< CRISIS SYSTEM ARRIVED! > The Crisis System has finally be constructed and release to the general public. We encourage people to test out the system and enjoy themselves in drafting grand stories capable of changing the dynamics of the Role-Play World. Understand that the system is new, thus there are some kinks to be worked out that we couldn't due to not having enough man power to test! Make sure to read the rules which are placed in the Rules and Checks section of the RP Boards.
< THE NEXT MAJOR EVENT! > The Next Major Event will arrive starting the first week of Decemeber! Why are we making this announcement so early? Because we want to provide ample amount of opportunity to warn the community to start preparing and testing out their move sets. It will be a faction event once more, which means Heroes vs Villains BUT remember that Vigilantes are now thrown into the fray. It would be utter chaos so stay tune!
< To Be Announced > TBA
O'Raan heard the doorknob behind him twist followed by the creaking open of the door opening up. No civilian in their right mind would come up to the top of a roof with buildings exploding and blowing their rooftops off. It had to be that damned Hero. O'Raan did not have his Sacred Wood Armor Costume on any more so he would not be able to see exactly where the Hero would attack him from. This caused him to need to turn his head slightly towards the door to verify that it was indeed the Hero coming at him. O'Raan had to think of a strategy. His initial response would have had to be one of countering and defense instead of blocking the attack with his Omega beams like he would initially use. It was then that the Hero sent a large blast of radiate energy his way. O'Raan created a black orb around himself that would protect him from any onslaught that the Hero sent, all the while teleporting the blast of energy 3 meters directly above the Hero to go slamming back down into him and potentially destroying the section of the building down below.
This would keep him busy, O'Raan figured, as if he decided to dodge, the people that were potentially in the building would not stand a chance and would either be casualties or extremely hurt due to the Hero's reckless nature. O'Raan doubted that the Hero took the time to clear the building as he came rushing up the steps to capture him.
Smiling, O'Raan began slowly collecting all of the vomit in a separate black Orb so that he could no longer throw up and keep his mind on the fighting.
O'Raan jumped off the side of the building and he then sent a blast of Omega Beam light at the floor right below the roof of the building, destroying the sides so that the Hero would lose his balance. Also, if this was not dealt with, anyone inside would still be in danger if the Hero was able to deal with the radiating energy blast. Take that O'Raan thought as he orbed himself across to another building.
It seemed as though the constant use of the man's power had no effect on the use of his powers, nor did the sickness he must would have been reafflicted with due to the exposure to Firestorm reappearing. Perhaps the man had more mastery of his quirk than Jason had surmised. Or perhaps the effects were coming yet. IN any case, it was readily apparent that the demon hadn't been slowed down all too much. His energy was absorbed, vanishing into the mans dark orb and into the ether. And the demon again remained untouched by his strikes. However, just as Firestorm was about to counter attack, he would notice a growing shadow beneath him.
Of course the man had moved Firestorm's blast upwards to cause it to fall back onto him. Jason would simply look up and fire another blast from his eyes at that one that would serve to negate it and cancel it out.
"You really think you're clever don't y-"
Jason would stop as he noticed the man was gone, and a blast of light was hurtling towards the building. Jason would do the only thing he had time enough to do, jumping downwards in the way of the blast and taking it in leiu of the building. As he was hit, Jason would of course be damaged and now free falling towards the ground
O'Raan had no idea what was going on. All he knew was that the Hero had somehow stopped his own radiant energy from destroying the building.as he did not hear the collapse and screams that would generally come from such an act. O'Raan wondered if the act had left him perhaps paralyzed from the effects of his quirk. Something that O'Raan himself would have to worry about soon if this battle drew on any longer. O'Raan orbed himself back over to the building and could see that there was a hole in the roof. He walked over to the hole and peered inside only to see rubble form from the damage of his Omega Blast.
So he was able to stop his own attack, however he failed to completely stop my attack. Interesting individual this Hero was. This was enough. There was no reason to pursue this any longer. O'Raan went back to the source of the building where they originally started fighting. Except this time he took the slow route. He would have to expend his time and energy shifting through all of the debris to find whatever remained of his Sacred Wood Armor. His rage at it being destroyed almost prevented him from achieving his mission. The Lucas Family were bound to have escaped by now. Now he just had to do the same.
As Jason was damaged by the hit, he quickly recovered in freefall. This was not only because of his natural healing, but due to his strength and vitality as a member of the Lion Tribe. Realizing that he had to do something to prevent himself from smacking the ground and letting the man get away. He quickly activated his flight and zoomed back in top of the building while reactivating his sensing so that he could once again track down the elusive demon. It appeared that he had traveled back to the top of the semi demolished building where the fight started. It had to be him, no sane person would go back up there, and all the citizens had evacuated just before
Jason knew he had to take his chance. This man as far too dangerous and far too elusive. It was here that Jason revealed his ace in the hole. Now that no one was in the way to be hit, he would be able to show more of his true power in order to make sure that this curse was never able to hurt anyone again. Knowing that the man wouldn't know of him, being so far away and unaware in what was basically a plain surface, Jason built a large amount of nuclear energy in his right hand. He would deliver portions of his own life force into the growing mass of power and use this force to overload his attack.
This demon would be erradicated
Jason would fire very large and powerful blast that would dart between the buildings and envelop a total of 5 meters around the man. Knowing his tactics earlier, the man would most lkely attempt to absorb Jason's attacks just as he did before. He would face a negative fate, as he would not know that this was Jason's most powerful attack. And it was hurtling directly towards him at breakneck speeds.
O'Raan was tired. He walked the distance to the building. He was in a fight and had used his ability countless times. As long as he stayed within range of eyesight, his ability did not really affect him much. It was the teleporting to the top of the building that drained him the most. He had gathered as much of the Sacred Wood that he could find in order to reconstruct his suit. There was broken glass everywhere, bricks and debris from the broken down buildings. The smoke cleared up some as time had passed. He bent down and started throw up again, figured that it would be a waste to orb the vomit out of his stomach any longer.
It was then that he could hear the sound of what seemed to be an gushing wind. It was extremely faint at first so he ignored it and seemed to throw up some more. However the more he ignored it, the harder it became to ignored. O'Raan could not quite fathom where the sound was coming from as it appeared to be coming from everywhere at once. He was suddenly on guard and his eyes began to glint with a bright shiny light. He had a ten meter range of diameter of attack with his Omega Beam.
He was ready to let one off at a moments notice. He crouched down to make himself a smaller target. He just waited on the new player to come in...or so he thought. he could see the same flame colored consistency of the head of the Hero he thought he just defeated. O'Raan sighed deeply as he let of an Omega Beam when the Hero got within 10 meters of him and met him before he could reach there. The Omega Beam met him full on, and O'Raan realized that he was being overpowered. He figured that too much of the energy was being expended with the beam being so large in size. He had a 10 meter diameter beam. O'Raan slowly reduced it one meter at a time to 5 meters in diameter. The power adjusted slowly started to push hold the Hero back.
It did not seem to be making a dent and only holding him back. To adjust for this, O'Raan altered the path of the beam so that it would slightly begin altering the path of flight of the Hero.
As the man altered Jasons flight path upwards and out of his area of danger, Jason was a bit surprised that the man was able to even misidirect his immense power. It was no matter though, as Jason knew that at this point the fight must be in his favor due to his opponent jumping from place to place for so long. He would quickly devise a plan to end this once and for all, and both of his hands would begin glowing again.
The thick smoke that had coverd the city and allowed a veil o secrecy to the going on's within had begun to recede, and the city was beginning to take hold of itself due to Jason staying the destructive hand of the demon this long.
As he flew up, he would notice several red and blue flashing lights within the bosom of the smoke. The familiar sound of vehicles pulling up and guns cocking in the vicinity of the demonic figure. And as Jason checked back down, he would notice that the man was gone once more, perhaps teleporting away for good in order to save himself for another day. In any case, the man has made himself scarce as police pulled up and Jason saw tat he had no more business here. So he kept flying up and away towards his base of operations.
So O'raans job was to distract/stop any heroes that showed up so that Lucas family could handle their business smoother right? Then why would he cause a disturbance and draw a hero- nvm.
