Noir vs AntaresType: Solo Location: Staple's Center Arena Terrain: Concrete Battlefield similar to the Manga Battlefield. Range: Seven Meters. Time Limit: 7 turns each. Objective Level: Tough. Asahi enters the battlefield with his quirk turned on and his debuff active. His stats are 25/15/15/15. +5 ACC from costume.
Additionally, Asahi is wearing his costume and has the following traits: Sun’s Embrace Costume Type: Costume Costume Grade: C Stats: - +5 ACC
- 5% Energy Restoration
Damage: 4 DMG Description: A full-body technological suit, this costume was designed to maximise movement efficiency and save energy. The suit works as a living battery, capable of absorbing any energy loss the user generates and recirculating it back to the owner, essentially making the thermal efficiency of the wearer as close to 100% as humanly possible. This allows the user to restore 5% of the residual energy left over from casting techniques or exerting from the transformed form. Naturally, the suit isn’t affected by the wearer’s heat or energy outputs. The costume also provides a sight augmentation through the mask, which allows the user to see in dire conditions and augments his visual capabilities. The mask has a filter that’s active at all times, preventing the user from inhaling undesired toxins. Stock: 1 Payment: 3,000 Gold
Asahi enters the battlefield, ready to face his opponent. A girl that goes by the hero name Noir, a student at Dusk if Antares' memory served him right. She didn't showcase much of her arsenal in the early stages nor did Asahi catch her using her quirk at any given point so it was still too early for him to assess how much a threat she was. Bearing this precautions in mind, Asahi knew similar thoughts were crossing her mind and used this opportunity to exploit her lack of information. Asahi dashed forward using his flight capabilities to hover slightly above the ground, closing the distance to four meters, before his body started emitting light. The goal was to blind Noir temporarily, shaking her up for a few moments. Asahi releases two consecutive blasts of energy directed at her position, which he knows due to heat sensing and the variations of the emitted light presented when hitting an object. Recap: Blinding Noir if she was looking at Asahi (no reason not to?) + a 10 PHY debuff to ACC ( 5 + 5 from trait) Each energy blast has 2 damage due to being D-rank + 1 dmg from transformation perk = 3 dmg each blast Energy levels: 100% - 5% x 3 + 5% recovery from costume = 90% Techniques used:

Noir stood in the ring upset at the outcome of the President Challenge, especially because she had not done well in the Playground Challenge as well. Entering the Festival Tournament was nothing short of a surprise, but she refused to let the opportunity go to waste. This tournament was not only design to showcase her abilities to become a stellar hero but it represented Dusk Institute. Noit knew the stress that her professors were in and refused to disgrace them any longer with poor performance. When her opponent entered the battlefield, the illusionist refused to play with her food as she normally does.
Parent Technique and Equipment |
Name: Invasion Quirk: Emitter Quirk Level: Basic [Ascend] Rank: G Experience Points: Free Type: Supplementary Range: Self Damage: None Description: The user can create, shape and manipulate illusions, causing targets to see, hear, touch, smell and/or taste things which do not actually exist or cause them to perceive things differently from what they truly are. When cast in a normal illusion the victim will be unaware at first, but the illusions cannot be perfect and must contain flaws and triggers essentially for the victim to notice: These flaws must be detailed in the technique submission for each illusion. The damage of the illusions will depend entirely on the rank of the technique but the damage is always considered mental damage with the exception of psychosomatic illusions, meaning the basic illusions are not capable of destroying organs or limbs, even if they cause pain they won't disable an opponents body.
Inner Works:
~ All Illusions Require the user to visibly see the actual target. Targets must be of the techniques' ranges. ~ All Illusions Require triggers to cast the illusion. All illusions require flaws noticeable in the description. ~ All Illusions Require the target(s) to possess a human minds.
Drawbacks:
~ At the Current Level of Mastery, the user can only cast and maintain two illusions at once. Even if the same illusion technique was used separate times. ~ At the Current Level of Mastery, the user can cast an illusion(s) on multiple targets. The number of targets is dependent on the the user's Accuracy. ~ At the Current Level of Mastery, the user is forced to remain still whenever they have successfully caste an illusion on a target. |
When the opponent reached one meter within his travel, Noir simply raised her right hand and pointed with both the index & middle fingers. This act allowed her to place Antares under an illusion - an very powerful illusion designed true inception of the mind.
Name: Inception Quirk: Invasion Rank: B Experience Points: 50 Type: Supplementary Range: Mid Damage: 0 Description: the user casts a powerful illusion unlike the standard techniques at her disposal. This technique is design for complete flexibility regarding the environment, unlike the standard techniques that require pre-meditated designs, and a creative control in the midst of the illusion. The illusion forcefully invades the mind and causes the target(s) to witness the environment (including everything in it) to blink in and out of existence (The Flaw) although the speed is near identical to blinking your eyes.
Once the illusionary world was established, Noir would caste another illusion with the intent to end the match as quickly as it started. (She made 6 hands in the following technique and they are moving to grab you.)
Name: Mindslaver Quirk: Invasion Rank: B Experience Points: 50 Type: Supplementary Range: Mid Damage: 4 (6 due to +2 Damage Trait) Description: the user can only cast this technique if the target(s) are already placed in an illusion. The user's shadow becomes shadowy, ghoul like hands that are capable of extending up to ten meters and their movement speed is based on the user's accuracy. Perhaps a few inches in width, the hands are capable (once catching the opponent) of binding the target(s). With prolong exposure to the technique, the hands invade the body to symbolize it plaguing the user's mind with strain.
Note: The user can make multiple hands but the damage splits evenly. Note: One the damage triggers for the first time, each turn after the target(s) will take half the damage.

Asahi was flying towards his opponent when the latter raised two fingers and pointed at Antares. He didn't know what that movement implied and he wouldn't have time to process it either. Six hands grew out of her shadow and immediately proceeded to grab him, causing him to collapse on the spot.
OOC: Unable to track the attack, Asahi is hit with 6 dmg, reducing his HP to 0.

WAIT A MINUTE? THE BATTLE BEGAN WITH IMMEDIATELY AGGRESSIVE. ANTARES FLEW TOWARDS NOIR BUT THEN IMMEDIATELY STOPPED, CRASHING INTO THE GROUND. WHAT IS GOING ON?
Moments later…
NOIR IS SEEN WALKING. AS FOR HER OPPONENT? HE ISN’T MOVING, WHAT HAS HAPPENED.
Noir would begin to announce that she successfully placed her opponent into an illusion. She caused enough mental strain and damage to knock her opponent unconscious.
