Description Everyone, including the NPC civilians, have seen Jersey Shore before. In fact, these NPCs live it. They're no stranger to fights, so instead of running away, they’ll do a mixture of ignoring it and watching it. After 10 rounds some PC ("Politically Correct") fraternity brothers will try to break it up but they’ll be light weight grunts we can stunt on. 10 rounds after that, the local hero agency will receive a call from the frat. bros. They’ll come and ABSOLUTELY break up the fight. Leaving us both as losers.
The time of day is noon. It’s kind of cloudy to the rat’s disapproval. On round 15 it’ll start to rain.
We each have 48 hours to post after one another before timing out.
Chew, you may post first.
Lastly, even though this is a real fight, it's OOC. If either of us dies, it didn't actually happen. This fight is just fun filler.

Minato sat at one one of the small shops along the pier (Building A4, the southmost building) and ordered cotton candy. This came shortly after the battle at the airport.

Dawn University wasn’t a cake walk. TV failed the entrance exams and was placed into general education. From there he transfered into the management course. The teen never really wanted to be a hero anyway, all he truly desired was money. Pursuing this management career would likely be more beneficial to him in the long run. Unfortunately, he could still taste it. The bitter defeat that lingered in his mouth. A few months had passed, yet the flavor persisted. He couldn’t get over the disgrace. He needed a break.
To Coney Island, New York, he went. It was festival time. Even though he dropped by to relax a bit, TV couldn’t enjoy himself with the income dilemma his father faced at home. Every little bit makes a difference, he thought to himself as he picked out a target. This’ll be my first time, but I’ve seen others do it before. It might go smoothly.
And smoothly it went. Only a mere meter away from Minato, directly across from him on the boardwalk, a tourist taking a picture of the shore unknowingly had his wallet swiped from his back pocket. The perpetrator being a young man with a television for a head. He was now walking north of the boardwalk, counting the victims cash within the wallet. Upon close inspection, TV had a strange bulge within his pants pocket. Was he armed? This youngster was practically begging to be stopped in the name of justice. ___

"Now, laugh!"
After receiving his treat from the cotton candy dispenser, Minato and a few other visiting tourists were stopped mid-conversation at the request of a photographer. Though their talk about the history of America was interesting, they were more than happy to help out an artist in his prime. Turning back towards each other as a means to mimic a lighter conversation between close friends, the group posed for the photographer and allowed him to take his photo, all of them wondering where it would end up.
Despite the friendly act being performed, a villainous one snaked its way onto the scene not even a meter from Minato. When the photo was taken, Minato's head was turned a quarter to his right, giving way to the scene playing out at the corner of his eye. A young man, most likely a teenager, walked behind the photographer, distracted while taking another picture of the shoreline, and snagged the man's wallet straight from his back pocket. His aged showed through his intelligence when he casually took out the wallet and began to count what was inside of it.
Such arrogance, and in public, too. Minato thought to himself, his face becoming sterner by the second.
The child in question was unique among people his age. His head was a literal flatscreen television, one of the old ones that Minato had when he moved into his first apartment back in Japan. His skin was an ebony brown, something that slightly disturbed Minato. He wasn't disturbed by his race, or at least what he assumed it to be, but he was disappointed that a minority was perpetuating a stereotype. Maybe he desperately needed the money? Or maybe he was an actual criminal and simply didn't care.
I won't make assumptions on his behalf. Let's see what he's up to, Minato concluded, saying a quick goodbye to his group of newly made friends before jogging over to the young man. He placed his hand on the boy's shoulder and spoke to him with a gentle tone.

Perhaps things didn’t play out as smoothly as once thought. TV heard the jogging pitter patter of step creeping up on him through the creaky wooden boardwalk. Though he didn’t pay it any mind until the man touched his shoulder. After all, anyone could have been casually running around the festival for any reason. Especially with children roaming about. And if TV wanted to be sly, avoiding a paranoid vibe to himself would reduce suspicion. But in actuality, did it?
Nope.
The stranger invading TV’s personal space alerted him of the worst possible scenario. He saw him fuck up. That brought everything to a halt for TV. He stood in place for a moment contemplating things for a second. He actually had to deal with this before it grew out of hand.
“Did you?” He asked, though he knew the answer. Of course he did, why would he lie? How would he have known to lie in the first place? Within a fluent 180 turn to his left, his hands closed the wallet and held on to it as his right leg rose up in hopes to kick him in the chest. TV used the flat of his foot for this maneuver. If successful, this would knock him backwards onto his rump where he would have to look up to TV. “Did you really just try to steal my wallet!?”
Aside from the foot assault, TV attacked the man before him with playing the audience. He had to keep up his reputation as a Hero in order to stay at Dawn University. T’is was a strategic ploy. And who wouldn’t believe him? TV did hold onto the stolen wallet as if they were precious pearls. It looked realistic enough.
“No body step in, I’m a Hero, I’ll take this villain down.”
If he had a face, TV would be smiling right about now. Oh wait, there it was, a smug anime smile popped up onto the screen of his television. It was time to start the fight. _________ Only free form this time around.

"Did you...” The teen began, clutching to the wallet as if it was his lifeline. Minato tilted his head, slightly perplexed by his mumbling. Maybe-
“Did you really just try to steal my wallet!?”
Suddenly, the teen spun around, prompting Minato to let go of the boy and simultaneously kick off the ground, distancing himself just enough to avoid the kick that was aimed at his upper body. He managed to land a mere meter behind where he was standing, though he was unbalanced enough to fall directly on his behind. Was this kid serious? Minato may have been the only one to see him, but he could easily ask the photographer about the whereabouts of his wallet and resolve the situation immediately.
“Nobody step in, I’m a Hero, I’ll take this villain down.”
"Hey," he began, getting off the ground while turning his attention towards the photographer. "You don't have your wallet on you, do you?"
The photographer quickly patted his back pocket, shocked to find that his wallet had, in fact, been taken from him. He looked towards Minato angrily, however, the Fourth Hokage simply pointed to the boy who had actually stolen his wallet. There was no way he could act as if the contents inside of it were his, or even the design of the wallet itself.
"Hey, kid," Minato started. "I wanted to go about this the easy way but you had to make this harder on yourself. Give this man his wallet back before I have to take it from you. A real hero doesn't break the law for personal gain."
Minato realized that he didn't mark the kid while he was still holding onto him, something that he would've done under normal circumstances. The fight at the airport was clearly still on his mind, and it was severely messing with his normal thought process.
A real hero, huh? He told himself. That's quite ironic.

Good instincts oozed out of the hero who caught onto TV’s crime. It was only natural to reflexively jerk back, but nonetheless, TV was impressed. However, even though the man’s instincts were good, his technique was clumsy. He fell onto his rump just like the youngster expected him to. From there, within the moment he sat, the teen wallowed in being able to look down on his foil. This was the type of high he needed to escape from his failures. It was magnificent. He wanted more from this man.
What came next was even better. A challenge of intellect. The hero tried to expose TV by confessing the teen’s crime to the victim, a clever move. Most would have been stunned by the deceit and denied the whole ordeal. But not this one. He was a shrewd son of a bitch. TV admired that. But this object headed young blood was astute as well. Like a wily fox, he shook his head and placed the wallet in an unoccupied pocket of his. Then suddenly, his television screen flickered a video recording. This tape was a falsified memory of the fourth hokage blatantly stealing the photographer’s wallet as well as his failure to steal TV’s wallet. The crowd released a gasp.
Without a moment's hesitation, TV sprung into action when the video dimmed down to a static finish. He drew his trusty switchblade with his right hand from his right pocket, flicking it open in the process. He then swiped forward, his arm alone almost being enough to devour the pathetic meter between them. He leaned forward as he aimed for Minato’s throat at a diagonal—right to left, bottom up. Then he brought his hand down in reverse—top to bottom, left to right, still arched forward. A kick ended the combo, one aimed to face plant the hokage into the boardwalk. TV had made a 360 rotation to the right with a raised left leg. From there he hoped his talus bone struck the man’s right temple. Between each attack, TV would move with his opponents evasions to stay within melee range if the man chose to maneuver out of the way. ___

To the surprise of everyone in the crowd, Minato was "proven" to have stolen the wallet. The teen with the TV for a head managed to replay a video he had supposedly recorded when walking past the photographer, one where Minato stole the photographer's wallet and attempted to steal TV's. The problem with the video was that, obviously, Minato didn't have any pockets to quickly put the wallet in and he didn't have a stolen wallet with him, negating any chance for the TV-headed child to try to setup a more complicated lie. Likewise, Minato didnt have a wallet on himself and was simply carrying a bit of cash with him for food.
The teen didn't give him time to explain, though. Given the short distance between them, Minato was in range to be hit by any attack the TV-headed youth had in his arsenal. Deploying a simple feat of melee, his assault began with a diagonal upward swipe towards his neck from his right hand. In response to him flipping open his blade, Minato traced the initial movement of his arm and took a step back with his left foot, moving his body out of the predicted path of the swipe. As he moved, he shot his left hand forward and grabbed onto the underside of his swiping hand, immediately marking it with the energy from his Quirk. He forced the kid's arm to follow through with the swiping motion and held it in the air, finishing his move by stepping forward with his left foot and aiming a swift right knee at his torso.
Minato admired the intellectual potential the kid had, but the path he was on was clearly not a heroic one. He wasn't going to make any attempt to kill or severely injure the child, but he definitely wanted to incapacitate him if at all possible. He made the mistake of revealing a portion of his abilities to Minato as well. Fabricating reality through the screen on his head was extremely creative and could be useful for manipulating a group of people. He wasn't sure how it worked, sure, and the extent of his abilities was unknown, but getting some level of information was better than getting none at all. If things escalated, at least the boy was marked. Minato wasn't sure about what his limit was following the events at the airport, but teleporting once was all he needed to do.

Standing his ground, the yellow haired man made a subtle back step to evade TV’s first swipe. The motion was smooth… much smoother than the object headed fellow’s pick pocketing. TV was a bit envious, but overall excited over his opponent’s graceful movement. From there the foe caught his hand and held it, preventing TV’s second swipe. That wasn’t going to stop his third move however. The youth’s leg continued to raise even though he physically wasn’t able to spin around to give his strike that extra oomph of flair that he wanted.
“Tsk,” subconsciously sounded TV, breaking the focused silence he held a second ago. This wasn’t the sound of ‘tsk, tsk—disappointment’ but the tsk we often did when sucking our teeth from a misfortunate turn of events. Unintentionally, TV’s left knee had intercepted Minato’s right knee since the teen was already in the process of preparing a kick. The interception was a bit unorthodox because TV’s leg was a bit more out stretched than Minato’s. TV’s shin and talus aligned with the Hero’s, holding it up like how he held up TV’s hand. The two were interlocked with one another, discovering that would make any combatant tsk. TV really didn’t expect the man to be so swift. It caught him off guard. Just another thing the teen wasn’t fond of. “You’re kind of getting on my nerves, he—uh—v—villain...”
TV quickly corrected himself. Stammering, he flubbed up his cool one liner. What happened was, he almost called the man a hero. With the mistake, his voice cracked. But aside from that, it was slightly lower when he initiated the statement. TV was clearly growing frustrated by the man’s skill. Strangely enough, it was still exciting for him.
Fortunately, just like a moment ago when the man fell on his rump, old yellow hair’s technique was sloppy.
TV leaned forward, there was no stopping it. Both combatants were on one leg with an arm stretched out. There was no balance to be had between the two of them as TV shifted his weight. His goal was to slam the man into the boardwalk, probably injuring both of them with the reckless maneuver, but it would undoubtedly set him free of the hokage’s grasp. From there, he would naturally be on top of the man. Not once, not twice, but three times, TV would try to shank the hero in his gut with his switchblade. Of course, he used the same right hand to do this.
Ooo’s and ahh’s could be heard from the crowd as their fast paced, close quarters bout raged on. Some of the audience grew more concerned for TV’s aggressively violent approach to taking down the villain. Others thought it was interesting that TV had the same wallet as the Photographer. Likewise, some more pondered where Minato would have placed the stolen wallets. Down his pants? He didn’t have pockets. Was he truly the villain here? And then, there was some who just recorded the show with their smart phone, ‘cause why not. YOLO. ___

Though Minato was fast enough to intercept the child's swipe towards his jugular, it was clear that he hadn't anticipated another attack from his lower body. As fate would have it, their legs collide shin-to-shin and talus-to-talus, essentially interlocking their appendages at the inner junction between eachother's ankles. A narrowed look crossed over Minato's face, and it was clear that he was starting to get frustrated. He had removed his left arm from the equation when he grabbed onto the boy and his opponent stopped his entire right leg.
I'm not thinking ahead like I normally do, Minato realized, his balance starting to waver. I need to step back from this situation and approach this in another way.
"You're kind of getting on my nerves, he-"
The TV-headed teen almost immediately corrected himself.
"-uh-v-villain..."
Minato's eyes widened slightly as he heard the child's voice crack. For a fraction of a second, he had broken his character. The Namikaze already knew that he was simply portraying an emotionally grounded hero in the face of being called out for a robbery, but was his resolve that weak? Maybe he was right to paint the teen in a softer light, not only due to his age, but the nature of his actions and his inexperience.
I'm sure he's a good kid, Minato concluded. This isn't a situation where I can judge his character by a single action. Still, I'd have to get us both out of this before I could get to know him better.
Caught up in his own thoughts, Minato hadn't even realized that he released the boy and was falling towards the ground. The walking TV had used his weight and Minato's unstable stance to push him over, resulting in the Hokage landing on his back while the child loomed over him. With TV's right hand now free and Minato's left hand placed above his own head, the child held onto his switchblade and attempted to stab Minato in his abdomen.
「H I R A I S H I N : I C H I D A N」
As the child's arm came down towards Minato's left side, the Hokage disappeared from the scene, transporting his body to the left side of the TV-headed boy. He was kneeling on his right knee and aimed to swiftly pinch the stolen wallet before leaping four meters away. With TV's right hand stabbing at the boardwalk and his left hand holding up his fallen body, he would be unable to re-obtain the wallet before Minato could essentially pickpocket him. After distancing himself from TV, Minato would rise from his crouched position and hold the wallet above his head with his left hand.
(I'm assuming the wallet is in one of your left pockets since you pulled the switchblade out of your right one. The nausea will set in during the following turn).

Name: 飛雷神: 一段 · Hiraishin: Ichidan · Flying Thunder God: First Stage [x1] Quirk: Hiraishin Quirk Level: Basic Rank: Delta Experience Points: Delta [10] Type: Supplementary Range: Very Long [20 Meters] Damage: Null [0] Description: After using "Technique Formula" (術式, Jutsu-Shiki), Minato is able to use this technique to teleport to the marking he created. Minato, upon teleporting, must appear within One [1] Meter of the marking and cannot teleport into the mass of the object that he is teleporting to. For example, Minato could not teleport his arm inside of the body of an opponent even if the opponent is marked. Name: 波風の衣服 · Namikaze no Ifuku · Garb of the Namikaze Equipment Type: Costume Equipment Grade: C Stats: +5 ACC Damage: 4 HP Description: The Garb of the Namikaze consists of a blue long-sleeve and blue pants with compression technology underneath. The sleeves have two bands on the forearms and a gauze wrapped around the right leg. The garb also includes blue sandals and gauze for the uncovered portion of the lower leg. Covering the blue long-sleeve is an olive green flack jacket with three small pouches on each side of the chest, a neck guard, extra padding over the shoulders (which is fastened on by steel buttons), and a zipper down the middle. The compression technology under the garb massages the muscles as they move and improves blood flow, resulting in faster movement and more blood being pumped to the brain.
Purchasing this trait grants the bio an additional 0.5 SPM in Attack Speed. (This does not apply to any Quirks that do not require physical movement/attacking)

Creak—crinkle—thud sounded the boardwalk when both combatants lost their balance and fell. Just like what TV wanted, his arm was free. Though sore from the eccentric maneuver—he landed on his shoulder and all—TV pushed through to strike his opponent. One, two, three, all shanks drove into the boardwalk with a hefty thunk. His adversary was gone.
Wait, no he wasn’t. He was to the left of him?
Huh? Thought TV, swiftly turning to face the man kneeled beside him. He was pinching back the stolen wallet. NANI!?
From TV’s perspective, reality began to shake. The earth rumbled around him from the situation’s intensity going from right, to left so damn quick.
“Shit,” he cursed under his breath.
TV needed that money for… reasons… Reasons he wasn’t comfortable sharing… Images of his mother’s death—complex feelings on his own existence—father’s suffering—all began to flash in the back of his mind, flaring up his resolve. The teen rose up to a stand, left hand rubbing his sore right shoulder. He saw Minato right at the edge of the boardwalk with the stolen wallet held up high like a victory flag. Annoyed, he subconsciously tightened his grip on his shoulder. His aggravation made it easy for him to ignore the pain. He took a breather. Calming down the earth shattering reality he saw before him. Everything wasn’t red, and it was no longer the end of the world, just a drag he had to deal with.
From there, TV replayed the knee to knee, shin to shin, talus to talus dance they performed on his screen. “I can’t believe that happened,” he admitted before flicking his switchblade to a close and shrugging his shoulders, palms wide open. His switchblade still in his right hand. He didn’t want to cut himself with what came next.
Let’s give it a try, he thought, suddenly rushing Minato without warning. Once within melee range he raised his right knee like the hokage once did and aimed to not only strike him in the gut, but to knock him off of the boardwalk and land on top him for added insult to injury. If this maneuver was evaded, TV would simply land in a roll to avoid fall damage.
If they landed together it would have been 3 meters from the boardwalk onto the sandy beach face. And if it was only TV landing, due to his roll, it would have been 5 meters.
“Sugoi~” Awed the children playing in the sand under the boardwalk. ___
OOC: Yeah, you assumed right. This marks the end of round 5 too, just to keep us aware. Also, since you went to the exact very edge of the boardwalk I have the feeling you were trying to make me fall off? Nope, I’ll jump off my damn self. Haha.
Chew and I agreed to both take .5 dam from the fall on the boardwalk, TV has 1 damage reduction so he doesn’t lose health or armor, whatever it would have counted for.
Name: Genius Visual Learner Quirk: Television Head Quirk Level: Basic Rank: E Experience Points: 5 Type: Supplementary Range: Self Damage: 1 (When used offensively) Description: Turning an experience of his into a motion picture on his television head, TV is able to review the physical maneuvers of a selected target. As long as the maneuver is something he’s capable of doing physically (He may not learn to magically fly or to manipulate an element because that’s not his quirk), TV may mimic the technique for the rest of the thread for free (The initial post where he dedicates a turn to review the technique is the payoff for the maneuver). With this technique, if a free form attack is copied, it’s damage is equal to 1 due to this technique being E-rank. If the attack copied is higher than E-rank, it’s damage is reduced to 1 for the same reason. In addition, if the maneuver copied allots benefits, those benefits are applied to TV for the turn he decides to use the mimicked technique.
Note: When copying the technique, the user must post that actual technique and it will be used. Note: At this rank, the user is only capable of copying one technique at once.
Actual Technique: He forced the kid's arm to follow through with the swiping motion and held it in the air, finishing his move by stepping forward with his left foot and aiming a swift right knee at his torso.
Note: This first post is dedicated to learning the knee, so it’ll still be .5 since it’s like TV’s practicing the maneuver. But for now on the knee will be 1 dam.

Shortly after leaving the Airport, Minato decides to take a break at Coney Island. Unfortunately, a situation escalates there as well, and his body, having not recovered from the previous fight, struggles to keep up with his opponent.

Minato's stance suddenly began to shift, his body leaning left and right as his vision distorted. He felt a stinging pain in the back of his head, the same place where he'd fallen onto the boardwalk. He couldn't tell if he suffered a concussion or if teleportation made him nauseous, but something was going wrong in his body either way. He felt the same way at the airport after transporting himself across a floor covered in the mangled flesh of the dead. Unknown to the Namikaze, though, he was beginning to associate. The same feeling of helplessness and disgust he experienced during his previous battle had found its way into this one. Using Hiraishin was no different from reliving that situation.
Turning his attention back towards the battle, Minato watched the boy run towards him. Just as he got within a meter's range, he did a small leap to the side and watched TV fly over the side of the boardwalk. Uninterested in responding to his actions, Minato tossed the wallet back to the photographer while the TV child was still mid-flight and turned back towards the boy, attempting to stay perfectly still.

The teen was unable to look anyone on top of the boardwalk, not yet. He was embarrassed and he had to let go of that feeling. Shaking his head to free himself of the shameful emotion, he suddenly broke out into a slight chuckle. That was the sign. He was chained no more.
“The cat’s out of the bag,” he confessed, now looking up to everyone. “I’m the true villain and this is a stick up. Toss all of your valuables down here or else these children die.”
There was an awkward moment of silence. Everyone was in a state of disbelief, was this actually happening right now? And what children?
“Joey?” Called out a woman aboard the boardwalk. She had to make sure her baby was close to her after hearing such a threat. But where was he?
“Mommy?” The child answered from beneath the boardwalk. He quickly ran out to face her. That’s when TV flicked his switchblade back open. Upon seeing that, the mother’s eyes broadened seven folds. Each fold more frightened than the last. “What is the TV man talking about?”
“Well!?” TV blurted out, his voice raspy with intensity. “What will it be!? DROP IT ALL NOW OR LITTLE JOEY HERE DIES!”
The first to act was the mother, tossing her entire purse. “Don’t worry about it honey!” She responded in tears. “Save my baby!” She then demanded of the wallet returning hero.
The boy was only a meter away from the boardwalk where as TV was five. ____ Nothing
