< CRISIS SYSTEM ARRIVED! > The Crisis System has finally be constructed and release to the general public. We encourage people to test out the system and enjoy themselves in drafting grand stories capable of changing the dynamics of the Role-Play World. Understand that the system is new, thus there are some kinks to be worked out that we couldn't due to not having enough man power to test! Make sure to read the rules which are placed in the Rules and Checks section of the RP Boards.
< THE NEXT MAJOR EVENT! > The Next Major Event will arrive starting the first week of Decemeber! Why are we making this announcement so early? Because we want to provide ample amount of opportunity to warn the community to start preparing and testing out their move sets. It will be a faction event once more, which means Heroes vs Villains BUT remember that Vigilantes are now thrown into the fray. It would be utter chaos so stay tune!

Gogo winced as the man connected his fist to her chin, even letting out a painful moan. The way he blocked her previous strikes let Gogo know; he was a trained fighter. Not only was his defense great but his punches were nothing to sneeze at. The girl stumbled backwards through the sludge, making an effort to continue standing after the wallop. Placing her hands up to prepare for an incoming barrage, she would be slightly relieved that the man also leaped back and decided not to follow up. Had the man decided to attack, Gogo would have been vulnerable.
The cops above would begin to fire blindly into the sewer. The man would respond by running forward, past Gogo, and delivered a blow to the sewer wall. This hole he created would immediately begin to siphon the murky water from around them, which was good for Gogo. Her movement would return to normal, and she would utilize the opportunity to strike. Without further hesitation she would lunge at the man, hoping to land a tackle and take him down. Afterwards she would scramble to mount the man, beginning to let out a barrage of punches of her own. Each punch thrown with a grunt for extra "oomf".

His words were conflicting but meaningless in the situation. She had no intention of learning the reason for his whereabouts. She just needed to get this guy under control before someone got hurt. The last thing she needed was recklessness getting civilians injured. She hated having to be down here as well. The faster she could get him under control, the faster she could remove herself from these horrid sewers. She braced herself as he punch made contact. However, the sudden force pushing her back threw her off guard. She took a hold of one of her previous spikes to prevent her from flying back too far. [break][break]
"Damn...."[break][break]
She watched as her armor began to crumble. Her head pounding from the males attack. There was no time to rest. She needed to keep her pace. She reinstated her armor and took a deep breath before continuing her pursuit. Her eyes glaring to the sudden entrance create. At this rate he would make a mess of the cities sewer system as well.[break][break]
"This is ridiculous. Stop running."[break][break]
She spoke before stepping foot into the entrance. Her armor withstanding as she forced her way through the debri. She began to take a piece of one of the rumbled rock and construct her diamond mesh once more. This time tossing it forward ahead to attempt to block the males path.[break][break]

Hao wasn't after the bloodshed, nor was he here o hurt anyone. All this could've been avoided had he not been attacked and had Cumber not have shown up when he did. Now the chase was on and all he needed to do was slip away long enough. Though his pursuer was quite persistent, to say the least. The smell of being in the sewer was really starting to get to him, even with is protection. All that he could hear was his heavy breathing and his footsteps as he continues to sprint away. All of these holes he was putting into the sewer system couldn't be a good thing either. -Man...why do I always manage to get into the worse situations? I need to get out of here and get away.- he thought to himself.
Just then a shadow loomed over him, even in the dim lit area he would be able to make out what it was. A piece of debris found its way in front of Haoquin. He curses to himself out loud as he makes a sharp left and places his hand onto the wall once more causing for another small entrance to form, where he could slip through. Not wanting to destroy the sewer, this time around he made the hole roughly around the same size as his body. Though this time instead of continuing to run, he moved immediately to the side of the entrance waiting for his pursuer to follow. Hopefully, this would trick her, seeing as she wouldn't see the Hao before her anymore unless she turned to her immediate side. Whether it worked or not, Haoquin would attempt to push her away from him, sending her backward and run out that entrance and away again.
Cumber fell forward as something shoved itself against him from behind, just as he stepped out of the impromptu doorway. Falling to his knees in the putrid waste surrounding them, Cumber caught himself with one forearm as he felt the minnow clamber on top of him. Reflexively, Cumber blocked his head with his left arm as a hail of blows came down from above and buffeted him as he struggled to keep his head above the sludge. Most blows were absorbed by his arm, but some managed to slip past his arm and clock Cumber in the head, one of which cracked against his jaw and dropped his head into the sewage.
With an angry shout, Cumber surged back up out of the water, pushing off of his arm to give him leverage as he rose up. Throwing his left arm up and behind the girl's head, Cumber shifted his weight and drove his elbow into the back of her neck, attempting to force her downward as he got up further. He'd just started to push his weight down on her when another gunshot rang out, louder than anything he'd heard in a long time. Before he'd had time to even register the noise, a pebble seemed to smack into him and Cumber turned to see a cop standing in the fresh opening of the wall. Gun raised, eyes flicking between the girl and the significantly larger man beside her. "Hands in the air!" he yelled, swapping the target of his gun several times before deciding Cumber was the better choice.
Slowly, Cumber looked down, twisting to look down at his right side. A gash had found its way onto his body, exposing some of the bright red to the world. He let out a long breath, slowly looking up as he exhaled to look the cop in the eye. He watched as the man's eyes went from focused and wary, to curious as they flickered to Cumber's bleeding side, and then confusion as the flesh resealed itself. Cumber gave a condescending shake of his head, before he threw a ball of ki forward, detonating it and surrounding all three in burning ki. As the cop's surprised cry turned to one of pain, Cumber was already bolting forward, landing a heavy gut punch to the officer before he could recover. He'd doubled over, staggering back through the makeshift entrance before catching himself on the wall and had just started to right himself when Cumber's foot crushed his chest cavity in with a single kick.
As the man fell away into more officers climbing down some rope, Cumber stepped back and released another ki blast, caving the sewer in and preventing further intrusion. "All right," he said, turning back to the minnow that had kept tangling his lines, an aura of ki flaring up around him as he made ready to intercept any incoming blows, "Still got fight left in ya? I'm full sails over here, lass."
Gogo's fists throbbed as several of her punches crashed into the mans forearm, her knuckles kissing the bone in his blade. While some punches did get through, they weren't strong enough to cause any serious damage, let alone Knock him out. One blow in particular landed extremely hard, this blow triggered a reaction within the man. A mighty roar was let out as he pushed himself up, simultaneously shifting gogo's body over to the side, attempting to switch places. She was shook.
*PHEWM*
The sound of a gun being fired rang throughout the sewer, a bullet leaving an entrance wound in the villains arm. "Hands in the air!" The cop yelled. He had just made his way down into the sewer, his gun struggling to find it's aim before finally selecting a target. The villain would stand, leaving Gogo grounded still, and face the cop. His wound would heal itself, just before he fired out another one of his energy balls at the cop. The explosion would send a wave of heat throughout the area, the sludgey water becoming warm and the smell intensifying. Gogo couldn't react when he dashed over and attacked the already weakened officer.
"Still got fight left in ya? I'm full sails over here, lass." The man's body continued to glow in some aura. With the entrance sealed off now, the only thing Gogo could do is to fight and hopefully win. Without and further hesitation, she dashed towards the man and attempted to deliver a punch; hoping it had the same impact as her last punch.

Marina continued forward keeping eyes on her target. She wasn't enjoying the damage that was being done within the sewage system. At this rate, the risk of collapsing tunnels would grow higher. She needed to proceed with caution. She slowed to a walk as she watched him disappear. Perhaps he was setting up for a sneak attack. She couldn't let herself be overpowered down here; especially when her ally was nowhere near to help her. She remained silent taking each step closer and closer towards where she figured he would be. However, she soon stopped in her tracks.[break][break]
Bang.[break][break]
"W... Was that a gun?..." [break][break]
She turned her head back toward where she came from. What on earth was happening on the surface. She was troubled. She could either continue to chase after this villain or return back to ensure Gogo was ok. In truth, it wasn't really the hardest to decide on. She knew what the right choice was.[break][break]
"Were so dead...."[break][break]
She huffed and turned back in her tracks. Her body approaching a sprint as she left the tunnel and entered the main drain. She needed to backtrack and get to her friend quickly. She hoped the cops were not taking things out of hand. Once she approached the hole that she jumped into, she jumped up and pulled herself to the surface slowly. [break]

Haoquin sits and waits what feels like an eternity. The moment his pursuer would come through the opening he would get her. Though to his surprise, it seemed as if she never did come through. Had she given up the chase? The man would play it safe and wait it out. The sounds of Cumber and the smoke users' fight could be heard even from this area. It seemed they might've gotten a bit serious. Surely the authorities are over there at the moment. Haoquin listened for any footsteps or any sounds out of the ordinary. After a few moments, he made a break for it, going deeper into down the tunnel sprinting harder than he had before. Just as a sprinter would in the last few meters of their race, Haoquin felt the burn through his legs. The built-up pressure he stored in his legs would carry him home. With a single spring into the air, the male latches onto a ladder he finds and climbs it to its end. Pushing the lid above it, he peeked onto the surface to see if the sight was clear. At the moment he was on a backstreet right beside a park. It didn't seem like anyone was around. In one fluid movement, he slid out and jogged over to a park bench and sat down as he caught his breath. Just then a flashlight was shined in his face. A man wearing a suit and tie loomed over him.
"Hmm.. you are out late and drenched and sweat.... you also smell horrible. You wouldn't happen to be involved in what happened in the sewer tonight would ya?"
"Sewer? Me? No, I just had a serious workout is all. What you are smelling is my sweat. Though what happened in the sewer?"
"Some shitheads decided it would be a good idea to fight down there. Causing quite a bit of damage to the area and the sewer. Though we are getting off track, I just saw you put that sewer lid back in place. Care to explain yourself.
Haoquin was growing a bit frustrated and thought about attacking the man but instead, he put his hands up passively. "Listen, man, I had nothing to do with what happened. You saw me put the sewer lid back because it was out of place. Now if you'll excuse me, I have someplace to be."
The man in the suit stares Haoquin down before turning on his heel and leaving. Haoquin himself would begin to head South from his location as he thought to himself. -That was a close one. I gotta be more careful next time. Though who was the guy and who sent him after me? Also, where did Cumber and the other two come from? This all could've been prevented. Illegal quirk usage..even if it's defending yourself or someone else. When the law fails to serve us, we must serve as the law- He thinks as he walks away. WC:502 Total:3333
Cumber swiped an arm to the side, attempting to deflect the incoming blow with a forearm but misjudged the timing and wound up opening himself up to the blow. His height advantage worked against him in this instance, as the girl's blow landed up in his diaphragm. A snarl escaped him, its gruff noise worsened by the wheeze he made as his lungs fought to re-stabilize. He shoved the girl backwards hard as he caught his breath a moment, making room for himself to lunge forward on the offensive. As he reached her, a hand shot forward to hold her in place and pull her closer as he brought a knee up to meet her stomach once, twice before he shoved her back and released a heavy downward punch to her face. With how much she'd been keeping up, he doubted it would be long before she recovered, so he turned away as he released her from his grasp.
"You'll be a much better catch one day," he said as he sloshed through the now only ankle-deep sewer water, "Can't let a good fight go to waste if you're worth the wait..." He disappeared down the corridor, wary of any sounds closing in on him. After several minutes of walking in silence, Cumber came across a ladder and scaled it after checking for anyone following. As he reached the top rung, Cumber laced his arm with ki as he punched upwards, sending the manhole cover careening into the darkness. He'd come up in a residential area, and the smell of green grass told him a park wasn't too far away either. Looking around, Cumber found himself alone as he set off to the East, passing through the park as he did so. Before he'd made it more than halfway across what he assumed was a soccer field, a beam of light pierced the night and shone in Cumber's eyes. He squinted at the harsh new light, trying to see who it was when a voice called to him.
"Well now," the voice said, "I'm sure this can't be a coincidence. You smell..." a pause, and a sniffle, "rank. You crawl out of the sewers? Been getting a lot of complaints and I've already -" before he could finish, Cumber bolted forward, one hand reaching for his throat while the other went for the flashlight. A crik sounded as the metal bent and the light flickered out. The man gasped and clawed at Cumber's wrist as his fingers dug into the suit's neck. "Ah... eh... ueh..." the frantically scratching nails slowed slightly, and then more and more over several seconds before Cumber felt the body go limp in his grasp. He stood there a moment longer, grasp tightening further before he threw the now-lifeless body among some large bushes.
He moved a few feet before stopping again. A hand curled up into a fist and he stared at it, a slight grin etching its way across his face. He'd finally done it - he'd found people around here who were not only capable of fighting, but were willing to as well. He looked up, a wild hunger filling his eyes as he strode off into the night once more. The sound of sirens trailed off and quieted as he put more and more distance between himself and the sewers.
The man swiped Gogo's arm to the side, attempting to deflect the incoming blow with a forearm but misjudged the timing and wound up opening himself up to the blow. His height advantage worked against him in this instance, as the Gogo's blow landed up in his diaphragm. A snarl escaped him, its gruff noise worsened by the wheeze he made as his lungs fought to re-stabilize.
A wave of excitement spread over her body as she landed a clean hit finally. He shoved her backwards hard as he caught his breath a moment, making room for himself to lunge forward on the offensive. Distracted by the excitement of her previous attack, this action would catch her off guard. As he reached her, a hand shot forward to hold her in place and pull her closer as he brought a knee up to meet her stomach once, twice before he shoved her back and released a heavy downward punch to her face. Gogo could the air escape her lungs, as well as her brain bouncing inside of her skull. Suddenly everything began to go dark as her body dropped into the water.
"You'll be a much better catch one day, can't let a good fight go to waste if you're worth the wait..." A now distorted voice said to Gogo, most likely belonging to the man as she began to slip away into unconsciousness. Her final thoughts were of Marina and how she managed against the other man. These thoughts were brief.

After finally escaping the sewer, she finally took a deep breath and relaxed. Fresh air never felt so good. She began to look around look at the disrupted alleyway. Well, from the looks of it, Gogo had quite the battle. She began to venture forward hearing thuds against the ground. SHe paused only to find a passed out Gogo. Her immediate instinct went to check her pulse. It was stable though she looked a bit roughed up. She looked around attempting to see if the villain had escaped. Well this was quite the unfortunate night. Not only did they get in trouble with the authorities but they also allowed two villians to escape. [break][break]
"Let's get out of here." [break][break]
She took a hold of Gogo's arm and heaved her up walking her to the parked bike. After placing the helmet on herself and her guest, she started the vehicle and took another deep breath. How was she going to explain this? She would worry about that later. Right now, she needed to get them both back and get Gogo some medical assistance to make sure she would get patched up. Her eyes turned slightly to see the bag of food the two had bought hours ago. She almost forgot about that.[break][break]
