This thread designates the collaborative start if a plot battle between Nobuwa as Miu Blackthorn and Morrowlife as Eli Thomas. Scenario is a villain attempting to rob a bank but the Hero in training is nearby, what will he do? Find out now!
The bustling noise of the streets in NY was always nothing more than annoyance, something that Miu personally hated. Her quiet hometown back in Hokkaido was always a bliss to her considering she never had to deal with any of the traffic or the ridiculous laws of the city – but this wasn’t important as it was only a minor setback to what she wanted to achieve. She would be wearing a heavy coat over her face, having been a wanted criminal in the streets for some time – anyone would easily recognize her if she wasn’t careful. She had been assigned a personal training mission by her mentor, Terminator.
Despite it being petty work, she sighed as she didn’t have much of a choice. She would walk into the Chase Bank building; her blue eyes scanned the room. It was quite full, but one teller was open as thus she rushed over, but she would trip on the carpeting on the ground, causing even more attention to be drawn to her than she initially wanted. One of the guards came to give her hand, but it she denied him and continued to walk towards the teller. Hello…miss, may I help you today? the teller asked Miu, but her hand was under the counter as she would use her quirk to create an explosive device under the table along side a fuse but she kept a smile on her face. Uh yes, I wanted to know if you’ve ever seen the B.B.H. she asked.
The teller was quite confused, and nodded no. Miu smirked and from her free hand she would form a replica of her signature hammer – to which she swings down and smashes the glass, stopping just before hitting the clerk. Well, you’ve seen it now! The Bad Bitch Hammer, my trusty sidekick. Now gimme all the money in this damn building or else we are gonna have a problem. she said winding her hammer back but was prepped to strike any other time as she clerk began to gather money into a sack for her. Things were going too easy… but alas, only time will tell what happens next.
"These streets are more complicated than Los Angeles..." Eli murmured, wandering about the hustle and bustle of New York. He had only been a student at Horizon College for a short time, but thankfully administration let him join the trip to Dawn University. He had only just arrived, and decided to begrudgingly withdraw a little more money out of his savings account in order to pay for the excursion. Eli hated spending money, especially for a one time trip, but it couldn't be helped. He stepped into a large building marked 'Chase Bank' to accomplish this task.
Eli's eyes immediately adjusted to the spacious area before him, where many civilians crowded the floor going from counter to counter. Impressive enough there were even a number of guards in the building! In his home town, no bank was large enough to warrant that. After gazing across the room for several lengthy moments, Eli located a bright illuminated sign that read 'ATM,' and approached it with some sort of resentment gathering as a lump in his throat. He patiently waited for the machine to do it's work as he entered his information. While the screen buffered, Eli heard a smash of what sounded like glass breaking. He quickly turned his head in the direction of the noise to investigate.
A woman in a heavy coat wielding a large- what was that, a hammer?- weapon had crushed the glass and nearly injured the teller behind the counter. Eli instinctively let out a "Hey!" before thinking through the scenario. Immediately in his head he felt regret; drawing attention to himself before he had a position to examine his surroundings was foolish, and certainly not what he had been taught at Horizon. I guess real life is different than book work, he thought as he took a step toward the woman. Might as well commit now. Eli wasn't sure what was going on, and he silently prayed it was nothing serious.
Unfortunately for Eli, he was in way over his head.
Her cerulean blue eyes diverted towards someone screaming in the background, as she turned to find most of the others in the crowd to be ducking down in fear, but amongst them was one of those ballsy types. Miu sighed, taking her cloak off and revealing her identity to the others. Murmurs began to spread through the room, a district level criminal was in the building but for her to be soloing this type of heist on her own made it seem like she was more potent than she portraits. She had the detonator on her waist, held in place with a strap as she walked towards her the brave civilian; as she continued to watch the man place the money into the bag. She walked in a circle, looking up and down at the kid – but she would smirk even more. What are you even? A quirkless person trying to be a hero? Show me your license before attempting to stop me or are you going to break the law like me and use your quirk? If you don’t well… she trailed off as she put her palm out and a glow occurs as a small grenade is formed.
She casually removed the pin, and using her hammer to smack it into the distance – the panicked civilians ran away as an explosion occurred, claiming the lives of two woman nearby as the blood splattered onto the walls. She turned back to the man, her malicious intent was now known. Many people where too scared to move, but one individual was on the phone – as he just barely managed to call the Hero Association before a kunai was lounged into his head by Miu. She snarled as she moved away from Eli, heading back for the bag of money and smashed through the glass with her hammer as she made her get away, running down the packed streets.

Eli reflexively threw up his hands to cover his ears when the explosion occurred. The heat brushed against his face as a splash of warm liquid was splattered onto his arm. Is that blood? his mind raced at the thought. Things were happening at a lightning fast pace; this was clearly no amateur criminal, this person had experience. He heard someone call out into their cellphone for the Hero Association to arrive, but unfortunately cut short after the Villain sunk a projectile between his eyes. What am I getting myself into, I should just- Eli cut his own thought short as the woman dashed through her impromptu exit. Something within Eli stirred, and he found himself propelled forward despite the illogical decision.
I'm going to catch her.
Eli hadn't practiced much of his Quirk in a chase environment yet, so he thought carefully as he took to the streets in pursuit. There were people gathered in every direction, and it was becoming hard to spot the thief in action. Well, here goes nuthin', Eli mused as he dug his hand into a pocket. Pulling out a small coin, he flung it onto the ground in front of him. Please work, please work, Eli fought the urge to close his eyes as he passed over the coin and pushed.
In an instant, Eli began to soar through the air with his hand extended out towards the coin on the ground. His Vector force was pushing against the combined mass of the coin and the cement beneath it, and in return his own weight was being propelled by the forces the ground had on him. Almost dazed by the novelty of it all, Eli snapped himself out of it to locate the criminal. "S-stop, thief!" Eli shouted toward her, while slowly beginning to descend again. While falling, Eli used his left hand to pull the coin back to him, and pushed it back toward an empty spot on the ground he was approaching in order to halt his descent. With his free hand, he grabbed another coin from his pocket and pushed it at the fleeing Villain as a projectile weapon, hoping to slow her down by knocking her off balance.
I've got to catch this woman, or more people will die, the gravity of the situation caught Eli off guard as he landed with a slight thud, continuing off in a run.
Name: Vectors Quirk: Emitter Quirk Level: Basic Rank: D Experience Points: Zero Type: Supplementary / Offensive Range: Self Damage: None Description: This Quirk grants the user the ability to push and pull non-organic objects at will. The power of the Push and Pull is completely dependent on two factors: the first factor is the user's lifting capability which is determined by the strength attribute and the second factor in the overall dimensions of the targeted object. The number of objects that are currently target is determined by the stamina attribute: for every 5 PHY in the stamina attribute, the user can push or pull one item. This quirk can be used offensively by firing objects as projectiles, or supplementary as a mobility enabler.
Inner Workings:
~ Contact must be made, via the hands, to activate the Quirk. The user may push the object away from them by opening their palm or pull the object towards the user by closing their fist. The traveling speed is dependent on the strength attribute. ~ If the touched object has more mass than the user, or is connected to something with more mass, the opposite effect will happen upon the user should they lack the strength to pull or pull. For an example, if the object has more mass and the user attempts to push it – then the user will be pushed away. If the user attempts to pull that object towards them, the user will be pulled towards the object.
Drawback: Other than being unable to affect organic matter, the Quirk is limited by use of hand gestures and physical mass. Any restriction to the user's hand motions will prevent activation or cancellation of the Quirk.
Hearing the airborne male approaching as he called out to her, Miu turned to see him suspended in the air – much to her annoyance. As he landed and pushed the coin towards her, she would turn and see it coming towards her but before it can touch her she would step her left foot out, and pivot on it as she spun on her heel to not only side step the coin but to also switch into another street within the coming intersection. It was clean and fluent movement, as she then once more broke into a sprint but she knew this wouldn’t be the last of him.
Once she noticed a secure point to be this being in the middle of town – she dashed at her top speed but from her leg she would begin to produce something, as the red glow can be seen. She took her time on this one as she crafted a more unique item – this being a flash bang. She tossed it into the air as it finished crafting and unleashed it in the center of town. This caused many to become blind, hopefully the person chasing her.
It would affect her as much due to the goggles on her head as she placed them on once it was thrown and blocked out most of the light. She would duck down behind a pillar, chekcing the corner in order to make sure the person wasn’t able to find her. She would however begin to hear police sirens up the block where the Chase Bank is, as she motioned her hand to detonator on her waist.
Show time! she said as she waited for more of them to potentially show up.

"Damn, I missed," Eli cursed under his breath as the coin fell flat to the ground where the woman had pivoted. Her situational awareness was well honed, certainly more so than his own, and she had heard him coming from his scream. He pulled the two coins back to his palms, putting one away in a pocket and saving them for another use of his Quirk. It was difficult to force himself through the crowds, and the street the woman turned at was no exception. Eli grabbed hold of a street sign to quickly turn into the street, spinning around the sign and launching himself off of it with a push.
In the somewhat darker alleyway, Eli could see a faint red glow coming from the leg of his pursuit. That must be her Quirk, Eli thought to himself, trying his best to identify exactly what it could accomplish. Soon after, he noticed some type of explosive materialized where the glowing had started! Some type of creation? He didn't have much time to wonder, as the woman tossed the explosive into the air nearby. Frightened another grenade would kill innocents, Eli pushed the coin in his right hand towards the object, projecting it further into the air than the woman had intended. Merely seconds later the device exploded into a bright light and loud concussive wave, however thanks to Eli's quick measures the brightness was only a mild irritant. The sound of the blast scattered across the city's many buildings, bouncing around for several blocks. If I'm lucky, that will draw some of the police this way...
That moment, Eli began to hear sirens wailing in the distance. Help was coming, hopefully quickly. Though the light had been mostly diluted, it still proved it's purpose. Eli rubbed his eyes as he slowed his pursuit of the woman for a minute. "Where did you go, you varmint..." He scowled and searched for signs of her, seeing no trace in the crowds. "She must have hidden." For a brief moment, Eli thought he saw her blonde hair flow behind a pillar of a large courthouse building. "Now I've got you..." He whispered, hoping to catch her off guard; she was not so reckless as to leave her surroundings unchecked, unfortunately, and Eli locked eyes with her for one second. "Ha-HA!" he exclaimed, grabbing another impromptu projectile from his pocket to push at the woman. He could only hope to hit his mark this time, before more unexpected tragedies occurred. The Hero Association was coming, but how long would they take?

This damned kid, she thought to herself the flash grenade went off further in the distance to the intervention of this foolish man – to which causes Miu reveal herself once and for all. Her eyes loomed in the area she managed to hid in but she wasn’t sure if this was ideal for a fight but it matter not in this point in time. Eli had managed to find her, and she was tired of being trailed by him. She admired his bravery but she smirked, wondering if he was Professional Hero. Alright, you got me! Show me your professional license, I want to see if you have any sort of authority to make an arrest here today young man. she said.
If he indeed was a Pro, then he would probably be off duty considering he didn’t have any sort of costume on nor was she aware of his identity. One other thing she noted is that lack of knowledge of her current reputation in the city but this was small details that can be overlooked. The coin he tossed towards her, she would take her hammer with her left hand, and with a swing she would basically knock it back towards him but alongside this she would dash towards him, with her immense speed and plant her right boot into his stomach. The force of the kick was more than enough to cause him pain, as he was sent flying out of into the street.
Miu spat to the side of her as she walked towards him, as she noticed several police cars appearing before her but she would simply ignore them, as the officers began to draw their guns at her. She casually used her quirks power to generate something from her legs. Once it fully formed, it became a minigun that she held in her hand. She pivoted, with open fire as she launched a spray of bullets into the police cars. The officers tried to fire back but the immense rain was too much for them to handle, with some of the cars blowing up in the process.
Once that was cleared, she turned back to the “hero”, to whom she dropped the minigun next to. She loomed over him, and smiled with pure malicious intent. You wanna see a magic trick? It’s full of explosives and blood! she said as she reached for the detonator and pressed the button – setting the bomb back at the bank off.
This would cause many civilians to be injured, some possibly dead. The mini shock wave can be felt, she was proud of her show.

The woman spoke from behind cover, emerging slightly toward Eli and calling out to him. "Alright, you got me! Show me your professional license, I want to see if you have any sort of authority to make an arrest here today young man." Eli pondered at the statement; her implication was correct, if he didn't have a license Eli could not legally arrest this woman. The thought didn't cross his mind when he decided to chase her, perhaps he should have given more thought to what he was doing? His body simply moved on it's own accord, willing Eli to action by necessity. There were serious consequences if he were to represent the school poorly or cause any damages. She's right, maybe I should get out of here and leave this to the professionals, Eli gave it a thought.
That moment, Eli noticed a sparkle directed towards him. The coin he had shot her way she had deflected back toward him! Alright, she countered. No need to pull it back or push, I'll just avo- Eli's mental process was cut short as a sharp pain impacted his solar plexus. The Villain had dashed forward with the distraction and deposited her toe into his chest. The air in his lungs evacuated his chest cavity with one swift breathe, leaving him paralyzed and unable to replace it. The force of the kick sent Eli back several feet as he skidded across the pavement like a young child's first fall from a skateboard. Thankfully his training had shown efforts to protect himself, as he threw his arms over his head to prevent concussions. Even still, it was likely the attack may have broken a few ribs.
Eli sluggishly stammered in pain as the woman manifested a large machine gun from her legs, holding off the police force that had shortly arrived. When she was through, she tossed the weapon to the side nearby Eli. I can use this, I just have to time it right. Eli thought, eyeing the weapon and planning a trajectory. He was hurt- certainly not incapacitated- but she didn't know that. You wanna see a magic trick? It's full of explosives and blood!" The woman laughed at him, pressing a trigger on her hip.
Nearby, in the direction they had run from, an explosion occurred. It was close enough that Eli could feel it in his fractured chest. The woman seemed to look prideful, even accomplished at this feat. Alright, now! Eli mustered his strength to grab the mini-gun's barrel nearby with both hands while outstretched on the ground. He grunted in pain as he swung the weapon over his head in a circular motion, releasing it in the direction of the woman and giving it a great push! He conjured as much strength as he could to land a blow quickly, hopefully knocking the woman back to give him enough time to stand once more.
Wearily rising to his feet, Eli smirked with a toothy grin. "Ya done messed with the wrong farmboy now!" He remarked, thinking for sure he'd have to come up with a cooler catch-phrase than that.
With success on the horizon, Miu had become distracted for a mere moment when she turned her eye back to the kid reaching for her weapon, and realizing this was potentially a counter to her motives, she saw the gun being launched at her at high speeds but the speed was easily traceable to her own self. Miu narrowly avoided much of the blow as she conjured a shield over her right arm as she placed both arms out in an X formation. The two techniques clashing would send her skidding backwards slightly for a few feet but she managed to handle it with relative ease to which as the blow eased up, she swatted the gun away. “So, he can control gravity? Push the air?” she pondered on his quirk’s power but alas she had no time to admire it.
Retaliation was needed, and as such she would rush at him once more as she conjured five shuriken from her palm and waved her hand out release them at the enemy. They were all aimed to strike the enemy down – one slashing his at his face, two at his arms and the last two aimed near his abdomen but she wasn’t done with him yet. “Ya done messed with the wrong farmboy now!" he said to her, as he got back up onto his feet she smiled.
Your tenacity is annoying me now…but if it makes a good fight then Ill allow it! she said, as he dealt with the bladed weapons – Miu would appear below him; as she extends her left leg out while turning clockwise to sweep the enemy off his feet. As he’s fall down however, she would complete her turn and extending her left fist would punch him square in the face, sending him flying once more but she dashed to follow behind him as she thought about her next motive. Once again Eli had been trounced by the superior reflexes and experience of his combatant. It was infuriating how his 'surprise attack' wasn't even close to hitting her, but Eli had a trick up his sleeve. His eye tracked the mini-gun for a moment after it failed to hit it's mark; Eli made sure to save his left hand pull for the reversal later. He would be limited to his right hand for any deflections, but as that was his dominant hand it wouldn't be too suspicious, or so he hoped.
Only moments after standing back up, the Villain swiftly sliced through the air with several projectiles; from Eli's perspective they looked like disks cutting the space between them. Eli reached for one more coin in his pocket to launch himself out of range of the weapons, grabbing one last coin to flick to the ground. He was hardly able to escape the attack by pushing upward milliseconds before impact. One of the disks notched a gash into his right arm as he flung himself forward; Eli gripped his right arm with a wince of pain. Blood started to well up and form pools dripping to the ground below. I've got to keep going, I can't let these little cuts stop me! Pushing past the pain, Eli grimaced and slapped his arm, hoping to swell it up to stop the bleeding prematurely.
As the air blew through Eli's brown head of hair, he devised a plan of action. Pulling the coin back to his palm, he turned his body a slight degree to push the coin against a nearby building. This launched him from mid-flight position straight towards the Villain in a tackle. She'll see this coming, but this is what she won't see... As Eli rocketed towards his target, he turned so his left hand was out of sight. Now, my secret attack...! Eli pulled with equal strength on the mini-gun he had pushed earlier. Pincer attack!
Unfortunately for Eli, he had not anticipated that his enemy would have a reaction to his own attack. His tackle landed him directly in range of a punch to the face. It hit squarely in his left cheek, and the momentum sent him tumbling head over foot. A cloud of dust erupted in the spot Eli quickly became acquainted with. Spurts of pain pulsed throughout his neck and spine, and rattled his already hurt chest. Eli couldn't help but let out an audible "Ohhhh..." when he was able to speak again.
Eli wasn't able to wait very long this time, as the Villain quickly followed up her attack. Eli once more lurched upward using his coin push after pulling it back to himself, but had no time to think about what to do next. He had left himself quite vulnerable, and almost out of options. He was nearly at the mercy of a murderous Villain, at least for the moment until help would arrive...
With the disturbing sounds being made by the sound of the enemy after being knocked down, Miu started to feel slightly bad for kicking him around; but there was no time for sympathy in this world. She was nothing more than a criminal in the eyes of others, a monster created by the people she associated with in life. She had multiple chance of running away – but no she would never leave this type of life. She started to walk to Eli, her cerulean eyes filled with malicious intent but as she was one meter behind him she figured she cut him a break.
Listen, I know this isn’t as easy as you’d hope but you clearly see a vast difference in our level of power. You continue to stand and stand; knowing it’s pointless to try and fight but for what reason? I’ve already proven that I’m more than capable of killing you here with no remorse but id say ive come to like your spunk. It irritates me, but its also admirable .
She said as she waltzes into his line of sight; noting the individual heading into the air after his failed attempt into tackling her had been countered rather easily – leaving Miu to sigh as she looked up at him. She tilted her head to the sky; reminiscing of her time within the Lucas Family…she regrets she had to leave – but it was for the betterment of her own agenda. Hey kid, not gonna lie to you but your hella annoying. I hate wannabe heroes, even more so than anything in this world – but sometimes there are a few that spark my interest, much like you did today. Such tenacity is wasted in the Hero Association – why don’t you come and join a real faction, one that will take care you and protect you! That pain in your chest, that would never happen to you if you come and join hands with me, Miu Blackthorn. she said as she morphed a gun into her hand – aiming it at the kid and with a single shot, it would pierce through his chest.
It wasn’t aimed at any lethal point in his body, but it will surely get her message across. Join her or meet his bitter. However another bitter thing had arrived, a Provisional Level Hero.
Miu Blackthorn! Such a lovely young lady…yet you cause so much destruction?! I can’t say you’ll be leaving here with your freedom but rest assured you’ll be taken cared off… the hero said as he used his wind quirk to keep the girl at bay. Miu was becoming frustrated, as she would sprint to the edge of the wind barrier, but as she touched the corner of the barrier – she would bounce back from it.
She was in big trouble…

Eli had never been shot before. He had always imagined the pain would have been more debilitating, crushing his spirit and racking his frame in shock; it wasn't even painful at first. The blood seeped out of the exit wound quickly as Eli drifted in mid-air. Time seemed to stand still during his decent, and his mind raced with so many questions. Is this how I die? Why did I chase after this woman, Miu Blackthorn, when I could have let the officials handle this? If I survive this, is my hero career over? Would my parents have been proud of me? Eli gave a weak push against a coin he dropped onto the ground to prevent his fall, but his weakened state kept him from using his full force. His bones cracked as the concrete stopped his fall with much force.
Just when Eli had almost given up hope, the Provisional Heroes arrived. Some Hero with wind abilities was keeping Miu detained, creating barriers to prevent her escape. How was he able to keep her from running so quickly? Eli wondered in awe, amazed at the gap between his own strength and the strength of Provisional Heroes.
In the distance, a woman clad in a bright red jumpsuit ran towards Eli. "Help is here young man! Hold on!" Her voice rushed to greet Eli as he slowly reached out for her help. "Princess Plasma is here to recover you!" Eli was losing consciousness, so he couldn't quite remember this specific hero. Thankfully, her recovery powers quickly recuperated his damaged state; Eli's wounds began to clot and plug themselves and his blood flow started to accelerate with renewed vigor. Within seconds, Eli was able to stand again. He was baffled at her power as well. "Thank you, ma'am... are all Provisional Heroes as strong as you?" Princess Plasma chuckled lightly at his questioning. "Of course dear, that's why we are the best team there is!"
Eli turned with a grin, his hopes for combating this threat of Miu Blackthorn renewed. "Hey, listen ya creep!" Eli bolstered his voice as he braced his weary legs to begin running. "You aren't getting away this time! The Heroes are here now, and we'll stop you!" Eli pivoted to direct his message to the wind-using Hero. "This woman is dangerous, she says her name is Miu Blackthorn!" Words spewed from his mouth with quick succession, Eli hoping to provide aid with the limited intelligence he had gathered on the target. "She has some sort of Creation Quirk, her body glows when she makes something! So far she's used guns and explosives, but she can fight up close with her Hammer as well! She robbed Chase Bank and killed at least three people. I've been chasing her for a few blocks now..."
Eli's breathe running short, he panted after delivering the message. Princess Plasma put a hand on his shoulder, in an attempt to get him to rest. Eli shook her off lightly, and took a few solid steps forward. His eyes seemed to glisten with determination as he stared Miu down. "You may be stronger than me, but I won't rest until you're in jail, Miu. Your pride will be your downfall."
Pride? Does this child not know how pride means nothing in the eyes of Miu? She sat down on the ground, her cerulean eyes aimed at the floor – but among all this she would begin to laugh hysterically. She rocked her body side to side, as the laugh calmed and she rose her head to look Eli in his eyes, a deranged expression on her face as she noted him having been healed. In truth, this hero was no more than an annoyance to her – as she began to get up. Twister, the Provisional Hero attempted to subdue her even more but the girl gripped her hammer and smashed through the wind barrier with all her might. Miu wasn’t done however, as the hammer broke through she would use the gun in her free hand to shoot Twister square in the chest, piercing his lungs but three more shots were fired at him.
With a crashing thud, Twister was down and injured but before Plasma Girl could get to him – Miu continued to fire more shots, striking the rushing hero in her leg – preventing her from moving but before she can get a moment to heal – a solid blow to the temple via her hammer but the Hero down and out for the count. Miu carnage was not over, as she turned to Eli.
Pure malicious intent radiated from her as she walked towards him, her body swaying back and forth. She was in a deranged state of mind, and Eli was her main target. You want to see pride? Ill show you what I truly pride in…killing people. she said with no remorse.

Eli watched in horror as Twister took three shots to the chest by Miu's pistol. Two more would strike Princess Plasma, who hit the ground shortly after Twister with a heavy hammer blow. Those few moments seemed to stand still while Eli stood, nearly helpless, on the sidelines. If Miu can do this to Provisional Heroes, what use am I to stop her...? Eli's thought trailed off as he was approached by the murderess. "You want to see pride? I'll show you what I truly take pride in... killing people." Something was off about Miu now; before, the Villain had shown little remorse for taking human life, but she was somewhat jovial, smiling and causing a ruckus while on her rampage. Eli now felt daggers being tossed into his pupils by Miu, the killing intent behind her eyes was too heavy to bear.
Eli had previously fought back his flight response; a hero always challenged and put their life at risk in order to stop evil and villainy! Of course, that was before the two Provisional Heroes had been taken down right in front of him, as well as a swathe of police force and multiple civilian casualties. This time, Eli had but one course of action: to run.
His right foot twisted firmly and he took off in a dash. She's going to fire some sort of projectile weapon at me, I need cover! Eli's mind panicked as he hastily scanned the surrounding area for something to block her shots. A car door wouldn't be strong enough, and he didn't have enough time to take a jacket from a knocked out policeman... Guess I'm going to have to dodge then... Eli touched cars as he passed by them, quickly pushing against one of them to launch him toward another. When he reached the next vehicle, he released his push and touched the next one to push off of it as well. This impromptu zigzag pattern would serve as decent avoidance from small firearms, but he was likely to endure grazed shots.
Though Eli was quite literally fleeing for his life, it was not out of cowardice. Strategy was integral to his plan; Eli was leading Miu straight back toward the direction the police came from. He could only hope more backup was en route, because if Eli was alone, he would be in grave danger.
Tracking his movement with only her eyes, he wasn’t as fast as he might seem – Miu wouldn’t stop her movement as she would generate a chain from her neck as she dropped the pistol as it no longer had any shots rounds within the cartridge – prompting her to rely on another form of weaponry. As the man tried to zip past her she would grab onto the chain and tossed it directly at Eli. The chain would function to wrap around his ankle midflight as he tried to zip past her but she would stand her ground, anchoring herself down to which all her might she would slam him onto the concrete floor. She grunted, as she tossed her hammer as well as he touched down onto the surface.
It was aimed to smash his body, regardless of where he might try to go but alongside this she walked from behind. She was like a live zombie, her body swaying back and forth – as she muttered something under her breath, it was barely audible but once within earshot one can make out the words that she said. “Pride…pride….” She said continuously without any reason behind this but in truth, she was having a mental break down.
A traumatic event in her past, abandoned by her own family who all lamented that pride was the epitome of the family. She hated the word but hated when her pride was being judged by others, she only became this prideful simply to show the others that she is indeed the strongest of the Blackthorn Family.
She would be one meter away from Eli as she stopped, her sense of reason coming back but her dark behavior continued to be ever so present in the battle. No…you aren’t running away from me…I will shatter your own pride with my bare hands…I hope you have that same energy from before…HERO! she said as she shouted on the last word, as katana being made in her palm as she gripped it and moved closer to him.
