The sky was dark gray, dull and loomed over Brooklyn's Botanical Garden ominously. The weather almost perfectly represented the mood that was being emanated from the Garden. Everyone was still and stoic, patiently waiting for the Lucas Family to make their moves. The Lucas family was a prominent mafia-like family that had the greatest influence in the underworld. Today they decided to host a brunch for the rookie villians who were interesting in either joining them or getting paid an extremely large sum of money for an operation. At the very center of Botanical was a huge greenhouse, and inside of it was almost like a wild jungle. Despite this, throughout the Garden were several tables and waiters. They held trays in one hand and holding their free arm behind their back. As each guest came into the greenhouse they were greeted and waited.
At the very center of the Greenhouse was a roundtable with four individuals sitting on every side. They were masked by the shade provided by the tree's making it impossible to see their face, only revealing silhouettes.
“Ugh, more rookies? Maaaan I reallyyyy don't feel like training anyone anymore, we are good enough as it is!”
“Honestly father doesn't have any trust in us? We could pull this off without the added weight.”
“Trust your father, he knows best! He has been leading us for 20 years, and in those years my brother has never made a wrong move. Not only that but we are expecting some High Profile Guest soon, so be on your best behavior!”
The three discussed as Villians began to creep in and become seated. They had plans on addressing everyone soon enough.
Gaunter trekked through the snow fall as he moved towards the botanical gardens. Word around town was that the Lucas family was hiring for a job and Gaunter had found himself in need of income since arriving in America. Land of the free indeed, he chuckled inside his head at the irony. He had heard years before in England of an American gangster called Frank Lucas but he didn't know if this was any relation. Passing the entrance of the gardens Gaunter banged the snow off his feet, taking a table he would order a pot of tea and await the next step.
Gambit leaves off from where he got a letter from Mr. Sinister in an envelope and he was worried about where to find people with Quirk abilities. He was new to New York so he had to find out some way or some how to figure out where to find people that have Quirk abilities. It has been a three days since he arrived. Gambit leaves his hotel room and works down to the lobby and talks to the clerk asking for his mail. He got two pieces of mail and walks his way out the door. He opens up both of the mail and one was for a coupon for pizza in the area and another was a letter from Mr. Sinister. It was regarding a meeting to help him gain some money but also how to find Quirk users. Gambit knew this would be his opportunity to do what he likes but also able to get what Mr. Sinister wants. The letter read the date of the meeting is actually in a hour. He knew the place where it was at because its the same place he went to after meeting Mr. Sinister and getting settled in his room.
"Mr. Sinister always looks out for the Dealer."
Gambit heads up to his room and grabs his coat and three deck of cards. He opens one of them up and puts the last two in his coat pocket on the inside. He shuffles the deck from one hand to another.
As he walks out his room and even the hotel people stare at him at amazed on how he can shuffle the cards in different ways. Gambit smirk looking at one of the ladies and does a quick magic trick with his cards as he threw one in the air and grabs it with his left hand. The one card actually was two and it was a king and queen. The lady blush and turns her head to the side a little trying not to show. He walks his way to the side of the street and whistle for a cab. A cab pulls up to him and he gets in.
"Take me to Brooklyn Botanical Garden."
Cab driver agrees and they take off. Hour later drive he arrives at his destination and pays the cab driver. He walks into the garden but doesn't look like the place he thought it was to be. Snow falling which isn't something he is use to plus this place was a lot fancier then he is use also. The waiters that are holding the trays are greeting everyone coming in and the place is so clean. "Who could be hosting this kind of meeting?", he was thinking in his head. He keeps his cards out still and grabs one of the finger foods on the tray one of the people was holding. Gambit knows he has to keep his ears and also eyes everywhere.
The cracking of a skull was the only noise heard in the dark alleyway, early in the morning, as the body hit the ground. Another victim of Korens, another low time delinquent with more attitude than skill, now just another dead body in Korens wake. As the mans head bled out across the ground, Koren did his usual, and went to take his money, except this time, he found something, an envelope, with a letter inside which read;
Greetings Villain. You are hereby invite to attend the Lucas families Villain Brunch. We have acknowledged your evil deeds in Hero City, and hereby would like to test you ability and have you meet with us so we can meet you, assess you and hopefully provide you with a nice paying job. Believe me, we pay well. Once you receive this letter, coordinates will be sent to your phone, however, after 24 hrs, the entire device will be wiped, we apologies, you will be reimbursed. We hope to see you soon,
Signed, The Lucas family
It was a strange letter, and Koren was confused by it. Reaching into the mans jacket, he pulled out the phone and sifted through the messages, and, luckily, he had several hours to spare before the device would self wipe. Jotting down the location, Koren decided to attend in his absence, as it would be rude to not show up to an invited party. Checking his own device, Koren had a few hours walk ahead of him, and set forth.
Arriving at the garden a little after sunrise, the sky was still gloomy and dark, perhaps a storm would be coming. In the center, a huge green house where the coordinates ended. Pushing the door open, Koren was greeted by a butler, who seated Koren without a word. The table in the center sat four people each side, however only three were talking, the other in silence. Sitting down, Koren grabbed the letter and phone he had swiped from the dead villain, and threw both onto the round table in front of the four as he spoke.
I hope you don't mind, i borrowed this one's invitation, he's currently...unavailable, he had more important issues to attend to...like....dying, i guess?
Koren giggled to himself, although it was a low pitch, only audible to himself, as his robes and mask hide the rest of his features.
The sounds of high heels scraping upon the city side walk could be heard. Frantic breathing and pacing followed, a woman in need of help maybe? More like a meal attempting to out run death. Alien seemed to having a addiction towards attacking women. They tasted far better than the bitterness of a male. He found a females innocents added a sprinkle of delicious properties he could not explained. With that now being his focus when it came to probing, he never missed the opportunity to pluck off a woman who has strayed from the rest of society. Alien laughed wickedly his green eyes glowing in the abyss. He loved the sight of watching his prey struggle, but that quickly got old. He had no patience, he was someone who skipped right to desert. With that in mind his tentacles sprouted out by the numbers and cocooned around the woman. He felt his body temperature rising, the woman must have had some kind of heat quirk. This forced a violent reaction, his tentacles crushing the woman to the point where it forced her to pass out. Alien showed complete interest in this woman's behavior now. Why would she pretend to be scared and lead him here to this secluded area. Releasing the majority of her body, one of his tentacles remained around her neck. He gazed upon her seeing if she was familiar, but no she wasn't.
He decided it would be best to go through he belongs, using another one of his tentacles to go through he bag looking for something interesting on who she was. He found a phone, a mask and her wallet. This practically gave him everything he needed. the woman was a low down villain who went by the name "Fire Top" maybe she spewed fire from her mouth? None of that mattered, but she seemed to hold some importance. She had got a formal invite to some Lucas Family event. Alien didn't know what it was for, but it seemed like the perfect chance to scope out the competition. He decided he would bring this woman with him as an example of his prowess, he almost felt insulted that they did not reach out to him, but its not like Alien has a phone or anything anyway. You would literally have to track him down to find and communicate with him.
The Day Of:
Its hard to tel the difference between yesterday and today. Alien was still up to his usual behavior of prowling the streets looking for a sack of appealing meat to drive his tentacles into, his preference sill being of the female gender, but he did not discriminate against good prey. Today he was going to be attending this Lucas Family Meeting., but before he could do that he needed to acquire another appetizer. He still had the woman from the prior day in his clutches, she was still unconscious. It was hard to stay aware with broken bones and a tight grip around your wind pipe. Alien gave her enough air to breath. He was starting to think the woman liked being strangled, he could hear soft moan occasionally coming from her direction. His second meal had to be a friend of hers, she most have followed a signal on her phone, but it only led to this female being captured too.
Alien made his way through the snow until he arrived at his destination. He walked in, his tentacles wrapped around the two females neck, maybe the faces of these women would be recognizable to the Lucas family as two individuals they had invited to take part in this offer. Alien only wanted to show his dominance over the lesser individuals. He eyed each of the masked individuals, the each glowed a different color, allowing for him to read the emotions of them simultaneously. Two of them seemed to be quite arrogant, while one was composed. Alien thought maybe this one was the oldest and held the most power out of the three.
He than took notice of everyone around him and acceded the situation. Gaunter was ordering tea, he seemed to have patience. Gambit, he was a little more mysterious, minding his own business eating finger foods. Koren, this individual was quite edgy or trying to be that. He gifted the Lucas Family a bloody invitation, he wanted his prowess to be known, much like alien. Although Alien was't rude enough not to bring the bodies of the victims with him. They deserved to be here just as much as he did.
For now he would only watch, he rather not talk to the majority unless he needed to. This was all to learn and to understand how things functioned here.

I stood out of to the side of the other villains, hands crossed against my chest as i took stock of the rest of the bystanders. I was decidedly unimpressed, "So i think were all wondering the same thing, what is our purpose here? youve gathered us all up for a purpose and a big one at that. Villains in groups never work out well for anybody" Like every other participant in the area i had also recieved a letter inviting me to some event or another with VERY meticulous direction on how to get here, now is time for answers.
"Prospect Park, huh? Whew, man, time sure flies. How many years has it been since I was last here?"
In response to a summons for amateur villains, Nike furtively made his way through the park and walked towards the designated meeting place in the Gardens. As a wanted fugitive, he did his best to avoid attracting any unnecessary attention. Though some may have considered it counter-intuitive for him to come out of hiding, the Lucas Family's letter of invitation was far too enticing to ignore. Though he was ignorant to the explicit details, the mention of a large payout was enough to inspire his participation. Nike was aware of the Lucas Family's reputation as a renowned crime syndicate, and that was enough to assure the legitimacy of such a reward. With money being his motivation, Nike convinced himself that it was best to "hide in plain sight," and slowly walked through the park. However, with it being his first visit in a long while, he decided to take a detour on his way to the meeting. He ventured off the paved trail and took a more scenic route, trekking through snow that piled up on the grass.
"I wonder if it's still there ..."
After a few minutes, Nike approached an area that he was all too familiar with. The mere sight of it filled him with an acute sense of nostalgia as memories of his earlier high school days flooded his mind.
"Haha, ah, man. Dope Lounge looking the same as ever. I wonder if any of the guys been back here recently."
"Dope Lounge" was the name that Nike and a few of his friends had given to a group of fallen trees within Prospect Park. The trees had previously fallen over each other in a unique crisscross pattern, and in such a way that large groups of people could easily sit or lay down and relax on them. They were surrounded on all sides by other trees, which obscured a persons view of the lounge from outside. It was a place where Nike and his friends used to come to smoke bud and trip shrooms. It was a serene place, and the source of many of Nike's more innocent memories from boyhood.
"Well .. I guess I should be on my way. I'd hate to keep those rich pricks waiting."
Nike briefly spoke his thoughts out loud, as if using that snarky comment to rouse himself back to attention. He was here for a reason; he didn't have the time to reminisce. And with that, he made his way through a small forest of trees and made his way to the Botanical Gardens. His knowledge of the area was as if it were his own backyard, and as such, he knew the shortest route there from his current location. After a few more minutes, he approached and entered the appointed Greenhouse to the sight of multiple other villains already in wait.
*Haha, if looks could kill. I wonder, are they my friends, or are they my competition?*
Nike briefly pondered in reaction to the stares he received upon his entrance. However, he was never one to let such things bother him. He nonchalantly made his way through the crowd and towards one of the unoccupied corners of the room. He identified the silhouette's of several people at the center of the room and assumed that they were the one's who invited everyone to this meeting place. Focusing his attention on those figures, Nike posted himself up against the wall of the room and waited for them to address the crowd.
Alas on a rather unfaithful day, within the halls of the Blackthrone mansion - Naomi was in the middle of her daily training regime when one of many butlers of the estate came forward towards her. His eyes where bewildered by the invitation from a stranger. "You're highness, it seems you where invited to this meeting by the Lucas Family...they insist that you attend."
Naomi stomped her training as she heaed him speak, her calm and attractive smirk sent a chill down the spine of the individual, as he dropped the letter and ran off. She would pick the letter up herself and started to read the contents of it. Hmm...fine. I'll entertain this invite she said to no one in particular. She simply resumed her training as normal.
Several days later she would be on the Brooklyn's Botanical Garden, slowly entering the building - she kept to her self for the most part as she sat down away from most of the crowd sulking.
Despite the Greenhouse being designed to retain and sustain heat, the entire structure began to feel cold and extremely frigid. Just as this happened, loud clanking noises could be heard coming from the south end. A huge man with a cowboy hat could be seen making his way towards the center, leaving a trail of frost and ice in his wake. He stood at least 9 feet tall and had an armor draped over his shoulders and his hat covered his eyes, but the residual light from his glowing eyes could still be seen. Close up his identity could be seen, Eliott and the Ranger.
"Elliot-Sama, let me be free." He started to say, talking to himself.
"Shut up, I told you not to talk when we get inside here." He replied to himself with.
"I know, but listen. If you die, I die as well. Miss Deathpierce will kill us if we fail the mission and..."
"Shut up!" He yelled, getting frustrated with himself.
As the man made his way to the center, the Lucas family watched with unease as Elliot and the Ranger made their way to the center of the house. They weren't uneasy because of his strength, but because of the history of Elliot and one of the family members sitting at the table. Their faces and expressions hidden by the shade of the tree's.
"Crap! Fang would send the Retard!" One of the Lucas family members whispered under her breath
"Tsk...Let's be nice, especially you Tony." Another one replied
"I'm good Uncle, as long as he doesn't start with me...I won't act out. But I'm not about to sit here while you greet and talk to him." He said as he stood up and left the table Beginning to walk around and mingle and meet other villians. Stepping out form the shade his full face was revealed. Tony was a pretty built man, sporting a red designer suit and a diamond watch worth millions. He wore clean cut cocaine white pants and diamond-encrusted shoes. As Elliot came to the table, Tony had left and begun talking to other people who had attended the brunch. Tony is free to interact with if you any of you chose. Announcement coming in 12 hours.
Nike turned his attention to the South end of the Greenhouse in response to the distinct crackling sound of ice, as opposed to the expected crunching of snow. There stood a man, towering at around nine feet tall, and adorned in outrageous garments for the time of year. He appeared to have a bizarre, brusque manner of speaking, as he entertained a conversation with himself upon entering. The man had a wide gait, and the ground appeared to freeze with every step he took. Nike deduced that as being the source of crackling sound he'd noticed earlier, as well as the reason for the rooms temperature taking a sudden dive.
*Uwah, who sent this yokel an invite?*
Though his attention was momentarily fixed on the South Entrance, Nike didn't fail to notice the sudden movement that stemmed from the center of the room. One of the figures had departed the center table, and from under the veil of shade, he revealed himself to be a lavishly dressed young man.
*Hehh ~ This guy's wearing a house on his wrist like it's nobody's business. I'm looking forward to this payout more and more.*
The man addressed several people in the room, making small talk with each one as if to pass time. Regardless of whether the conversations were interesting or not, the man almost looked restless, as if he didn't want to linger in one place for too long. Within a few minutes, he walked towards Nike in his Northern corner of the room. Never having been one to shy away from conversation, Nike decided to approach the young man who appeared to be one of the sponsors of this little event.
"Hey, who's the halfwit? I'm surprised he didn't knock himself out passing through that entrance."
Nike was referring to the over-sized bruiser on the opposite side of the room.
"Haha, I didn't know you guys kept cowboys in your employ."
Being a rising star in the world of crime Drayce alongside several others was invited to yet another event. The last one had not only made him rich but established him as a member of fang. It additionally helped him acquire some powerful friends. Given the high profile heist he was apart of Drayce made no attempt to hide himself rather he tried to distinguish himself as much as possable. Even yelling so as to find out if his friends and former heist members were here. A
" Nike, Spectrum, Deathpierce!"
Yelling out the names he caught sight of Nike, boisterous as ever. He slyly approached him with a snarky comment
*Haha, if looks could kill. I wonder, are they my friends, or are they my competition?*
"If looks could kill, You're a serial killer my friend"
"What does one offer a man who has it all hmm? The clothes the jewels, the money and success clearly. How does one tempt such a person. Though it would be a shame to see those jewels lose their lustre in darkness. I've a feeling the end of the sun would tempt such a man greatly."
Gaunter said with a knowing grin, loudly enough that the Lucas family member would be able to hear him clearly as he passed by. Gaunter simply sat and continued drinking his tea calmly. Knowing his words rang true. He had quite a sense for things like this, it seemed Frank indeed operated in this country still. His remark would undoubtedly garner attention
Tony cut a shady side-eye at the man who decided to approach and talk to him about Elliot. He didn't know who he was, but assuming the invite was sent to almost mainly rookies and those new to the game, he was clearly a rookie. He should know better than to talk openly about people. There were no friends in this business, only family, and consumers. His father taught him enough. Considering where he was, he decided to stop him from talking too much and ruining a potential network. "Hey, who's the halfwit? I'm surprised he didn't knock himself out pa-" and with a snap of Tony's finger's another word never left that man's mouth. His lips moved but no sound was made.
"Watch your mouth rookie. Look where you are, this isn't a High School party where you openly talk about people you don't like. I would dead-ass smack you right now if you were in my family." He said in a very deep New York accent. There weren't any ill intentions, but he was trying to school guy on game.
Just then, he heard another obnoxious voice yell out random names from behind him. He turned his head and raised his eyebrow to notice another individual approaching. One of the names caught his ear, being Deathpierce. How did this guy know deathpierce? And did this disrespectful rookie know deathpierce as well? He was intrigued. He snapped his fingers once more and gave Nike his voice back.
"Let's start this over, My name is Tony Lucas, Eldest Son of Frank Lucas, and the Crime Prince. Nice to meet you!" Frank said, extending his hand out to greet the two men. (Drayce and Nike)
Meanwhile, another rookie had tried to overstep his place. Tony had acted like he didn't hear it and ignored it. Of course, this wasn't because he didn't care, but because he knew his sister had heard it as well considering her quirk. He would let her deal with that.
At the very center of the greenhouse, where the other three Lucas family members, as well as Elliot, conversed and watched, Gaunter's comments had caught the ear of one of the Lucas family members despite being so far away. Her name was Xuebei Lucas and was the third eldest daughter of Frank Lucas. She wore a golden headpiece with an intricate design and 14 karat gold earrings with a white blouse made from Egyptian silk.
Without any warning or sign, she appeared directly in front of Gaunter, eyes locked. She spoke to him, but she did not open her mouth, nor was there any audible sounds, only a voice inside Gaunter's mind.
"Who sent you and how do you know about the Sun's End? I don't want to tear apart your psyche to find it but I will!"
The Voice echoed throughout his mind, almost detached from reality itself. A very scary and unorthdox experience. (Rexii)
Gaunter looked up in surprise for a moment as the voice echoed in his mind, the woman's lips seemed not to move. It confirmed his suspicions. While they had brought many villains here the plan was a secret clearly displayed by her unwillingness to speak openly regarding it. A slight grin came across his face once more, one of knowing as he looked up in to her eyes. Just then a second version of himself appeared to her. Walking slowly around the table while the true him remained stationary. Nobody else in the room would see this optical illusion bar her.
"Oh my darling girl people do not send me anywhere, no most certainly not. For I am a simple merchant who travels where he wants and peddles his wares to whom he wants. It just so happens that our paths crossed today. As for how I know of your plan, why that's quite simple. Loose lips sink ships but like the tide I raise all around me. You've naught to worry about. I am discreet. More so than those who spread word of your plan"
Gaunter spoke not a word but his thoughts echoed through the optical illusion directly to her. With his speech finished the illusion vanished once more as fast as it appeared. Not a single word had passed but a story was told nonetheless.
Name: Optical Illusion Quirk: Illusion Rank: D Experience Points: 10 Type: Supplementary Range: Close Damage: N/A Description: This is a simple illusion. The user places the victim/s in an illusion in which the user messes with the victims vision essentially planting false input data. This can cause the victims vision to distort or can be used to make them see things that don't really exist or to see someone with a different appearance or in a different location than before. Usages could include things such as making a victim see solid land where there is in fact a steep cliff or seeing an ally as an enemy. Unlike some illusions the victim is not paralysed in this leading to potential self harm or the harm of others.
Drawbacks: As mentioned above the illusion is not difficult to discern and can be broken more simply than high level illusions. With the victim needing to adequately describe how they determined it was an illusion in character following the rules of metagaming etc. The trigger for this move requires the victim to been looking at the user when it's cast. This illusion can also be used on lesser beings such as animals. Being more effective on them than humans since they lack the intelligence to determine the nature of illusions
Koren sat in still silence, watching, listening, and observing the play around him. On one end, the flashy shit head with the jewels and an attitude to boot was flaunting around with some kid's who seemed to know people they shouldn't, yet he was still polite, how strange. At the table sat the cowboy and his handler, dangerous those two, that was obvious, but Koren wasn't interested in them in the slightest, as it was obvious one of the loud mouths would likely be the one to fall victim to the duo. On the far end, however, is what truly caught Korens full attention. The lady in the crown, whose name was unknown, had moved faster than Koren could see, and appeared in front of other loud mouth in the room, but weirdly enough, the too just stood there, glaring at each other. Where they truly just glaring each other down, or perhaps one of them had a mind based quirk, it was completely unknown to Koren, but it looked like something he would enjoy playing with. Standing up from his seat, Koren would walk over to the two, who were deep in each others eyes. Walking towards the two, Koren would activate his quirk just shy of a meter away from them. As he took his next step, he would channel his quirk into his right leg. As contact is made with the ground, his quirk would release into it. 5m in front of him and 5m deep, a huge impact would smash the ground completely, creating a vibrative shockwave and a huge hole in the ground of the botanical gardens. The impact would be contained in the 5m radius, which was Korens maximum distance at this level, but the impact would be enough to get the rooms attention. Turning his head to the side, facing the round table, Koren would speak.
How about we stop playing house, and you tell us why we are actually here, before i bring the whole place down, because im quite bored at this little fiasco that's happening.
Koren wouldn't say another word, merely waiting for action as he channeled his Quirk back into his hands, free from triggering again and causing any more damage. No one would be hurt, not by the initial hit, as it was channeled into the ground, but the impact would send anyone in the radius onto their ass.
Name: Smash Quirk: Crush Quirk Quirk Level: Basic Rank: D rank Experience Points: Free Type: Supplementary Range: Close Damage: 0 Description: Smash is the initial activation technique of the Crush Quirk. This technique allows the user to “smash” any inanimate object he comes into contact via his limbs, feet, and hands. Things that have been smashed shatter apart completely. This power exists due to the immense pressure that constantly emits from the user’s limbs - feet - hands, thus the power is extremely dangerous and hindering to the user's body as well possessions if the palms shall ever touch them.
Drawbacks: At this level, Crush cannot be deactivate or activated. The power within the palms constantly exert the destructive nature of the quirk, thus all techniques receives an additional damage point. Drawbacks: At this level, Crush cannot be deactivate or activated. The power within the palms constantly exert the destructive nature of the quirk, thus all freeform receives an additional damage point.
Name: Annilate Quirk: Crush Rank: D Rank Experience Points: 10 Type: Offensive | Defensive Range: Close Damage: 3 DMG | Negates 3 DMG Description: Annilate is the first technique Koren created for his Crush quirk. By touching an object, he will channel his quirk into it, smashing it apart instantly. The size of the smash is cannot extend five meters in width and/or height. When an opponent is hit with this technique, the area hit will vibrate briefly before they are hit with a shockwave of energy to the contacted area, sending them flying three meters as if they where hit by a car.
Drawbacks: Annilate requires direct contact with the object that Koren wishes to smash, meaning he cannot activate it until contact is made. This technique can either deal 3 DMG or negate 3 DMG, but not both.
