The story continues with Gambit having learned his abilities and how they work now. His quirk he calls it Kinetic Energy Manipulation but it’s on the lines of Molecules Acceleration. Gambit is around the age of ten right now and is on spree of stealing on a raining Tuesday afternoon. Gambit is downtown New Orleans and has stolen over two thousand dollars worth of jewelry and four hundred in cash. Gambit sees a man not looking towards his direction and is sitting at a cafe outside porch with a roof that covers it from rain or any weather that can get their customers wet. The man has his back towards the street and Gambit has a thought in the back of his mind like he has seen this man before. He continues his way towards the man walks up to the man and throws one of his cards down at the footing of the man and it explodes once it touches the ground. The explosion is enough to have the man get up quickly and people walking by and in the cafe all rush towards him making sure he was okay. As the people are talking and bumping against the man Gambit rushes through the crowd and grabs his wallet out of his pocket which is one of the reasons why he exploded the card under him to determine where the man wallet was. Gambit grabs the wallet out of the pocket of the man and runs but little did he know the man felt the wallet leaving his pocket. The man was quicker than Gambit could react or move. Gambit rushes off quickly and the man he still telling everyone he is okay and rushes after Gambit. He takes the man down a dark alleyway and turns around with three cards in his right hand and they all have an aura around them showing his abilities off to the man. The man walks towards Gambit. “So you are part of the TG huh? You don’t have the answer I know the rules I am the one of created them.” He smiles and Gambit remembers where he seen the face of this man at. It was in the boss man’s office on the wall. This man was no other than “Jean-Luc LeBeau”. “By the look on your face you know exactly who I am but I don’t remember us allowing such little kids in my Guild.” Gambit gets upset because he called him a “little kid”. He throws the card and the man rushes him and dodges at the same time from the cards. He grabs Gambit hands with both of his hands and looks him right in the eyes. “Why don’t you come with me and I can show you the world and everything it has for you in store? The guys won’t care about you leaving them. They are only using you anyways. I know they can be like family but if they care for you so much they wouldn’t send you out by yourself at such an young age.” Gambit jerks his hands back and turns away from the man. He knew he was right he knew the guys didn’t really care about him but he couldn’t trust this guy right off the bat. He turns back around and the man say. “I can adopt you the legal way. Yes I know they stole you from the hospital and I can be the one to get you around the world with your own life if you so please. You can even stay in the Guild as someone who can keep the guys in line for me.” Gambit smiles and shakes his head yes.
Months and years go by with Gambit and Jean growing strong relationship and he is set up with an arranged marriage with “Bella Donna Boudreaux” the granddaughter of the head of the Assassins Guild for a pact between the two Guilds of New Orleans. Now the Guilds didn’t have any problems with this and these two were their best soldiers so these two can make a marriage work it will set the heights to a new level with each of the Guilds coming together. There was one problem and it is Bella’s older brother “Julien”. He object the marriage and only way he would give his sister’s hand if Remy dueled him to the death. Julien wasn’t part of any Guild just a normal citizen but he still cared for his sister and wanted to see her with someone that isn’t in any Guild at all. Bella didn’t like the sound of it because either men could die and she wanted to make the Guilds combine and not separate how it has been for the past decade or more. The men set the date which the two Guild’s leader agreed to allow the duel to attend. Gambit and Julien head outside of the secret disclosed location the Guilds were meeting at. Gambit stands with a firm grip on his bo staff. Jullien rushes him with a scream similar to that of a saiyan going super saiyan. Gambit pushes the top of his staff down to the right and the bottom flicks up hitting the left side of Julien’s. He acts as if he didn’t feel it so Gambit knew he couldn’t go easy on him because he was serious about killing him. Gambit had only killed people who got in the way of his missions before but not over a female but he knew what this marriage would do for the Guilds but also New Orleans.
The men fought a good six minutes and at the end Gambit killed Jullien and looked towards Bella with a blood right hand and his hand tilted down a little bit. Bella ran away crying and saying, “I don’t ever want to see your face anymore. I would have said the same to Julien if he killed you.” Gambit heart dropped when she was speaking. He felt as if he lost a wife he has married for years. The leaders of the guild gathered together and they agreed to have Gambit leave New Orleans so the Guilds didn’t have any issues between each other. Gambit knew he couldn’t beat this verdict so he agreed to leave and he went home to pack. There were three guys blocking his place which they were from Assassin Guild. One of the guys state, “I don’t care what boss man said I won’t allow you to leave here without dying first.” Gambit was worried about what anyone would say if he fought these three guys. He tried to move through them but they didn’t move at all. They held their ground so little did they know Gambit was already ahead of the game like a game of Spades. He had two card for each guy fall at the foot of theirs as he jumped back from them. He used his Quirk ability and the cards exploded. The men yell in horror. Gambit look down at the men as he steps towards them and walks over their bodies. His demeanor changes as he walks in and grabs his material he needs to take along with him.
Ten minutes later he walks out the house with the men laying there dead. He goes into the guys pocket grabbing all their money they had. “Hmm only fifty bucks, pathetic.” He grabs one of the men’s bag. He opens it up and is surprised to see that it had a lot of cocaine in the bag. The measurements he didn’t know but it did have a tag on it and notice it said a pound. He didn’t know what to do it with it because he had never sold drugs but where he is going he could meet someone he met before. He takes off to New York.
After three days, he finally has reached the New York Harbor and there is someone waiting at a bench that he talked to person on the phone to sit at. He is wearing a hoodie that hides his entire head. He is holding an envelope in his lap with his right hand over it. Gambit recognized the hoodie because this is the same hoodie he wore when he met him. Gambit sits down on the left of the man and places the bag down to right of his foot. The man slides the envelope over to Gambit and he picks it up and puts it in his coat. He stands up and walks off in the same direction he came in. He makes his way to the hotel he is staying in right now and closes all the blinds and opens the envelope up. There sliding out is a stack of cash and a paper note. The note say, “You will be working for Mr. Sinister from this point forward. I need you to gather a group of Quirks that have the ability to work alone but work as a team also. You will get another letter shortly once you gather the people for the group. I will know when you are done.” Gambit was confused on the letter but he knew one thing. Mr. Sinister doesn’t play around when he is demanding something.
