< CRISIS SYSTEM ARRIVED! > The Crisis System has finally be constructed and release to the general public. We encourage people to test out the system and enjoy themselves in drafting grand stories capable of changing the dynamics of the Role-Play World. Understand that the system is new, thus there are some kinks to be worked out that we couldn't due to not having enough man power to test! Make sure to read the rules which are placed in the Rules and Checks section of the RP Boards.
< THE NEXT MAJOR EVENT! > The Next Major Event will arrive starting the first week of Decemeber! Why are we making this announcement so early? Because we want to provide ample amount of opportunity to warn the community to start preparing and testing out their move sets. It will be a faction event once more, which means Heroes vs Villains BUT remember that Vigilantes are now thrown into the fray. It would be utter chaos so stay tune!

Hiku wandered down the city streets, his hands tucked in his hoodie pockets. Ah... What a nice day... Sun was shining, sky was clear... Nothing was going on. It was a while after school he decided to go on this walk, choosing to take a short break from his studies. Nobody got anywhere by cramming for hours, right? Well... Maybe there was another reason too. He might or might not have bent the truth to his parents, telling them that he had, in fact, finished his work for the night all in an effort to get out of the house and away from them. They've been getting on his back ever since he'd been accepted to the hero-academy, practically DEMANDING he do well! Ugh... Sometimes were easier to bear than others... This was not one of those times. SO! In line with him taking a well deserved break, Hiku began wandering through Manhattan, quietly beatboxing to an old song he'd long since forgotten the name too... He had been taking a number of different roads on his route, weaving in and out of the main ones, in and out of the various alley paths.
"Ugh..." He grunted as he passed through one of these various alley-paths, his nose scrunching in disgust. "What they need in this city aren't heroes, but garbage men..." It was true... He didn't even want to think about how much trash piled up back here behind all the stuff he could already see! Almost make him regret taking extra time on this walk...
"Whatever... I'll go a little farther then head home... Mom's probably already checked my work over by now." He smirked at that, laughing at the hell that surely awaited him. Zealous parents made for the kind that denied privacy. They wanted you to succeed SO bad, they couldn't help but take the steering wheel more than often. At least, that was his observation. And that was why his mother would more than certainly summon the pits of hell to drag him away to his punishment... Any moment left not studying was a wasted moment, they say. He sighed heavily, then let out a soft chuckle as he stepped out into the main road again, integrating with the twin seas of people flowing too and fro. At least he had a couple moments...
*BOOM*
Hiku stopped, as did some others as the sound of a mighty crash sounded off in the distance... Craning his neck around, Hiku peered behind him over the heads of the still moving sea, trying to catch a glimpse of the origin of that noise... His eyes narrowed suspiciously, turning fully around as the air fell heavy, quiet, as another, similar crash sounded off... closer... Okay. No. That was not a coincidence or a one-time thing. By now, the crowd of people had long since stopped, most of them looking back the same way, scratching their heads, confused. Hiku was already shoving his way past most of them, doing his best to not throw people down but he couldn't much afford to waste time either!
That's when the screams started to pierce the air... Hiku quickened his pace, no longer caring for etiquette, pushing and shoving his way through the crowd and even using his quirk to send vortexes of air beneath the soles of his feet, allowing him to bond up and OVER a wall of stagnate onlookers, unable to see what they were all staring at... until he landed right in front of what they were staring at...
Within a wide 60 meter circle of stupidly curious citizens, stood perhaps the biggest man he had ever seen, his body warped by his quirk no doubt. He could only be described as having the body-shape of a gorilla, with an engorged upper-body and elongated, overstimulated arms while his lower body seemed to suffer the opposite effect, being shorter and weaker. He stood on all fours, his weight pushed onto his knuckles and even so, he... uh... was at least as large as Hiku was standing straight up! He wore a crudely crafted metal eye-mask strapped to his face, his outfit consisting of torn, overalls with one strap broken and hanging loose. He wore a plaid long-sleeve with mountain boots below and a hard-hat on his head, his mouth foaming... almost rabid. In one hand, he held a woman to his chest, the other used to support his disproportionate form, the... uh... "villain" snarling ferally at the hoodie-wearing hero-in-training. He stood only a hand-full of meters before the boy... Threateningly close.
"So... Uh... You're a villain...?" Hiku questioned, glancing to the girl in his grip, then back to him. Hiku stood cool, visably undisturbed by this... unnerving human mutation but on the inside, he was on the verge of freaking out! Or being sick. OR BOTH! Between this guy's uncanny appearance and the hostage in his grip, he was afraid to even attack the guy, let alone attempt a rescue! No doubt the other heroes would be here soon but for now, he needed to stall... make sure nobody else would get hurt...
This is the job you wanted, Hiku.... Relax.... Do your job.
He raised up his hands in a seemingly submissive manner, slowly approaching "man".
"Why don't you let the girl go, huh...? Make this easier on everybody..."
A loud pop could be heard originating from a short-statured girl, chewing gum, making her way through the streets of New York. The people and cars unruly to those around them, unintentionally competing with each other. The smell of the city was as pungent as normal. The smell of vendors selling food collided with the fuel from the many passing cars, creating a pleasant, yet very unpleasant experience. Go Go had become accustomed to this.
Wanting to take a break from her assignments, Go Go decided to go for a stroll. She was a smart girl but the work assigned could become too much for even her. Not that it was too hard, but the assignments never stopped here at Dawn. Every other day there was a mountain of work with her name on it due for the next day. Even with all of this, she never once complained. This workload was necessary for quality heroes to be produced and she knew it.
*BOOM*
A loud crash caught Go Go's attention. The girl's head on a swivel, she quickly located the source. Without hesitation she dashed to the location. Civilians would clash in her direction, but she effortlessly glided through the sea of humans. This was thanks to the training she received at Dawn. One of the first things they force you to do is deal with crowds of scared civilians. Either relocating the bunch or getting straight to the criminal. These methods varied depending on what type of quirk you possessed. Those with offensive minded quirks would head to the criminal, and those like Go Go would be tasked with crowd control. However, if there were no other heroes available on site, the supplementary quirk users were tasked with subduing the villain.
Go Go would arrive and spot the source of that crash. A car would be emerging from a store window, and the person that she assumed threw it stood meters before her. A man equipped with a hoodie would have arrived to the scene. Upon further inspection the boy was a Dawn student. She knew this because they had classes together.
She decided to slowly approach before coming to a stop, all the while staying out of the beasts sight. Go Go would wait and see if the boy could talk him down.
Well! On the plus side, he got the help wanted! On the bad side, it wasn't the help he needed. A girl pushed her way through the crowd, coming to a silent stop behind the villain. So preoccupied with Hiku was he, the villain did not notice her taking up position behind him, apparently looking to help!
The girl seemed to approach from behind, managing to keep out of sight of the man as she got closer, also seeming not to notice Hiku's eyes trail her movements....
What's she doing...!? This is NOT the time... Wait... I know her... The boy's lips flickered into a small smile as he recognized the girl sneaking up behind the massive ape-man! She was a part of his class, wasn't she!? Well that changed things!... Not much, though. He knew not her quirk, her skill with it or even her name for that matter. He kept to himself and hardly interacted with his mates normally... He was now paying for that mistake... Whatever. He was just going to have to trust her and hope she could knock him out or at LEAST free the girl before he caught on... If she couldn't do that, the captive woman was boned...
The villain himself was growing anxious as Hiku approached him, the man's muscles tensing, sweat running down his ape-like brow as his fingers loosened and tightened around his victim. He pulled her to his chest possessively, almost as if he were declaring that he was hers and that nobody shall separate them... How creepy... Hiku scrunched his brow in thought, contemplating what would happen if he were to shoot the goliath in the forehead with his Pistol-Shot... Might hurt him... Might even stun him... but make him drop the girl? He couldn't be sure. In a situation like this, uncertainty was as good as a dead hostage. Aero Punch to the underside of his wrist...? Maybe... If only he could get a clear shot.. And then there was a manner of how fast this guy was... Tch. They knew too little and they didn't (or at least he didn't) have the power to feel comfortable in that position!
"Listen... Nobody here has to get hurt, capiche? Just let the girl go and... well... My job will be a lot easier." The man didn't seem to like the sound of that! Or... rather... he did. The man's twisted face curled into an gnarled, amused smile as he reared up on his back legs before crashing down, slamming his free fist down at Hiku with deadly intent! Acting fast with luck on his side, the would-be hero let off a gust of wind from his feet, propelling him to the side just in time for the hand to BARELY miss crushing his entire body to paste, the concrete where he once stood cracked and shattered.
"Ooooooooh boy..." Hiku sighed, a cold shiver arching up his spine. "Here we go..."
You better take advantage of this... I can't play cat-and-mouse for long!
"Listen... Nobody here has to get hurt, capiche? Just let the girl go and... well... My job will be a lot easier."
He must have skipped "hostage negotiation" class. Go Go murmured to herself sarcastically. Not being able to see the beasts facial expressions while behind him, his actions did the talking. He would slam his fist in the pavement in response to the boy's demands; the boy would manage to dodge by using what appeared to be his quirk.
Wind? That's just great! His quirk literally blows mines away!
Go Go let out a barely audible sigh. Her frustration was justified. She would have to work with a person she's never interacted with, to take down a villain with a hostage, and his quirk counters her's. And, to top it all off, her suit was left in her dorm. Go Go rolled her eyes before taking out her piece of gum and flicking it. Time to woman up.
Go Go immediately sprang into action. Clearly reasoning with the ape was not going to work. Despite all we were taught to believe, only violence would solve this issue. Go Go would quickly approach from behind. As she did so, she would inhale and hold her breath for a split second. Upon exhaling, a ball of smoke would be fired outward towards towards the beasts location. Once it came in contact with him it would explode, covering about 10 meters in diameter. While this would infact obscure Go Go's vision, it would do more to affect the beast. The plan was for him to drop the lady so they could fight him straight up. The smoke would also affect the hostage, but if Go Go managed to get her out then it'll be worth it. Since she continued he previous path before blinding herself, she would come in contact with the beast. Snatching the woman out of his arm, she would Immediately dash backwards in the opposite direction.
Blow my smoke away now and finish him! Go Go yelled back as she got the hostage to safety.
Yeah... Negotiation wasn't his strong suit. In any case, the girl made her move, creating a large smoke-bomb that encompassed them all! Well... Wasn't THAT great? SMOKE! Were he in his costume, this wouldn't have been a problem. His mask had a filter that cleared out all toxins and pollutants that would normally make it hard to breath. While normal smoke-bombs weren't that much of an irritant, the way his quirk worked made it a threat to his health, seeing as his skin helped absorb and process air the way his lungs did!
If there was one good thing to come out of all this is that the distraction caused by the smoke-bomb allowed the girl to take the woman from the ape-like man's hand, freeing up Hiku to go on the offensive!.... in this toxic environment! He was literally holding his breath, seeing as absorbing 5 meters of smoke would be harmful to him... but he didn't have a choice here! He had to take this guy down while he was distracted! Suddenly, the air around Hiku began to warp and shift, rotating around him like a vortex, converging on his body! Smoke, air, it all appeared to be sucked in through his mouth, nose, skin, filling up every part of him that could hold the air.... A massive chunk of the smoke-bomb disappeared inside Hiku as he rushed down the confused villain, his face strained... turning blue as forced down the cough that was building in his throat! He had to breath to use his attacks! He couldn't just manipulate wind! What did she think he was, some kind of fire-manipulator!? Throwing himself at the man, he extended his hand into his face, actually forcing it down his throat as all that air he had absorbed, all that spoke... was forced down his throat and into his lungs! He was careful not to expel all of it, seeing as he could literally pop his lungs, but instead, the rest blowing out his other hand, leaving the young hero GASPING for the clean(...er) city air he was forced to breath on a regular basis! The Villain instantly recoiled, Hiku ripping his hand free as the man fell on his back, grabbing at his throat and hacking out the smoke forced down into his chest! Left vulnerable, the smaller hero took a deep breath, a small vortex appearing on his hand as he sucked in some more clean air before jumping back into the fray, landing on the man's chest, this time leveling a finger at his forehead.
"Boom..." Her grunted, a small air-bubble EXPLODING from his fingertip, shooting down into the man's face and into the bridge of his nose, striking with enough force to break it inward slightly! Between his lungs and his nose, the trauma forced the villain's body slack, Leaving Hiku gasping for air on top of him.... "...Head-shot..." Covering the man's mouth once more, he cautiously sucked out the remaining smog that lingered around down there, cringing at the sensation of the foreign breath passing through his skin-membrane and into his body... God... so deep and... disgusting... did this guy ever brush his TEETH!? With all the smoke expelled through Hiku's other hand, the villain began to breath normally, looking back towards the girl who had helped him, gesturing for her to come to him. There was no way he was gonna be the only one explaining what happened to the cops. He didn't have the energy for that.
"Yo... Appreciate it if you stick around." He asked, glancing down at the behemoth he climbed off of before looking back up at her. "I... uh... Don't want to be the only one explaining this to the police if you don't mind."

"I'm a Hero by trade so naturally, your safety is my primary concern. However, do not mistake my job for personal attachment." -Hiku
Go Go ushered the damsel in distress away from the raging ape behind them. The lady, obviously a little rattled from the smoke, suffered through a minor coughing fit. Go Go was not concerned as it would stop eventually. All that mattered to the purple and black haired girl was that the lady was safe and sound.
Thank *cough* you miss.
With a smile and a nod she would quickly turn back around. Go Go intended to help finish off this so called "villain", however her help was not needed. Where the boy lacked in hostage negotiations, he more than made up for in strength. Within seconds the bad guy would be down for the count. While she missed the majority of the quick battle, she did manage to catch the tails end of it. Relieved that things were resolved quickly, she let out a audible sigh. Things finished up just in time too. A squad of police cars had just arrived to the scene; their sirens yelling at everyone nearby. Go Go walked over to the boy once more to wrap things up here, and also see if he was okay.
"Yo... Appreciate it if you stick around." He asked, glancing down at the behemoth he climbed off of before looking back up at her. "I... uh... Don't want to be the only one explaining this to the police if you don't mind."
Ugh...sure. Go Go pulled another stick of gum out of her pocket before popping it in her mouth. The look of annoyance spread across her face now erased. This was going to tedious.
