As the ability had been inactive prior to his actions, the African speculated whomever wielding this power was a mole. Intent of preventing his escape. Thus, as the two beams dashed through space towards him, he set in motion his counter. Releasing three bouts of electromagnetic energy, he let loose the waves to his immediate surrounding [above and below] & erecting a shield around himself. The collision between the two abilities triggers an explosions which obscure him. At which point he used his left hand to direct Ranger from harms way. Leaving him to confront this assailant. "You were saying?"
Amp [X2] Quirk: EM Rank: D Experience Points: 10 Type: Offensive | Defensive | Supplementary Range: Close Damage: 3.5 = 2 (Base) +1 (T'jwan) + 0.5 (Vuta) and -0.5 (Stima) Description: The combatant will trigger a minor albeit ruthless omni-directional tremor. This is achieved by electromagnetically disrupting their surrounding. Upon which EM will cause airborne and/or underground shatters. Disrupting opponent's balance whilst delivering a ruthless blend of power & technique. As the frequency aspect unleashes a wave that electrocutes and crushes everything in the environment. Underground execution results in the creation of a five meter wide crater of equal depth. Whilst airborne ones will induce a distortion of the air and reduce opponent's perception.
Drawbacks: If performed within the EM threshold this moves inflicts no expenditure. However, once EM expenditure drops below 50% usage rate will be inflicted. For every performance a 5% EM fee will be charged. Underground and Airborne execution results in a -0.5SPM in movement and perception respectively. Those exposed to either versions will recieve an electric charge; doesnt paralyze.
Ngao Quirk: EM Rank: D Experience Points: 10 Type: Offensive | Defensive Range: Close Damage: 3.5 = 2 (Base) +1 (T'jwan) + 0.5 (Vuta) and -0.5 (Stima) Description: The combatant through the magnetism aspect of EM conjures stronger magnetic fields. These fields are manipulated to produce a translucent force field. At which point it can be used one of two ways. The first is defensive which involves creating a protective shield. Attacks of equal rank will be nullified & stronger one's made less potent. Successful attempts to breech the field will result in an explosion with a (potential) three meter knock-back. Due to (reversed) polarity parra/ferro-magnetic targets will experience resistance. Resulting in their repulsion with a force dealing damage equal to the move's rank. In-order to resist the full effects of the knockback or repulsion targets STR needs to be 10 more than the user's own. The second is offensive. Through remote activation, the user can create barriers around targets. Giving the ability to contain & crush them in a controlled explosion. Targets successfully exposed to either variation will be magnetized for three turns.
Drawbacks: The magnetic force field can withstand damage lower or equal to itself. Stronger attacks will disperse the barrier. Individuals with at least 10PHY strength superiority (to the user) can withstand knockback and/or repulsive force. Barrier conjuration is an accuracy trait.

To be frank, Derek’s plans weren’t coming to fruition as quickly as he had hoped they would but no matter. Whether it was becoming a drag or not, this was now his only hope. As the African intruder seemed to notice the high speed beams of light approaching his person despite his back being turned to Derek, told him this man had some form of sensory, whether technology or quirk based. Derek would have to find a way to disrupt it.
As a tremor was released from his adversaries body outward, Derek would quickly make his way to the other side of the room. Keeping safe distance between himself, and the explosion of light and tremors. As Derek, now positioned at a distance of six and a half meters or so away from his opponent, he would activate his Azure Dragon and White Tiger Shurikens, pressing the buttons simultaneously to activate high frequency sounds that would ring out across the room (thankfully Eclipse would protect him from the auxiliary effects). As the effects took place, Derek would release three beams of light from his person (left and right thigh, and shoulder) towards the chest of M’sondaa which would essentially knock him on his ass.
He would then turn to face Siyanne who seemed to be screeching madness, “As you can see, this man entered your home with the intention of stealing your father's belongings, and freeing your hostage. Seeing as how you are member of the Lucas, I don’t think your father would take lightly to people testing him, nor the idea of his children allowing intruders to steal from him. You had me here as a prisoner, with the intent of executing me. Here I am capturing a thief in your home, am I to expect no gratitude?”
Name: Shining Heaven • Amaterasu Quirk: Photokinesis/Light Embodiment Quirk Level: Basic Rank: D Experience Points: None Type: Supplementary Range: Close Damage: None Description: A technique that serves as both parent and precursor to the Light Embodiment Quirk. Its acquisition provides the individual with the ability to transform their own body into light [the speed of transforming is based on ACC] and manipulated light for offensive and defensive capabilities with aided equipment. Through the manipulation of said light, the user can create beams, waves, blasts and constructs composed of this hard-light energy. The light can burn and melting both enemies and objects, the user can also manipulate the light itself for various effects. While in light form, the user is granted immunities to all conventional attacks. Lastly speed of the light is determined by the user’s movement speed whether its strength and speed.
Drawback: When the user is intangible, everything passes through them – this includes things like light, sound, and even air. Consecutive use poses issues:

Name: Sword of the Gathering Clouds • Kusanagi x3 Quirk: Photokinesis/Light Embodiment Rank: E-B (D) Experience Points: 85 Type: Supplementary/Offensive/Defensive Range: Close-Long Damage: 1-4 DMG | +0.5 - +1 Bonus SPM (+1.5 DMG) Description: Sword of the Gathering Clouds is the universal technique of the Light Embodiment Quirk. This technique refers to the creation of beams and blasts. The user through this ability is capable of releasing omni-directional blasts of light energy, create light energy bullets, etc etc by transforming and releasing this energy through their costume or equipments. The energy released is dependent on the users strength attribute. The G rank version can be used four times per battle, while the B rank version can be used three times per battle.

Name: Morningstars Equipment Type: Accessory Equipment Grade: C Type: Offensive/Supplementary Range: N/A Damage: 3 HP | +0.5 DMG to enemies upon physical contact and appropriate de-buff depending on the shuriken type. Description: Morningstars are a unique set of shurikens, the shurikens are capable of releasing high-frequency sounds through a mechanism built within the shuriken. There are four types of shuriken, all capable of releasing high frequency sounds, but at slightly different pitches and tone's that cause certain effects. These high frequency sounds can be triggered by the button in the center or upon landing against a physical surface and will go on for the entirety of the turn. Apart from the sound released from the shurikens the user can launch these shuriken towards the enemy or entities to cause physical damage. The extent of which the user is capable of launching these shuriken is entirely dependent on the user's physical abilities namely his accuracy.
- White Tiger: This shuriken is capable of releasing high frequency sounds that can effect the user's equilibrium and balance causing vertigo and stunning the enemy upon use. This shuriken effectively debuffs the enemies speed stat by -5 PHY.
- Black Turtle: This shuriken is capable of releasing a high frequency sound that can induce the enemy into deep fatigue, effectively weakening their strength resulting in the enemies strength stat to drop by -5 PHY.
- Azure Dragon: This shuriken is capable of releasing a high frequency sound at a certain tone capable of inducing queasiness, this queasiness makes the enemy more susceptible to enemy attacks resulting in the enemies stamina stat to suffer a -5 PHY debuff.
- Vermilion Bird: This shuriken is capable of releasing high-frequency sounds that are especially damaging and harmful, causing the enemies ears to bleed and making them essentially deaf for three turns. This shuriken effectively debuffs the enemies accuracy stat by -5 PHY.

Name: Nova Plate Equipment Type: Accessory Equipment Grade: C Type: Supplementary Range: Self Damage: 3 HP | +0.5 DMG to quirk based techniques Description: Nova Plate is a unique panel placed on the chest of the user. This panel is similar to that of a solar panel used to power homes and even buildings. The panel however is quite compact and is a little bit bigger than the size of a baseball. The circular plate is actually powered by a short cylindrical battery inserted into the users body much like a cybernetic addition. The panel however is still exposed to the sun outside the users body. This plate is capable of drawing UV rays from the sun, and then distributing this energy throughout the wearers body. Due to the wearer being capable of transforming their body into light, and channel this light to release beams and attacks. This additional energy is capable of enhancing both the raw physical capablities and power of the quirk. This plate can store this energy throughout the day, meaning even at night the user is still capable of reaping the benefits of this gadget. This equipment was manufactured through nano-technology capable of replicating portions of the users DNA, in order to manufacture this gear. Thus enabling the user to phase alongside and with this equipment.

Name: Nova Plate Trait Point Cost: 8 Description: A unique trait that is rooted in the photokinesis/photon-physiology quirk. Due to the users unique abilities regarding light physiology and photokinesis and their bodies natural conditioning to that of natural ultra-violet rays the user has become quite accustom to this light. Being able to even draw power from this light in order to increase the damage of quirk based techniques as well as the speed and the users overall capabilities. Despite the users unique adaptation to this radiation, the user is incapable of actually drawing this light into his body. Which is why the user is capable of creating equipment and gadgets made in order to draw this light into their system. This gear is called a Nova Plate, and it is capable of drawing ultra violet rays from the sun and storing it, it is capable of distributing this energy through the users body and utilizing this additional energy to increase the raw power and range of both his transformation and attacks. This energy is also capable of enhancing the natural physical abilities of the user due to having conditioned oneself to this radiation, in addition to their unique physiology the rays have actually taken on an empowering effect. In essence, this plate can be likened to a charger giving the user added benefits in battle. The UV rays emitted from beams and the user upon transformation are capable of debuffing enemies within range. However, in order to fully attain the benefits of this trait the user must create the necessary equipment, as the user is incapable of drawing light to his body. These benefits only occur in conjunction with the transformed body or body part, and should the equipment be destroyed the added benefits are lost as well.
Supplementary Gains: Nova Plate contributes to +1 DMG to quirk based attacks and cannot stack with other DMG boosting traits. The user is incapable of drawing light to his body without the Nova Plate. Nova Plate grants +1 meter to the range of quirk-based attacks. Nova Plate contributes +1 SPM to Projectile Related Quirks. Nova Plate grants increased debuffs to techniques by -5 PHY.

An anomalous shriek enveloped the room, no doubt the undertaking of M'sondaa's dirty dread hooligan. The man's wanton disregard for moderation, an unsolicited plea of desperation. From their brief encounter the African was slowly discerning the scope of his abilities. Thus, as the new set of light techniques darted toward him, he was resolute. Choosing to twirl his index finger thrice {Freeform]. Each revolution releasing his abilities' energy fields, bent to give rise to a helix that surrounded the individual laser beams. At which point he let the beams travel, reaching three meters before he detonated them. Subsequently, he uses the brilliant flash created by the exploding beams of light as the impetus to angle himself into his prior crater. A feat easily achievable by rescinding the strength of the polarity which had allowed him suspend until then.
Allowing him to drop four meters into the ground and move two & half meters forward. To help gauge the destructiveness of the enemies power, he simultaneously applied a magnetic shielding to observe how much residual damage reaches him [Ngao]. At this point the opponent had ceased his assault, shifting his attention to the room's guard. Capitalizing on the moment of distraction, M'sondaa produced waved to give to a subterranean douse of electrical current [Mawe]. Its volatile sparks diagonally sprouting, two earthen columns three meters before his enemy (Pair One), two more vertically situated three meters underneath his feet (Pair Two). There was meters between each paired column. Nevertheless these earth crumpled into his constructs, M'sondaa would trigger two independent electromagnetic bursts, using one subterranean and surface earthen column as center of origin respectively. Naturally this would eviscerate everything (6.5 meters) ahead of M'sondaa. For his final act M'sondaa clasped his fist [FF], tightening his grip [FF] to force all nearby fields to come crashing inwards and crunch any metallic material that stood in its path.

Mawe Quirk: EM Rank: D Experience Points: 10 Type: Offensive | Defensive Range: Close Damage: 2 Description: The combatant will via a series of limb and/or weapon movement(s) discharge an electric current onto the ground. Volatile explosive sparks will traverse the ground forcing it to crack & erupt. Eruption occurs in various means, each with different outcomes. Vertical eruptions create blades that spike up and cover a five meter diameter from the origin. Horizontal eruptions produce cuboid columns. Diagonal eruptions result in cones that are two meters long. The attack deals a good amount of damage to anything in the vicinity and can be used to prevent incoming attacks. Furthermore, the blades, cuboid and/or columns receive a charge and as such are susceptible to magnetism. The same applies to targets that physically come into contact with them. (PIC)
