With a final twist of the key, Haoquin locks his house as he sighs. Throwing on the hood of his jacket the male turns on his heal and begins to jog south. The male sported a dark hoodie, some grey sweatpants, and some sneakers. It was about 10 o'clock at night and it was slightly raining. Living in the slums of Chicago it was easy to get lost but Haoquin knew the area like the back of his hand. The crimson-haired male was so familiar with his surroundings he could estimate the number of steps it would take him to reach his destination. Haoquin allowed the sound of his footsteps colliding with puddles to be his soundtrack for the night. Oddly enough he seemed to be the only one out tonight. That wouldn't be a too much of a problem, considering what Haoquin was about to do. Approaching the end of his street, he takes a sharp right and begins to sprint full speed. He nears a fence that was roughly a head taller than him. With a single hand reaching the top railing, Hao vaults over the fence and continues to sprint. He allows his mind to drift as he continues to near his destination.
"What do you mean you're disbanding the gang??? Who are you to make that call?" an angry voice shouted at Hao.
"Not only am I the old man's son.. but I am also the second command. The boss is dead...so I step up and my first and final order is the disbandment of the gang." Hao said in a calm voice.
"You're only his adoptive son Hao. This gang is all some of us have...our only source of income. There is a handful of us who don't have a family...DAMN IT THIS GANG IS OUR FAMILY. Now you're telling me you want us all to go our separate ways." The voice grew louder.
"I never said the members couldn't associate with each other after disbandment. What I am saying is our collective group will be no more. Our last mission nearly costed a number of us our lives. We have dozens injured and our leader dead. We outta leave the villain fighting to the heroes and the illegal stuff to the villains. As for those who need a job I have already talked to an adherent of ours. He will employ them and their financial income will be slightly better than it is now. It is time for you to move on." Haoquin says as he turns on his heel and leaves the room.
Finally out of the forest, Hao can see his destination in the distance. The only thing separating him and the terminus was a small creek, The feeling of nostalgia washes over him. This was a place he knew all too well. Even if the area around it changed drastically, there was no mistaking the appearance. His feet come to a halt as he uses this moment to catch his breath. The distance between Haoquin and the building was a few hundred feet. The sound of the churning water below him became background as he continued to focus on the building. The exterior was made of stone if Haoquin remembered. -That wouldn't be hard to break if I needed to. Hopefully, I don't.- Haoquin bit his lip as he dropped onto one of the giant rocks that stood above the water. He slowly began to cross the water, being careful not to fall. After a while, he crossed over and was about a hundred feet or so from the castle. He could see more of its features now. Though more importantly about 10 meters away from Haoquin was a familiar person who stood with his arms folded and a mixture between a scowl and smirk on his face. He wore a business suit and had a cigar in his mouth smoking.
"I thought I smelled you around. Your scent is so potent I came out myself to investigate. Now tell me...what brings you here.Haoquin." The voice says+
"Now Genesis-"
"Don't you dare call me by my government name!" Genesis growls, right after he appears before Haoquin. The burst of speed was something that Haoquin couldn't even trace. He forgot how...primal his old comrade was.
"Was that supposed to scare me? You know we've faced scarier foes. Now please stand back before I blow you back." Haoquin said calmly. In all honesty, Haoquin was in no position to be talking big toward this man. That wasn't the objective here. Genesis also picked up on that.
"Hehe..even after all these years you still have that spunk. Though did you really think I came here alone? There are two sets of snipers on top of the manor read to blow your head off if I give the signal. Now let me ask again..why are you here?"
"Well to put it simply, I need your help... I need the gangs' help. It doesn't take a genius to know that you guys still operating. After all, one of your members has been following me for the past week."
"Yea we have been operating and business has been going smoothly. Ever since you disbanded the group... we have secretly been continuing where we left off. Though I guess the secrets off huh? Though who would've thought you would've come crawling back to us? What makes you think we'll help you?"
"Because you guys aren't doing as smooth as you claim. Remember I was second in command of the gang. I know the ins and outs. You think I don't have spies on the inside? Trust me I know you aren't profiting as much as we did back then. Another thing, you've probably heard of the Lucas family and the Fang organization. Any day now something big will happen, we need to prevent that." Haoquin was very well bluffing but he knew that he could fool Genesis.
No one said a word for the next few seconds as the two of them glared at each other. From the outside perspective, it would seem like either one of them could swing first. The tension between them was so thick, it could be cut with a butter knife. Genesis snarls at Haoquin before turning around and beginning to walk away.
"Listen..like you said before, leave the villain fighting to the heroes. You are right we aren't as prosperous as before but we make enough to keep our standard of living. I know well of both parties that are causing a scene but at the moment we aren't their target and they aren't ours. We are no longer partners or family anymore Haoquin. Next time I find you on our ground, I will be the one to personally kill you. I'm sure you remember how..wild I can be when I use my quirk." He says as he leaves.
Haoquin stood there for a few moments watching his former ally leave like that. Haoqin was truly on his own so it seemed. A sigh escapes him as he turns back the way he came. This didn't end the way he planned but it what it is. It seems as if he wanted to bring down the Fang or Lucas he would need to find support elsewhere. He crosses the river once more and nears the forest. Looking back at the castle sighing once more before turning and sprinting back home. -Maybe I could get in contact with them.. though I doubt it. I wouldn't even know where to start. They would probably find me before I find them.- He thinks to himself as he rattles his brain for options.
Back at the manor.....
"Genesis sir.. how did it go? What did Haoquin want?"
"Hmm? Nothing important just checking on us. Make sure to keep an eye on him so he doesn't get himself into any trouble. Also be a bit more secretive about it, he knows you've been following him."
"Right sir. Though if you don't mind me asking. Do you still care about Hao?"
"None of your business. Now get back to work." He says as he enters his office. -Sigh...oh Hao please don't do anything stupid.-

Objective: To try to gain some allies but it didn't go as planned. Though just a start of the development for Hao.
Extra: Kinda tried to incorporate a small flashback segment with the different change of font and dialogue after the first paragraph. Don't know if you caught that. Also if ur lost, my bio's history will provide some context.
