [Ascend] Rank: G Experience Points: None Type: Supplementary Range: Close Damage: Light Projectile/Movement Techniques Receive Bonus 1 SPM Description: A technique that serves as both parent and precursor to the Light Embodiment Quirk. Its acquisition provides the individual with the ability to transform their own body into light [the speed of transforming is based on ACC] and manipulated light for offensive and defensive capabilities with aided equipment. Through the manipulation of said light, the user can create beams, waves, blasts and constructs composed of this hard-light energy. The light can burn and melting both enemies and objects, the user can also manipulate the light itself for various effects. While in light form, the user is granted immunities to all conventional attacks. Lastly speed of the light is determined by the user’s movement speed whether its strength and speed. The light itself is extremely fast, therefore each technique features
Drawback: When the user is intangible, everything passes through them – this includes things like light, sound, and even air. Roland finished placing his belongings in his designated locker, within the locker rooms set aside for his class; very few people were in the room at the moment, and fewer still that Roland knew well. It seemed most were still out and about, mingling with others. There were a lot of people Roland did not recognize, many of which wore uniforms not of Dawn University Design. It reinforced that not only would Roland be competing against his peers in order to gain his foothold as a hero, he would also be competing against myriad others from other schools, all vying for the same dream. The amount of uncertainty in what would transpire was high, but Roland's spirit did not falter.
He closed his locker back with a gentle hand, checking the time on his phone, and pulling his hair up; leaving the locker room, he returned to one of the commons, where many people still loitered, both mingling and sizing up the competition. Roland would have liked to have prepared in some manner, but was honestly at a loss for what to do. The events they were going to be participating in were held secret, though they'd likely be a spectacle due the televised nature of the Sports Festival. But even so, some common themes would likely exist between this and previous festivals.
Roland's train of thought was broken as he saw what he thought was a familiar sight, one he had not seen since that day in New York. He rushed through the crowd, with a quick "Excuse me. Pardon me," as he moved towards the direction of the figure, one who seemed to be generating light all their own. Roland had tried to contact them a few times, but outside of their first little exchange, his messages were only ever met with silence or "Member Not Found" errors.
But, he was certain.
"Asahi!" yelled Roland, as he pushed through the crowd.
Asahi turned his head and looked over his shoulder after hearing a familiar voice calling out to him. It turned out to be Roland, a companion he met in his first ordeal as a hero but most importantly, a friend. He had lost contact with him after leaving for Wakanda but considering he was here to partake in the Festival, Asahi deduced he had managed to enter at least one hero academy.
“Yo, Roland. Long time no see!”, he replied, beaming. “Here to compete, huh?”
This past year had been something hectic for Gohan. He never stopped being a hero. He would go around new york doing whatever he could so he would be able to protect and serve the people from the evils of New York City. Whenvever he wasnt learning vital lesson in heroism at Dawn University, or applying those lessons in his heroics as The Great Saiyaman, Gohan trained to make himself stronger , gain better control over his quirk, and develop new techniques to help him in both previous aspects.
Gohan makes his way thru the main entrance of the Staples Center, scanning the entire interior of it in awe as he noticed how large, vast, and how properly structured it was for this particular event. Even with his vast book smarts, Gohan couldnt comprehend the amount of space this Stadium actually occupied. All of it, the location, the event, the moment got Gohan fired up to show how great of a hero he could be with his abilities.
In the middle of his admiration a lady was going around getting names from the many candidates there to participate in the festival. some were indifferent about their names while others were ecstatic. There was one name that stood out the most to Gohan. One of the candidates gave themselves the hero name, "The Golden Knight". Gohan hearing that name thought it was such an awesome name to have. It made Gohan feel as if he didnt give much thought this his hero name. Unfortunately, it was too late now for two different reasons. the first is that he has been using the name for years in New York City so many people know the name is associated with him. The second is that the lady with the clipboard was approaching and he new that it would be too late to think of a new name now as she approached Gohan.
Welcome to the festival, candidate. May I get your name and hero name please?
Son Gohan...And I will be particpating as He who does not allow evil, the champion of Justice, The Great Saiyaman!
The lady rolled her eyes at the ridiculous as Gohan remain frozen mid pose in confusion as he noticed the ladies reaction. He couldnt believe that she didnt think that the Justice pose was cool. He certainly did and so did his fans. He didnt think about it for too long. He quickly returned to have standing upright, tall, with pride as he looked forward to what was coming up next in the sport festival.
Name: Iokinesis Quirk: Emitter Quirk Level: Basic [Ascend] Rank: G Experience Points: Free Type: Offensive, Defensive, Supplementary Range: Self Damage: 0 Description: Inkiness is an Emitter Type Quirk that allows the user to manipulate ionic base matter to produce plasma. The manipulation consists of the user raising their own electrical potential, via the muscles and neural impulses that are present within the nervous system of the body, so that the heat around and inside them are super-heated. This causes the electrons to separate from atoms, which creates positive charged ions in high concentration forms like “plasma”. Plasma can be used to attack the target, defend the user, and to improve the user’s capabilities in battle.
Drawbacks: Superheating themselves and the Environment around is not an ability without consequences. If the body is superheated for long enough durations, the body begins to suffer for its still human and needs proper hydration. The following is the breakdown of this quirk's drawbacks:
3 Turn Consecutive Use: -10 PHY in Stamina Attribute 4 Turn Consecutive Use: -20 PHY in Stamina Attribute 5 Turn Consecutive Use: -30 PHY in Stamina Attribute
Drawbacks: Despite the consequences of superheating, the user can refrain from using their quirk to inmate a cool down - which allows them to manage their powers for longer durations. The following is the breakdown of this quirk's drawbacks:
