Name: Mr. E vs Name: Marrow Type: Solo Location: Rosedale Cemetery Terrain: Grassy, hilly, a number of tombstones and one or two large crypt-like buildings Range: 8 meters Time Limit: 3 Days Objective Level: Intermediate
A figure stood stock still, apparently reading the placard on a tombstone atop the crest of one hill of the cemetery. It had been about twenty minutes since he'd arrived, carrying some flowers he'd robbed a nearby bush of. The marker was old and unreadable, nor did he have any idea whose it was. He checked his phone, looking at the time. 3:05 PMit read. he gave a soft tsk as he turned around, starting to make for the exit. True, he'd posted the anonymous request for a formal duel on short notice, but he may have been too whimsical in his hopes that the yellow pages were still as useful for subtle communication as they had been where he'd worked previously.
Perhaps other measures must be taken to make a name for myself, he thought to himself, stepping down the path back to the front entrance of the cemetery.

The time had come for our villain to check out the open invitation to a battle proposal, just to see if it was genuine. It was rare to find someone so eager for an asswhooping that they'd advertise a battle proposition, and Marrow was just as eager to see if the advertisement was legit, so he'd be racing through the terrain in hopes of catching his future opponent before it was too late. It was either the man had a staggering amount of confidence in himself, or he was just plain stupid... maybe he was up to something more sinister, who knows? Upon his arrival, Marrow would notice a man who bore a striking resemblance to the villain in the advertisement's description aiming to leave the rendezvous point via the main gate.
" If it's a fight you want-" Marrow yelled as he augmented his skeleton and muscle fibers in rapid succession all the while running directly towards his opponent before launching himself towards his opponent, aiming to drop kick him dead in his chest. "-then look no further!"
"If it's a fight you want-" E heard from above, looking up at the incoming challenger as his skin vanished beneath an explosion of black fog that enveloped all but his right hand, "then look no further!"

Alright so the battle begins upon Mellow announcing himself, and charging towards Valithar at 5 SPM, his base SPM being 3.5 SPM while being boosted through his Leg Weights [.5 SPM] and his CFS [1 SPM]. Valithar has 2.5 Tracking Base with 1 SPM tracking boosted, which results in 3.5 Tracking SPM.
From what we know of the SPM advantage rule, we judge the difference in individual movement speed from one another based on how much more SPM one has from another person. I used this as a benchmark to determine how far your capable of moving before Valithar is able to notice you. So, Mellow has a 1.5 SPM advantage [5-3.5=1.5] meaning he's capable of traveling 1.5 meters before Valithar is capable of noticing anything, as you are 8 meters away. He would reach the 6.5 meter mark before Valithar realized Mellow had moved from his intial positon giving himself ample amount of time to use his technique, and thanks to Mellow having announced his intentions of fighting Valithar's reaction is totally justified.
Final Verdict.
Mellow gets to the 6.5 Meter mark before Valithar realizes anything out of order, Valithar then utilizes his Fog of War technique. It's Mellow's turn to decide his next/best course of action.

While still in the midst of his trajectory in heading towards his opponent using his dynamic entry technique, Marrow would notice a dark mass begin to emit from the man's ominous, partially shrouded body in a radial fashion. As the opponents defense mechanism was blasting out towards our main villain , a wretched smirk would manifest underneath the confides of Marrow's mask due to his bloodlust triggered excitement as he immediately enlarged his leading left leg in retaliation.
"So he's an emitter huh. Hiding behind a dark mist yet leaving only his right hand exposed. That must be the downside to his quirk. Must be why he's tryna stop me from getting in close while also attempting to hide his entire body by moving the fog..." Marrow analytically thought to himself as he proportionately expanded the rest of his body.
The end result of his growth spurt would be Marrow transforming himself into a giant. [all limbs and torso grow in in size by 5 meters(length and width) each as well as Marrow's feet] .
Following the sudden growth spurt, Marrow strategically causes a great number of jagged bone spikes [1.1m long] to suddenly thrust outwardly from all over his body in an omnidirectional manner. They’d especially peak from his torso, arms, legs, back and for this specific occasion, the soles of his feet as well. The villain would aim to overwhelm the man's black fog with his very own spiked battering ram like kick, aiming to thrust straight through the oppositions black mass and disperse it before plunging him away.

Having cloaked all but his right hand in black fog and gained his focus in battle, the quietly excited man had an inward smirk as he watched the man begin to enlarge before he vanished again. As his Fog of War reached its full 5 meter spherical reach, E dropped his hand straight to the ground, slipping between the rocky cairn built by some child as his fog sphere caught the man's kicking leg as it connected, instantly transporting it through to a portal 5 meters away from the edge of the sphere before E closed the portal, leaving it to kick and spasm among the gravestones further away.

Alright so first things first, Mellow's previous post that you had called a check on but had not quoted has been validated by your own response. In this RP if you intend to call a check on someone you go through a specific set of steps. First you would quote the enemies post, and not respond because any response regardless of whether you acknowledge what their trying to achieve is considered a validation of their actions. Meaning anything they say they do in the battle is achieved. Secondly you would discuss with your opponent and try to come to some sort of agreement or compromise. Third, if you two are unable to come to an agreement you must call a Staff Check, and have your opponent counter your check with their POV. In order for you to call upon someone to check your battle you must do all these things. Now, you chose to respond to Mellow's post, so all of Marrow's actions including him: "The end result of his growth spurt would be Marrow transforming himself into a giant. [all limbs and torso grow in in size by 5 meters(length and width) each as well as Marrow's feet] ."
Now onto the nitty gritty, Marrow is 6.5 meters away from you, and he would travel approximately 1.5 meters before you notice him based on the precedent I set in the earlier check. So he would be five meters away from you, unfortunately your mist cannot teleport anything passively, and since you yourself state that Marrow had vanished you have no idea where he would be and therefore have no idea where to place the portal. So you would be unable to
So if we look at the terrain, you say: "Terrain: Grassy, hilly, a number of tombstones and one or two large crypt-like buildings." You say nothing about the rocky cavirn and it being there to conveniently block your attack is God-Modding in my opinion. So this action would be voided, and the rest of Marrow's technique would go through.
It seemed as though Mellow thought his Dynamic Entry from last turn was going to continue, and it could have if he had resposted it but he chose not too. Unless a technique is passive, or is stated to last multiple turns after activation you MUST repost it otherwise it's just considered free-form. Now Marrow's transformation boost's his damage by .5 and his traits give him plus 1 DMG. That plus the default 2 DMG from Dance of Aloe Vera plus the .5 free-form is 4 DMG. You had coated yourself in your warp gate, but since this attack is 5 meters and there are multiple 1 meter jagged bones escaping from this kick, this attack would most definitely hit your exposed hand.
Final Verdict.
Restless takes 4 DMG to his total of 10 HP, will be knocked by approximately two meters and it's now Mellow's turn.
Upon his left foot making contact with the opponents exposed right hand and ramming the dark fog man backwards a couple meters across the granite rock slabs due to the sheer force that his enhanced kick had to offer, Marrow immediatly follows up the damaging contact of his attack by releasing the same bones from the soles of his leading foot that had just damaged the opponents hand, as jagged projectiles towards his target aiming to puncture the same vulnerable spot that had just been kicked and lead to his weakness being figured out.
In the meantime, while his opponent would be dealing with the swiftly incoming bone spikes, Marrow takes advantage of his enlarged body, extracting his extremely long spine from his back in the form of a makeshift whip-like weapon with his left hand. While doing so, a new spine would passively grow in it's place to prevent a handicap.
Without further ado, Marrow ferciely snaps his spinal weapon towards his opponents unveiled body part, aiming to deal damage while simultaneously bind his targets hand by wrapping the whip around all the while pulling it/ him towards Marrow as the cell manipulating villain advances towards his victim, rotating in a turbulent, clockwise manner with his jagged edge technique already active in order to tear the man apart as well as bludgeon him with an array of massive bones in which protruded from seemingly every part of Marrow's body.

Note: The second portal's creation happens nigh-instantly after the first. Note: Counters on an ACC Benchmark v Rank basis, as described in the Parent Technique. Note: If the user successfully redirects any targets with damage, it will continue to hold that damage magnitude.
Three fog clouds manifested beneath him, circling through the air and obscuring E's form even further. With a wave of his hand, one [1] of the fog clouds swirled its way towards the man, hungrily moving to engulf his body in its black vapor.
The kick connected with his hand, sending the fog cloud swirling away a few meters from the force of the impact. Without giving him a chance to follow up, E instantly teleported three meters behind his opponent, leaving the first portal back where he had been as bone spikes flew into the portal and exited from his own bodily portal and directly at the man's back, using his own attack against him. Before the spikes had even hit, E was floating up three [3] meters as his right hand vanished into the portal in tandem with the left appearing.
