After successfully raiding the rich, Aaron set his sights on gaining a bit of recognition in the New York city police department. This would not be easy, but once he massacred a few police, he was sure the Hero Association would send hero's out to capture him, but on the flip side, this would be a beacon for villains, to come to him, for he was willing to act, to rip the old down and build a new, safer society, with less for profit hero's and more Hero's who save lives for the sake of saving. For Aaron, killing a few to save many was an easy concept to comprehend, for the need of many outweighed the need of few. Standing up from his chair, Aaron signaled his few helpers to bring in the hostage he had had his men acquire while he was busy getting money. Worthless scum, sat kneeled before him. His men had found this one breaking into a car, a petty thief with no quirk to speak of, or at least, not a useful one. Nothing had manifested from him since his capture, meaning he was the perfect bait to bring the police to Aaron. Kneeling down himself, Aaron brought his face to mans as he spoke, calmly to him.
Hello, young one. My name, is The Demon King, and you've been granted the pleasure of being the spark that lights my way. Relish in these last moments, because once the sun set's, you'll fall into eternal darkness.
Tears welled up in the mans eye's, knowing full well what his fate was going to be. Standing back up, Aaron would walk calmly towards the window on the side of the warehouse. The sun was setting, and light rays exposing his face, a peaceful bliss crossing it. Inside him Cautare was silent. The beast was always silent when he knew that a fight was coming, almost like he was preparing, somehow, to get the most out of it. Aaron, however, was just happy to be in a new city, ready to meet new powerful allies, and attempt to change the world. Turning away from the window, Aaron raised a single hand, and from his palm, a black matter shot forth, wrapping itself around his hostage, before dragging the mans body towards Aaron. As it was dragged towards him, Aaron walked towards an nondescript white van, which had been stolen, and threw the mans body into the back, still wrapped in the black matter. Climbing into the passengers seat, Aaron motioned for the man in the drivers seat to get moving, heading towards an abandoned construction site on the other side of town. Here, Aaron's stand off would commence.
Due to heavy traffic, the drive took almost two hours, so much stopping and starting, but besides that, the drive was uneventful. Arriving at the site, it was exactly how Aaron had been explained. Not a single light shined from the site, it was pitch black, and honestly terrifying. No where within screaming distance looked safe, and this spot alone was ominous, the tall deserted building casting an even darker shadow into the darkness below, it was the perfect place to lure many to their deaths. Climbing out of the van, Aaron grabbed the hostage, and dragged him into the center of the abandoned site. Without word, the matter the man was wrapped in inverted, crushing the man into a pulp. Not a single sound was heard, as the matter itself absorbed all the noised, but as it melted away, a bloody mess was left. Had Aaron not done it himself, he swore that it no longer even looked like a human corpse, but it mattered not. Pulling out a cell phone his men had picked up, Aaron dialed 911, and spoke calmly to the operator.
911, what was your emergency?
I've just witnessed a man shot and killed. I'm in hiding, the man appears to have several hostages. He's at the abandoned building site a few blocks away from the Bank of America on third street. Please, send help
Ok sir, please, remain calm, I've dispatched several squad cars, please remain hidden and wait for assistance.
Aaron cared little, hanging up the phone and absorbing it into his hand, sending it into the realm of Cautare, who, after several hours of silence, finally broke through it.
I guess, it's time to let bodies fly, huh, Aaron?
You know i take no pleasure in killing people Cautare. These men are doing a job, a good job, whether they're corrupt or not, in their own way, they are helping, and i am about to kill them all for the sake of sending a message, this is not supposed to be fun.
Doesn't matter to me what your moral compass is Aaron, as long as you keep feeding me, i'll keep fighting for you, plain and simple.
Smiling softly downwards to himself, aiming for Cautare, Aaron knew it was time for him to really release the Demon. Sitting on large dug up rock, Aaron allowed himself to center. Locking his emotions away, and fully calming his heart, bringing it to a steady beat. He took no pleasure in what was about to do, but it was necessary.
It took almost no time, maybe ten minutes, for three squad cars, each with two to three police officers inside, to arrive on the scene. Each car screeched into the empty lot, their headlights highlighting two things. Firstly, in a bloody messed in the center, what appeared to be a human body, beaten and crushed beyond recognition. The second, a man, with horns, covered in black, smiling towards them. The first officer to get out hid behind his car door, drawing his gun, he screamed out to Aaron.
PUT YOUR HAND UP NOW! WE WILL NOT HESITATE TO SHOOT!
Aaron slowly, raised both his hands into the air, not once breaking eye contact with the officer. Quickly, the other officers clambered out, all drawing their guns and aiming them at Aaron. Little did they know, it would have no effect. All the men had a small pin on their chest, which apparently signified that their quirks where only to be used as a last resort, or that they where not offensive quirks. Again, it mattered not. Slowing sliding down to the ground, Aaron kept his hands up, as two officers slowly inched closer. The closest one, slowly pulled out handcuffs from his belt, as he inched towards Aaron's raised hands. Waiting for the last possible second, Aaron unleashed Cautares wrath, Rashoman. From his hands, shot two slivers of black matter, hitting both men in the neck. Blood shot out, hitting Aaron, and the immediate area, as gun shots rang out. Shifting the matter, Aaron used the two officers as shields to block the shots, while also converting the matter into its absorbing form. The two men, from the neck injury and now, multiple bullet wounds, where dead. As the matter transitioned, the two men where absorbed into the dark realm, leaving nothing behind. Aaron could hear shouting, but his mind had cleared, focusing now on only removing the threat. Creating a circle of matter in front of him, Aaron ran straight at the closest police car. The disc would hit the car, absorbing it, and removing the officers cover. As the man tried to scramble away, The disc's shape would harden, before multiple spikes would shoot forwards, impaling the man multiple times, and killing him near instantly. More shots rang forth, as the matter spread around Aaron, covering him from multiple angles like a dome. As the shots stopped, Cautare was now fully ready. From the dome, the matter sprung forwards, indiscriminately branching forwards, with no real target, striking and piercing everything in the vicinity, killing the remaining officers before they could reload.
Suddenly, nothing but silence. The flashing blue and red brought Aaron back to himself, glancing around, seeing the carnage, he dropped to his knee's. Grabbing his face with his right hand, Aaron shook slightly as tears welled up in his eyes. Eight dead, why, did they have to send so many good men to die. Aaron's tears painted the ground as he wept, the demon inside him laughing at the carnage it had produced. Aaron sat there for what felt like eternity, but knew he had to get himself together to finish his objective, or these men would have died for nothing. Walking over to the closets officer, Aaron grabbed the mans radio and dialed up, calling the response unit.
Officer down. Seven dead, send help. I heard him say, he was the Demon King. His quirk...is too stro...
Aaron crushed the radio in his hand, using Rashoman, to increase the response time for the police force. Now, Aaron would have to run, to escape the likely army sized response unit to arrive. However, from a story up, Aaron felt the presence of someone watching him. Turning around, Aaron saw a man, African decent bald head and an expensive looking suit staring down at him. Aaron didn't have to ask, as the man spoke first.
Kid, that was brutal. However, your meltdown afterwards showed you aint no killer boy, whats your name?
Aaron was hesitant, but at the same time, the man radiated power, and at this point, after releasing his emotions, Aaron doubted he could fight back at the moment. Clearing his throat, he spoke.
Aaron Turner. My Villain name, is The Demon King. Who are you?
My name, Is Tony Lucas, maybe you've heard of us?
Aaron had heard of the Lucas family, ones not to cross, along with a few others. Before his arrival, Aaron had also heard that the Lucas family had been utterly defeated by the Fang organisation, but it seemed Tony was still hopeful. Nodding to Tony's question, the man spoke again.
Thought so, how about, you join us. I like you kid, even if i happened to stumble across you, a killer who doesnt want to kill, is interesting, how about it, want to join the Lucas family?
A real offer, from a powerful man. Aaron had planned to do it all alone, but it would take years. Using the network of an already set up family, would speed up his plans ten fold, and the power in the Lucas family could also help him get stronger. Looking up to Tony, Aaron spoke.
It would be...beneficial to me, to come with you for now, Mr Tony Lucas.
The man smirked, and as he did, the area around Aaron warped, and just as the sirens were heard, Aaron found himself somewhere else, where, he was unsure.
