< CRISIS SYSTEM ARRIVED! > The Crisis System has finally be constructed and release to the general public. We encourage people to test out the system and enjoy themselves in drafting grand stories capable of changing the dynamics of the Role-Play World. Understand that the system is new, thus there are some kinks to be worked out that we couldn't due to not having enough man power to test! Make sure to read the rules which are placed in the Rules and Checks section of the RP Boards.
< THE NEXT MAJOR EVENT! > The Next Major Event will arrive starting the first week of Decemeber! Why are we making this announcement so early? Because we want to provide ample amount of opportunity to warn the community to start preparing and testing out their move sets. It will be a faction event once more, which means Heroes vs Villains BUT remember that Vigilantes are now thrown into the fray. It would be utter chaos so stay tune!

Vader was dressed from head to toe as a menacing Sith Lord, his attire consisting of the heavy armament popular during the golden age of the Sith. Beneath the armor, lay a powerful man so consumed in hate that he felt little else. Shrugging his heavy shoulders, Vader peered through the fear inducing mask towards his opponent.
"You will be crushed with the Force of a Sith Lord. Surrender, and your death will be painless."
Activating his quirk as he spoke, Vader would also ignite the blade of his lightsaber, holding it in his left arm as he points it towards his opponent in order to accentuate his point.
Description: “The Force” is the technique which “activates” the quirk and allows the user to manipulate and control gravitational fields. In this case, the user becomes capable of manipulating the gravity of his own body, objects around him, or even small areas. That means he can increase or decrease the attraction between objects, alter their weight, launch projectiles, etc.
Drawbacks: Using this quirk requires intense concentration. Thus, using it for pro-longed periods of time can lead to mental exhaustion and fatigue. The technique's rank is dependent on its effects and how much total fatigue the user is caused. Interactions go as follows:
E Rank: 5%
D Rank: 10%
G Rank: 20%
B Rank: 30%
A Rank: 40%
Z Rank: 50%
Drawbacks: Though the user is capable of enough control to make sure that he can regulate the areas being manipulated, so as not to unwittingly increase his own weight, he must still use some sort of physical cue in order to initiate his techniques. So, by paralyzing the user, he becomes incapable of using the Force.
Name: Vader's Armor
Equipment Type: Costume
Equipment Grade: C
Stats: +5 PHY to Strength
Damage: N/A
Description: Darth Vader's armor was designed to maintain and protect the young Sith apprentice's body while exuding an air of intimidation and control. His suit followed an ancient Sith tradition, in which the warriors of the dark side of the Force would adorn themselves in heavy armor. The suit provided a suite of life-support systems and gave Vader relatively free movement. The suit was composed of patented durasteel, obsidian, and leather inlays, providing comfort as well as light-weight protection, giving increased blood flow to muscles.
Payment: 1,500 Gold
Name: Lightsaber Crystal
Equipment Type: Accessory
Equipment Grade: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: 0
Damage: 0
Description: The lightsaber crystal is a glowing red gem, formed through geothermal convection close to the planet’s core and then erupting to the surface with large amounts of magma during volcanic eruptions. Although capable of withstanding high levels of pressure, this crystal emits energy in response to pressure. Due to Vader’s quirk, the pressure placed onto the crystal releases energy to form a large beam protrusion from the crystal. However, it should be noted, that by itself, the energy blade formed by the crystal is almost entirely useless as the energy is unfocused and unable to deal any sort of damage. Thus, its required that further equipment is needed to properly harness the crystal.
Stock: 1
Payment: 3,000 Gold
Name: Lightsaber Hilt
Equipment Type: Accessory
Equipment Grade: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Up to 1 Meter
Damage: An Additional 0.5 Damage to Sword Base Damage
Description: The lightsaber hilt is a metallic cylinder about 28 centimeters in length. The cylinder is built to harness the energy emitted from the crystal. When the energy is emitted, it is channeled through the hilt’s focusing lens, allowing the beam to be contained as a “blade” which reaches maximum length. The blade can interact with energy based substances, cleave through heightened defenses (completely ignores damage shaving capabilities), and possesses burning type damage.
Gaunter stood casually across from the man with his shoulders squared appearing relaxed and slightly bemused. He began walking closer to the man as he spoke and raised a strange type of blade. Making no offensive actions as of yet. Gaunter would simply twirl a wooden spoon between his fingers. His quirk activating as he did this.
"Oh the force, of course! What might this force be then dear masked man? It sounds exciting"
Gaunter said with a smirk. His twirling continuing.
Name: Deal With The Devil Quirk: Illusion Quirk Level: Basic Rank: D Experience Points: Free Type: Supplementary Range: Self Damage: None Description: The user can create, shape and manipulate illusions, causing targets to see, hear, touch, smell and/or taste things which do not actually exist or cause them to perceive things differently from what they truly are. When cast in a normal illusion the victim will be unaware at first, but the illusions cannot be perfect and must contain flaws and triggers essentially for the victim to notice: These flaws must be detailed in the technique submission for each illusion. The damage of the illusions will depend entirely on the rank of the technique but the damage is always considered mental damage with the exception of psychosomatic illusions, meaning the basic illusions are not capable of destroying organs or limbs, even if they cause pain they won't disable an opponents body.
Drawbacks: All Illusions Require the User to Visibly See the Actual Target. Targets Must be of the Techniques' Ranges. Drawbacks: All Illusions Require Triggers to Cast the Illusion. All Illusions Require Flaws Noticeable in the Description. Drawbacks: At the Current Level of Mastery, the User can Only Cast One Illusion at a Time.
Name: Merchants Ensemble Equipment Type: Costume Equipment Grade: C Stats: +10 ACC Damage: 5HP Description: The merchants ensemble is a basic outfit, worn by Gaunter O'Dimm, the clothing has minimal protection but is light and loose, allowing the user to focus on his motions and movements without any hindrance or loss of mobility, this allows him to focus more on his accuracy and not waste mental effort on struggling against his own clothing in any way. Being incredibly comfortable.
Vader cocked his head to the side. His opponent was strange. There was something...off about him. Instead of preparing for battle, Gaunter simply twirled a wooden spoon. Staying on his guard, Vader gripped the hilt of his lightsaber tightly, and pointed the blade towards his opponent. The implication was clear.
"This is the last opportunity you will have to beg for your life, gnat."

"This is the last opportunity you will have to beg for your life, gnat."
"Why would someone beg for a gift freely given. No no no, that's so uninspired of you. Do you have nothing to offer worth my begging?"
Gaunter said wagging his finger, as he did so he cast an illusion in which the sith victim would see Gaunter seemingly fly in to the air above him by 8 meters, standing in the air above him and looking downwards. While in reality Gaunter was in the same place his opponent would not be able to see him here, with the optical illusion messing with his vision.
Name: Optical Illusion Quirk: Illusion Rank: D Experience Points: 10 Type: Supplementary Range: Close Damage: N/A Description: This is a simple illusion. The user places the victim/s in an illusion in which the user messes with the victims vision essentially planting false input data. This can cause the victims vision to distort or can be used to make them see things that don't really exist or to see someone with a different appearance or in a different location than before. Usages could include things such as making a victim see solid land where there is in fact a steep cliff or seeing an ally as an enemy. Unlike some illusions the victim is not paralysed in this leading to potential self harm or the harm of others.
Drawbacks: As mentioned above the illusion is not difficult to discern and can be broken more simply than high level illusions. With the victim needing to adequately describe how they determined it was an illusion in character following the rules of metagaming etc. The trigger for this move requires the victim to been looking at the user when it's cast. This illusion can also be used on lesser beings such as animals. Being more effective on them than humans since they lack the intelligence to determine the nature of illusions

As Gaunter wags his fingers, Vader's rage reaches new heights. He would not tolerate this sort of disrespect any longer. His opponent truly thought that he could insult a Dark Lord of the Sith in such a manner? Unknown to Vader, his opponent had tried to use a mental based attack on him, but his power over the Dark Side had shielded him. He began approaching his opponent at top speed while, at the same time as he begins moving, he would clench his fist, applying massive amounts of gravity towards his opponent's head/face, multiplying its weight by a factor of 50.
If Gaunter would not voluntarily kneel, then Vader would force him. It was only right for the weak to bow before the strong, lest they be destroyed. As he clenched his fist, the force of gravity around Gaunter increased dramatically. His head would feel about 50 times heavier, slamming into the ground with immense force, pressing his face down into the ground. As this happens, Vader would have been in position to attack Gaunter whilst he was trapped. Vader's would be directly parallel to Gaunter's left arm, as he stood to his side. Grasping his lightsaber in a two handed Djem So stance, Vader would then attempt to place his right foot on his opponent's back, while at the same time trying to plunge his lightsaber twice into his opponent's lower back (two free form strikes at 2.5 DMG each, dealing 5 DMG total). If his actions are successful, Vader would speak a single word to his opponent:
Name: Force Stasis Quirk: Gravity Rank: D Experience Points: 10 Type: Offense Range: Close Damage: 2 Damage Only Against Projectile Based Attacks Description: Using the force, the user is able to suddenly increase the gravity over a certain area or certain objects, seemingly multiplying their weight by a factor of 50. Anything over the area would suddenly collapse due to its new-found weight, with enough force that the ground itself would crack. The user would also be capable of using this as a defense to projectiles, assuming he had the ACC factor to be able to track them. The weighted zone that the user can create is capable of being up to 5 square meters diameter, and is based upon the user's strength factor. Though, due to the user's control, he is passively capable of making himself unaffected by his own technique (with another technique), even if he steps into his own 'zone'. Moreover, the user is able to use a more precise application, and to simply weigh down specific objects or people (as long as they are within close range).
Drawbacks: Depending on the opponent's STR, they may be able to overcome, or even disregard the weight placed. Anyone with STR greater than the user would be completely unaffected by the weight.
Drawbacks: People with STR below the user would find themselves with halved movement speed, while people with less than half of the user's strength would be unable to move completely. Due to the concentration required, this technique can only last up to two turns, and must be actively maintained by the user. This means that he must be using a physical cue the entire time that this is active (i.e having a hand outstretched).
Drawbacks: A Two Turn Cooldown is required before using this technique again.

Yeah, so Vex is in the green with this move. I'm going to take all of the points presented by Rexii and try to prove them wrong. I reviewed and reread this fight every time, but objectively I can't see how Vex made a big mistake in his move. A lot of the stuff is a reach, no disrespect, but I really don't see the issue. I may be wrong and you can get an appeal, but personally, I don't see any issues.
I believe there are mistakes in my opponents move. Namely the way he controls my biography reaction to his gravity is borderline metagaming controlling how I would be falling exactly. A reach in my opinion. Looking at the post itself, he is more describing how his technique should affect you and moving forward accordingly.
Moreover he targets it specifically around my head downwards in his post yet then runs over my prone body putting a foot on me even but also says he's not effected by his gravity despite this which should not be possible given his proximity to me. He also didn't activate his passive ability to resist his own gravity. With this, Vex wouldn't be affected by his own gravity due to the sheer fact that he isn't anywhere near the head. "Vader's would be directly parallel to Gaunter's left arm, as he stood to his side." He didn't say the side, arms nor legs, only the head. Had he used the entire zone to hold Rexii down, then he would be affected, but this specific usage the only thing being hit by the gravity is the head.
Finally his stasis ability requires him to maintain a gesture to maintain the move. He chose a closed fist motion but later in the same move places both hands on his blade meaning his fist is no longer closed and the gesture is not maintained. So the move should be cancelled assuming the above issues are not a factor. I was about to agree with this and rule you free until I read the explicit wording in the parent technique. "Drawbacks: Though the user is capable of enough control to make sure that he can regulate the areas being manipulated, so as not to unwittingly increase his own weight, he must still use some sort of physical cue in order to initiate his techniques. So, by paralyzing the user, he becomes incapable of using the Force." So by this drawback, he only needs to use it to initiate it, not maintain. I don't see any mention of him needing to keep his fist closed in order to keep the technique activated.
Like I said, this is me personally. I don't see how vex messed up, at least with the issue's you had brought to my attention. If you feel differently Rexii you can get an appeal because I may be misinterpreting the information.
Edit: Sorry, Rexii is correct. You did indeed break your technique's drawback by going for the Djem So stance. Once you go to attack with the saber, the technique is lifted and Rexii is free. Continue from that point on.
Gaunter would feel an incredible pressure suddenly envelop his head as a force was applied directly to his body causing him to crumple to the ground. Hitting the ground he would be struggling to move at first as his opponent closed in. However as the opponent placed both hands on his sword the pressure would suddenly be relieved as quickly as it appeared allowing Gaunter to roll backward to his feet swiftly. As he did so he would cast an illusion in which his opponent would see Gaunter charge directly towards him springing from the ground like a cat in an attempt to attack him. In reality Gaunter simply stood to his feet slightly further away than before still in close range wondering what that strange ability was that seemed to have no visual indicator or appearance and applied crushing pressure but without using the pressure of wind since there was no whooshing sound.
