< CRISIS SYSTEM ARRIVED! > The Crisis System has finally be constructed and release to the general public. We encourage people to test out the system and enjoy themselves in drafting grand stories capable of changing the dynamics of the Role-Play World. Understand that the system is new, thus there are some kinks to be worked out that we couldn't due to not having enough man power to test! Make sure to read the rules which are placed in the Rules and Checks section of the RP Boards.
< THE NEXT MAJOR EVENT! > The Next Major Event will arrive starting the first week of Decemeber! Why are we making this announcement so early? Because we want to provide ample amount of opportunity to warn the community to start preparing and testing out their move sets. It will be a faction event once more, which means Heroes vs Villains BUT remember that Vigilantes are now thrown into the fray. It would be utter chaos so stay tune!

Type: Plot Winner: Tie Summary: O’Raan is stalling for time as the Lucas family makes their plans. He then becomes a distraction. Jason tried to stop him. O’Raan successful buys the time he needs and escapes. But not unscarred. Jason also took damage from an Omega beam. Terrain: City Streets Range: 5 meters.
O’Raan was standing in the center of Wall Street’s Financial District in New York. He was on assignment from the Lucas Family to handle or distract any potential Heroes when they showed up from stopping them from receiving any trade information. O’Raan stood out like a sore thumb in the middle of the street filled with individuals with white collars. They would serve to be his leverage while dealing with any Heroes that end up coming. But first things first, he needed to cause a bit of an uproar. O’Raan began calling for cars and sending them flying into buildings. They then subsequently began leaking fuel all over the place. And as if that were not enough O’Raan would use his O.M.E.G.A beams to burn the fuel, causing them to turn burn and then travel upwards towards the gas tank of the cars. This chemical reaction would cause the cars to blow up. He then began orbing the flaming cars into other flaming cars to cause them to explode near buildings and send everyone screaming in agony and fear.
With everyone scared for their lives, at least one Hero was bound to show up to try to deal with him. All he had to do was wait patiently for them to arrive. He began walking down Wall Street, causing people to attempt to run away from him in many different directions as possible. Sometimes he would orb the flaming cars at people. Other times he would launch them towards the buildings and then shoot his O.M.E.G.A Beams at the gas tank of the cars to explode along the foundations of a building. This would send them crashing into other buildings along the way. Causing smoke to rise up everywhere as well. With the air heavy with the smell of smoke and burnt objects, it would make it harder for him to find amongst all the commotion. He aided this by orbing himself every few blocks or so, so that no one could keep track of his movements. He thought of it as a game of “Hot potato”, hopping around from one place to another as he burned buildings down, ignited cars and scarred people for the rest of their lives with first, second and third degree burns.
Surprisingly enough, it did not take as long as he expected for a hero to show up. This individual was weak however, and was quickly dispensed of by O’Raan. He figured he had to be from one of the schools and maybe had a provisional license and wanted to stand up for the people. It did not end well for him as he began to fight O’Raan in hand to hand combat. O’Raan then used that as an opportunity to orb the Hero into a car and then blow it up in that same moment.
As the brave hero was sent careening towards certain danger a dazzlingly bright arrow zoomed into the scene. Seemingly on a course with disaster as well as the thrown hero, the arrow would arrive at the hero and envelop him a split second before a massive explosion rocked the entire district, and only further exacerbated this already dire situation.
But through the deluge of shrapnel and fire, the glow of the arrow would persist ever stronger. The backdrop of the hellish environment would serve as a sharp contrast to the soothing glow produced by the arrow. However as the smoke receded so too would the glow, revealing the silhouette of a man who seemed to gently place something down as before he began to step forward. With each step forward the silhouette would draw closer to demon that had dealt this fate to the innocents around him.
Closer and closer the silhouette drew, back and back the smoke receded. Until it the raging flame atop Firestorm began to peak through, illuminating the stern looking Jason Rusch, Firestorm. Donned in his costume of the darkest black and the purest white.
Stopping his motion 5 meters away from the creature, Jason would directly in his eyes and issue a simple declaration
O'Raan stood in watch as the smoke cleared and flames could be seen amassing around the head of another individual that arrived on scene.
He looks like a rather strong one does he not?
This would indeed be a fun fight he said to himself. It meant that there would be no point in trying to use the lasers as a means of blowing up the cars. Sure, the concussion force of the blast would hurt, but his flames needed to be "stomped out" not fueled upon if his abilities happened to work that way. Long story short, fire would not be an advised course of attacking this Hero. Besides, all he had to do was distract him long enough for the Lucas Family to do what they have to do and then he will high tail it out of there. And hopefully, maybe no other Hero's will show up to deter him and make it almost impossible to do his job.
Through all of his orbing from street to street while launching several cars and lightning them on fire with his Omega Beams, O'Raan had used all of that as surveillance to memorize the street terrain as best he could. He currently was a good five meters away from the Hero who had proclaimed that he was here to stop me. However, another few meters away was a side street that he could escape to on both sides. This was going to be fun he thought to himself.
O'Raan saluted to his opponent and then exclaimed very loudly through all the noise of the screams going on around them,
"You do not look like a person that I would be remotely interested in fighting, however, playing with your head while forcing you to do your civic duty is not against my code either. Catch me if you can Hero."
O'Raan finished the salute and disappeared into a black orb. He instantly appeared on the other street around the corner from the building and began running through the building causing any people that were inside to go running out in fear for their lives. He began breaking tables by running through them with his Sacred Wood Guerilla Warfare costume on. His costume was a family heirloom and it provided him with protection as well as granted him several different abilities that he used when he didn't want his quirk ability to be so obvious. Now was not the time to hold back.
"You do not look like a person that I would be remotely interested in fighting, however, playing with your head while forcing you to do your civic duty is not against my code either. Catch me if you can Hero."
The man would say before a black orb appeared and sucked him into it. Leave it to a villain to tell you their plan before they did it. It always made it a bit easier to manage them, it took the guessing game of of it. If this fiend planned to run, Jason knew that keeping track of his whereabouts was of the upmost importance. The Nuclear Man would spread his influence over the Atom outwards from himself, taking control of each and every molecule so that he could sense all around him.
Jason had expected the man to be a runner, so the shock he felt upon simply seeing the man vanish, yet feeling his presence the next street over. Could he teleport? He would have felt if he actually ran there. This movement of his was near instant if not altogether instant. The analysis would have to wait however, as he felt the molecular disturbance of this man running into what was a nearby structure.
As people began to flood out, even by jumping out of the windows at the lower levels, Firestorm devised a plan. He would fly in through a window just as O'raan would run past it. He would be able to time this perfectly due to his enhanced senses, and would catch O'raan off guard amidst the mass chaos he was causing.
Jason would tackle the man to the ground before raising a nuclear powered right fist before attempting to drive it into the man's face, which would send him crashing down to the bottom floor.
O'Raan was running through the building when the next thing his A cones on his arms picked up light heading straight for him at incredible speeds. He was thankful for their 360 degree range of vision. Remembering that the man's quirk seemed to be fire related, O'Raan figured that it was a fireball about to come busting through the window. However a different angle of the A Cones picked up the torso of the man as he was flying straight towards him. A smirk was hidden on the face of O'Raan as he simply kept on running and allowed the individual to plow through the window and into his body.
The Hero thought that O'Raan's only quirk was teleporting himself from one place to another. He did not bother to check and see how many different ways O'Raan could use that quirk to his advantage. Touching him was the biggest mistake he could have made. Though the flames seemed to be unbearable, O'Raan took the blow and used it as a means to use the Hero's own momentum against him. O'Raan grabbed a hold of the Hero around his waist. He teleported the Hero and himself just a few yards away from their current location; slamming the Hero into a solid wall as he did so with a suplex. O'Raan had learned that move watching an American show called Monday Night Raw.
He then released his hold on the individual and teleported himself to the window that was broken. He posed staring at the Hero to see if he could withstand the damage that was just dealt to him.

It was strange, Jason had felt his punch connect yet instead of seeing his opponent spiralling downwards into a pit, the momentum and location they were in have shifted completely and immediately. And as the man had wrapped his arm around his waist in the midst of taking Jason Nuclear Powered punch, he was in immediate danger. It seemed as if the man did not simply teleport himself and objects, but he could also teleport other people as well. Jason pondered what could possibly lead this man to have such abilities. Could it be technology based? To find out, Jason would shift his natural radiation output and would begin producing gamma radiation that would decay and destroy any and all items on the assailants person, hopefully this would slow him down a bit.
But there was still a problem of the wall. Running out of time, Jason produced an armor of nuclear energy around himself just before impact. This shield would save him from certain danger, but would send him into the wall as the demon teleported away once more.
But it mattered not. Firestorm had already given the man his gift.
O'raan was wrong to assume that Jason's abilities were based in fire. And that thought was surely cross his mind as he began to succumb to the heavy doses of radiation his opponent had been producing. As the radiation poisoning set in, Jason emerged from the wall standing tall, and glowing softly. While the demon may have gotten something out of making contact with Jason, Jason had gained something from the contact after all.
O'raan would surely become nauseous, his vision blurring exacerbated by the glow of Jason who would begin to walk towards him with a nuclear powered charge covering his hand.
Just as sure as the Hero had said the words, O'Raan could feel the nausea erupting within the pits of his stomach.
"What the hell," he exclaimed softly as he leaned out of the broken window to get some fresh air. He could feel his Sacred Wood armor becoming more and more brittle by the second. The armor slowly but surely began to break down all around him and falling off to the floor. In return for having destroyed the heirloom that had been passed down to him when his father died, O'Raan knew that he would have to severely hurt this man. His mission had gone out of the window. The only thing he could think about was rage, which made his tunnel vision all the more greater. He had one goal. Nothing else mattered right now.

Despite being angry, for now, O'Raan had to assess the situation at hand. He thought his enemy had fire abilities due to the flames that were amassing on top of his forehead, however that was not the case, as fire does not make people sick like this. The only thing he could think of was poisoning. But what type of poisoning radiated this much energy. It was then that it occurred to him, that his opponent gave off some type of radiation and it was affecting his body negatively. Thankfully the Sacred Wood armor protected him from the bulk of it.
O'Raan used his orbing quirk to send all of the armor that he was wearing outside and away from it the moment that he realized that it would continue to affect him the longer he was prolonged to exposure. But it was while he was shedding his own armor that he truly understood what was going on. That radiation that was being emitted had to be controlled somehow, and the only thing that came to mind was the Hero's Costume. So that is what O'Raan aimed for. He began orbing the bits and pieces of the window shards that had been broken previously and sending them all at the Hero as he tried not to double over and throw up.
The effects of the radiation were obvious on the demon. Maybe he wasn't so demonic after all. He looked rather human now actually, grounded. Continuing to walk towards him, Jason couldn't help but chuckle as he began to show desperation, using his abilities on his clothes and armor.
That's not going to help you, you know.
He would say alongside the chuckle. As he continued his ever growing pace towards you. His glow would present itself ever brighter, looming ever closer. And the temperature would begin to raise as he came ever closer. The sickening heat would seep it's way into your body, beginning to make a real impact on your health and possibly your psyche. By now, the people had made their way to the lower floors and were making their way out of the building.
As the glass would rise and fly towards jason,he simply holds his hand up and releases a deep pulse that knocks them all backwards, having the shards shatter once more and fly backwards into you from the force. Jason's eyes would begin to glow before they fired a blast of nuclear energy, carrying his ever present gift directly at the bewildered and fallen demons chest.
As the shards of glass flew at O'Raan, that was exactly what he wanted. He used the shards of glass as a means of hiding the light as it bounced off of shards of glass faster than they could come at him. It would send them all away and then the light would travel around the shards and strike from a different angle.
For a moment, his eyes closed as he bent down to the ground and began to throw up vomit all on the floor. He then used that opportunity to escape out of the window via a black orb. He then began destroying the structural integrity of the building while the Hero was inside, orbing a whole corner of the wall brick walled building so that it could collapse on top of the man.
He was gone again, but definitely afflicted by his radiation. However, it seemed as if his hypothesis on the origin of the man's ability had failed. He had used his ability to move things from place to place on his very own equipment in an effort to escape his gift's grasp.
"This must be his quirk"
Jason would think upon seeing this. While the man moved far too fast when teleporting , Jason was able to map his location when he was done moving due to his influence on the particles within and surrounding the city
But as he would prepare to track him down, Jason would notice the building begin to shake. And suddenly an entire portion of the a nearby wall would come hurtling towards him. It seemed as if in his desperation the demon was attempting to take everyone out in one blow. While Jason hated the idea of causing too much damage, he knew realized that the building was going to come down quickly, and he had to save the people that were still leaving the building.
Gathering his strength, as the building began to come down Jason would release a large nuclear blast upwards to meet the falling buildings. The absolute power of the nuclear blasts would create a gigantic mushroom cloud that would envelop the city in a wave of smoke, limiting visibility, and the top half of the building would be disintegrated in the power of nuclear energy
Jason would then hop down from the building and make his way to the demon silently through the smoke
After the explosion, a massive smoke cloud appeared all over the place as O'Raan began orbing all over the town. This was a good thing he thought to himself. This would be the perfect cover for his friends to escape without anyone noticing. Now would be about the time for them to do so anyway. Being in the smoke cloud however was messing with him even more than the initial radiation sickness.
This dude just survived me dropping the building on him? What kinda hero is he that he would risk spreading all of that radiation to all the people in the area. He had no way of communicating with the Lucas Family members due to his suit being destroyed, so he had to find a way around this dude, but he also needed to see as well. He orbed himself on top of a fairly tall building in order to get a good look at all the damage and destruction. His stomach was really bothering him however and he started spewing his guts yet again, this time onto the roof of the building. But now that he could breathe more clearly, he felt he could control the pain better.
As the smoke enveloped the city, Firestorm surmised that his opponent was going blind right about now. And with the sickness he should be feeling, his movement had to have been hindered atleast somewhat. However, Jason had been using his powers for quite a bit now and he did not want to risk any sort of explosion or possible harm to the citizens of this place. The demon he was chasing had saw to the fact that there was more than enough pain and suffering for a long time. Far too much at that. The fact that he was willing to destroy a building just to fight Jason was all he needed to know about this guy and where he stood on morality.
Ending the use of his powers so that he could better move in the camoflauge as well as prevent further damage. By moving slowly and opening his ears, he should be able to remain unseen while locating his target. He was close to thinking the man had escaped before he heard the telltale sound of something vomiting their guts out from what was most likely a case of radiation poisoning. And that sound led Jason's ears and eyes directly to the location of his target. It seemed as if he used his ability to appear atop a tall building.
Using the smoke as cover, Jason began to creep his way towards the building
O'Raan needed to get a handle on the situation at hand. He was sick. The radiation was poisoning him and getting deeper and deeper by the longer time seemed to continue. He had an idea however. He was able to orb any energy related substance...so what made this any different? Would he not be able to orb the toxin out of his body and off of his skin the same way that he was able to get rid of his Sacred Wood armor earlier? There was no charcoal around after all to absorb the toxin from his body, so this would be the next best thing. He gave it a try and started first with orbing the vomit from his stomach before he actually threw it up. This would stop him from suffering during battle.
It worked successfully, however he had to be sure to make the orbs small as possible as to not orb away a vital organ. Yes he thought as he did so.
While the man tried in every way he could to alleviate his symptoms from atop the tower, Jason had made his way to the building. The fact that the oh so demonic one had to slow down his reign of terror to deal with Jason's gift was all apart of the plan. His movements were far ranging and immediate, but by delivering an effect that would stick with him regardless of where he went, Jason knew that he could slow him down.
Jason would make his way up flight after flight of stairs, choosing to stay his immense power for both reasons of stealth as well as utility. When next he saw the demon, Jason would be able to attack him at full force without worry of having to hold back. If the man's power worked with him as a source, he too must be facing some sort of penalty for the extreme use of his ability as well. It only made sense as Jason had to deal with his.
Coming to the top of the building Jason would open the door that led to the roooftop, bringing him directly across from the demon as he was attempting to remove some sort of sickly looking substance from himself. While he did that Jason shot a quick blast of nuclear energy at his back, aiming to hit him and knock him down
